31 Golden Eyed Freak!!

It was already 10 in the morning when they left the inn she said goodbye to both Mr and Mrs. Jon. They sent her off with kind smiles and best of wishes on her journey.

Then the three of them went and travelled the streets. It was very awkward for the two wolves so they stuck as close as possible to her. They looked around in worry as if someone may attack them anytime.

'There very shy aren't they?' She thought.

They only travel around town for and hour stopping at various stalls to eat food or buy things. She also stopped at the book store to return the books she got.

She wanted to read them but later lost interest because of what happened. She brought the two wolves to the restaurant and fed them. They decided to walk a little longer.

Until Angelica stopped walking and turned to the paranoid wolves. She bent down and stroked their fur with her hands.

She softly spoke to them, "If you guys don't like it anymore then we can leave. Even I feel about uncomfortable with their stares." She got up and this time they walk far, far away from the town slowly.

Angelica felt a sort of relief after leaving. Yesterday night she felt that alley man's word were... kinda true. Her heart felt heavy after that incident that she just wanted to leave the town to avoid his prying eyes.

She sighed and finally told Helix to transform and this time they were heading straight to the Witch Forest without stopping.

She nearly forgot that the witch council will be held next in 3 days. Right now they need to travel for about 1 and a half before arriving there. They would probably arrive their by night and the following day would be the council.

The ride their was very quite but peaceful. They set up a camp at a near by forest and sleep there for the night. Helix was exhausted so both she and Harry took turns watching out.

She placed a barrier around the sleeping wolves and travel a bit into the forest. She found an open area with a pond. It wasn't big but it was just enough for 5 people to fit in.

Lucky for her, she had it all for herself.

She went closer to the lake and found out it was completely clear. She felt like taking a dip in it and so she did. She stripped her cloths off completely and stepped into the cold water.

She felt more alive after feeling its coldness. She looked up at the moon and silently stay there.

A certain scene hit her head. It was a long time ago and it was a place similar to this. She came here before with Stacie and a few others.

Her eyes blankly looked on and she said it herself, "It's only at times like these when I remembered you the most. What should I do Stacie? This foolish sister of yours can't move on?"

'A witch would not be a person that causally strolls down the street of humans'

It was like something snapped inside her brain after remembering those words. She felt pissed off hearing the words again and again in her brain.

"Tch! Golden eyed freak! What exactly do you know about me?!!?" She yelled out loud in the wilderness. She was frustrated by his words.

The sound of bird flying away were heard but she didn't stop.

"Well shit! In life I did many bad things and heard many bad things yet why do his words bother the shit out of me?!?"

She was on a roll, continuously slapping the water in frustration or either cursing. She was glad she put the barrier up for her wolves otherwise they might wake up to her screaming at this time.

She didn't know how long she stayed inside of it for but she felt a chill so she came right out and dried up her body and hair.

Heck! Her face still had a scowl as she walked back towards the sleeping spot. She found that both wolves were sleeping soundly so she also went to cuddle with Helix.

"Achoo! Achoo! Achoo!" Ivan sneezed so many time today. He wondered if he was getting sick and caught a fever.

"Do you need a Doctor? You sound like you have a bad cold." Lance said as he continued organizing the papers before him.

"It fine. Anyway did you find out what magic was used at the attack?"

He flipped the papers in his hand while waiting for Lance to speak about the details in incident that happened.

"We found trances of both fire and wood magic being used and also detonation magic. We also found smashed crystals and right now we sent them to Lord Alford for further inspection. If I'm not wrong they might be teleporting crystals but the details about them can only be confirmed afterwards.

Puppet magic and dark magic was also found. As you said your were attacked by a group of puppets and the piece you brought over was enough proof but the dark magic... are you sure dark magic was used?"

"Ya, I'm positive. Originally you remembered why were in this town right?"

Of course he knew. They were actually trying to find one of the organizations core members. Though many deep crimes were in the organization none of the kingdoms ever tried to suppress it. Now it's gone out of control and so they were tasked to take care of it.

All because of their annoying Duke. He wanted to shed tears but none came out, since the man was standing right before him.

'Can't he just cry invisible tears?' He thought.

"I heard that the witch council will be held soon."

Lance switched up topics.

"Oh? Why is it being held 2 months early? I thought it was usually scheduled in fall season."

"Apparently the princess of the witches is returning home. I'm pretty sure that the queen is passing down her rights to her daughter this time around." He then pulled out a purple letter from one of the many piles.

It had a hyacinth wax seal that the Queen used and also a bit of magic.

"It's definitely her's. Open it and read it." Ivan said in interest.

"Greetings Your Majesty of the Golden Dragon,

Prince Ivan De Knight Constantine.

You have be invited to attend the witch council by her majesty Odette Silver. To show graciousness for helping me, I'll help you in curing your friends illness." Lance looked visibly shocked by the words and he looked up at Ivan with joy.

Ivan also had a smile come in his lips as he said to Lance, "Well it came faster than I expected. Guess after we clean up things here, our next destination would be the Witch Forest. You can inform Travis and Marcus about it."

"Let finish up everything in two days." He said and Lance rushed out of the room right away.
