65 Why Didn’t You Say Anything?

A blank expression appeared on his face as he watched Angelica try and catch her breath and surprise her pain.

How come she didn't say anything about it?

Grantee that he might not be that trustable, but was this something to hide in the first place? Even so, why?

"Why didn't you say anything? That you were in pain? What about the poison? Weren't you cured already? What happened?" He fired one by one but the answer he wanted didn't come making his jaw harden.

"Princess Silver" He called out.

Angelica felt a chill down her spine and she quickly looked to the blank face beside her. She don't know why but she felt nervous all of a sudden by his expression. She would rather see his all time smiling mischievous face than this one.

It was scary.

"You should answer the question. I have many way to find out. But this one is preferable right now." He bluntly said.

Angelica blue eyes flickered with many emotions but one of them was clear as day. Hesitation and trust. They don't have that and he bet that she only saw him as a offical or even as a duty on her hand. It made him helpless and frustrated since she wasn't even giving him a chance. A chance to improve the gap by even an inch.

It made him uncomfortable and he knew he had something in his heart for her but he didn't put a label on it yet. But he had feeling that he wanted nothing more than having her heart.

That's why he need this dense and adorable witch to understand that he was a man with desire and hidden feeling for her.

"Answer, Princess." He reached out his hand and picked up the strands of hair that fell over her shoulder and twirled it, with his finger. His golden eye locked into her blue ones. The heat in those eyes not only bother her but made her heart jump faster.

The husky tone and serious expression startled Angelica. More like it shock something within her but what, she didn't know.

"W-What?" She stuttered.

"I said answer. Or do you want me to do it another way?" He whispered closer to her face and saw the flicker of caution.

"Hmm? What do you say? Will you tell me what happened?" He continued pressing on.

Angelica moves her head back from his face and tried to think of something's that would satisfy this man inquiry.

"..nothing else... the poison was long cured.." she answered.

Narrowing his eyes and nodded, "Hmm..continue. I know there's more."

"....and..." she stopped and his displeasure was seen. His patience snapped.

"Okay will do it the other way." Ivan grabbed her arm and waist and switched spots with her making her sit right in his lap while he sat into on the couch. He trapped her waist with his arms and grabbed her hands in the other.

"Seal and Close." He mumbled.

Angelica who tried to use her magic to get out was left dumbfounded as her powers didn't work. She snapped her fingers and even spoke but nothing work.

'No way.. did he do this?'

She tried moving but this man wouldn't let go making her flustered and even mad. "What the hell are you doing?!?" Angelica yelled and notice that there was a barrier.

Shocked by magic she stopped her struggling and looked at him seriously.

"What are you doing? Why are you doing this?" She questioned.

"I want answers. That's why I'm doing this. So tell me, should I go further than this or will you answer me."

Angelica gulped her saliva and tried to free her hand but he didn't let go.

"Let go." Angelica moved her body to here her hand back.

"Princess... don't you understand what situation you are in?" Ivan asked.

This woman.. did she really not get that he will not let go at this point. Especially when she looked like this. He paused his thoughts of getting ahead of himself but he won't let this go without showing her what he really is.

His hands on his waist started moving down towards her legs and it seemed she noticed it as she tried to get up and struggled when yelling at him.

"Stop Ivan! Stop! Stop! Okay you win!" And he stopped.

He let go of her hand but didn't move his hands away from her waist. He won't let her runaway.

"It's a side affect.. I don't now how long it will last but it only causes pain for few minutes before going away. That's it." She said quickly.

"Why didn't you say anything?"

"Because it wasn't something to tell anyone about? Anyway what would they do if they know? Worry? I don't need that-"

"You do need that!! Hell! Don't ever say you don't need a person care. You understand?" He said strictly leaving her surprise and absentminded.

"Don't care about me... I'm a broke person... I'm a killer who broke others and myself... I also bring trouble to many... I'm a person who doesn't understand what love is like since I always destroy it... so don't care about me..." she said in an lonely and painful tone.

Ivan brought her into his arms and hide her face into in his chest so she can hear his beating heart.

"If your broken then I'll fix you. Don't say your a killer when you might have a reason for it. You don't bring troubles to yourself. And love... I'll teach it to you patiently and no one will be able to break it."
