Vander took the crystal and placed it on his desk that survived his earlier onslaught in the office. He touch the crystal using his magic and surprise. A face that disappeared for long appear once again smiling like she did in the past.
'Oh my! What a pleasant surprise- my foot you damn brat!' Angelica's voice and face were show on the image.
'You damn brats! Both you and Cathal! You couldn't even swallow your pride and call me! Is your teacher that useless!?? Arghh!!! Don't even get started with Felix as I already gave him a bashing, but you? Vander I honestly thought you were more mature than this? Where's that logically brain of your? Is it just for show?' She asked through the recording.
Vander could only gulp and quietly listen to his teachers heartaches.
'What will I do with you? Should I throw you three into the Magna Zone!! Ah I feel so frustrated!! Anyway I'll keep my complaining for another time. Listen up short brat!'
Lance almost laughed red at her words. He looked at Vander who was patiently listening and truly did wondered how she tamedx all theses men around her.
'This is the day before Cathal will go missing tomorrow. I have seven there curses so don't act smart with me. I will be taking him.' She grinned and continued "Lance over there will be helping you so don't you dare deal with the nobles with a hot head. Lance will be your helper along with whatever trusted men you have. You don't have to listen to me fully, but listen to his part of the story. It will help you understand and also find the culprit in the crowd. Anyway I have to go! I would love to see your face after so long but I'm so busy. Take care of yourselves!' The call was then cut off.
Vander looked at Lance in shock. But what bothered him the most was the last words she said.
'don't tell me...' his thoughts were all bad and he looked at Lance.
"Where are they now?"
Lance answered truthfully since the expression Vander had said that he will compromise with them. "An underground cell. Located somewhere on the Duke's territories." He saw Vander raised his brow questioningly. Of it must be because if his answer and why he didn't tell him truthfully.
"Princess Angelica said to not tell you anything, since she expected that you would come there the second you heard it. So she don't even tell me." Lance innocently explained not caring if he lied. And he did.
"If that's what teacher said. How long will it take for them to come here? Do know how much of a mess I'm in? All because of you guys?" Vander said.
Lance shrugged his shoulders in response and Vander attention soon shifted to the child that came with Vander.
"He's your son?" He asked once more.
Lance's brow twitched and then looked at the mischievous wolf that was having fun being him such a hard time.
"No. He's the Princess's companion." Lance said and Vander looked at the kid who waved at him.
He jumped out of Lance's arms and introduced himself.
"Hello, I'm Helix." And then studied Vander who also looked at him curiously. But he didn't say anything else. Talking wasn't his thing but he was interested in this man.
"It's my teacher's kid?" Vander asked and Lance let out a series of coughs. When will this topic end?
If it's not his kid, then is the Princess's? Are you trying to kill me? He first thought about what the Duke will do if he found out something like this. Would he massacre Vander? He pinched the space between his brows.
'It gonna be along night...' he thought.

- 3 Days Later -
Cathal and Ivan had appeared at the palace together causing a storm. It definitely shook the nobles since they never wanted this cunning Ling back but alas. He made a splendid come back.
Cathal looked very thin compared to his usually self, but his aura wasn't any less intimidating as he watched the nobles bow down to him.
Ivan was casually smiling by his side as if he didn't notice them but he did lock eyes with a certain someone and was certainly having fun causing problems for him.
The Old Duke Hethburn, was fuming seeing the young man smile at him innocently. If only he didn't come back his plans would have been set in motion. But now it was completely impossible for that to happen with the King back! Damn it!
He wanted to cough out blood seeing this smug brat but his pride wouldn't let him.
Cathal yawned casually and he wasn't faking it. Right now he wanted nothing more than to rest but he couldn't right now due to this mess.
"Let's just cut it short. The enemy was slain and I was saved by Duke Constantine. And I also recovered from my illness. So please do take care of me while I recover and work." He smiled.
If anyone were to translate that, Cathal meant that he was still alive and kicking so of course e will continue to rule. He had also given credit to Duke Constantine. But what puzzled them was how he was healed suddenly.
Just how does one recover so fast? Especially when he was bedridden after so long. They truly wondered.
"Leave, I need to rest." Cathal dismissed them and started heading towards the study that had piles of paper work resting inside.
Ivan decided to head back to check on the still unconscious Angelica while he needed clean up some stuff around here and there. Duties of a king were troublesome.
Cathal stopped near his office and saw a man rushing over.
"Your Majesty, if I may." The person who spoke was Count Valdespino. He focuses on magic research and rarely ever asks anything during these palace talk decisions. He had specifically came to see his Majesty.
But he was also one of the doctors who come to look at the conditions while that were cursed. He was genuinely curious as to who healed him and wonder if he could share his thoughts with the said person.
"Who was the doctor who healed you? I'm truly interested on how such a complex magic become healed." He said.
Cathal sighed, "You shall see her soon. Anyway I have many important papers to complete. We shall talk later Count Valdespino."
Count Valdespino hid his disappointment but still bowed and went back.

He raced back home on his horse. The journey was quite long as his mansion was located on the north side of the while the Palace was near the South-west. It had taken him 2 hours before coming to a complete stop at his Mansion in the capital.
Ivan hopped off his horse and paced right into his home and saw the Butler come greet him as usual.
"Greetings My Lord. Shall you have dinner in the office or at the dinning hall?"
"Office. Is the Princess awake?"
"The Princess has yet to wake up. The doctor said it's because she exhausted her body to its limits so she might sleep for 5 days to make up for the lack of magic and fatigue." The Butler said.
Ivan sighed and have his coat to the Butler and went upstairs to where the Princess was resting at.
