He looked at the 4 people he left on standby near the Princess's room. He stopped right at the door and dismissed them and walked inside. Carefully closing the door he looked towards the bed.
With light steps he headed towards the bed that was covered in laced curtains and slowly moved them to the side to looked at the resting beauty who was still in deep sleep. He sighed in relief and sat on the edge of the bed judging staring at her face.
So peaceful and nothing would bother her. He was also a bit sad since he doesn't get the chance to tease the Princess. His hands moved to touch her silver hair that was tanned out on the bed. He played with the tips and started talking to the unconscious Angelica.
"Princess you've missed a lot." He paused and then spoke again, "it's been three days now and you've missed many thrilling things that happens in the palace. I guess you would have laughed if you saw it and probably add one or more insults to the nobles there."
It was indeed in her character to mock dumb people. Even he does the same.
"Your students are anxious to meet you, yet here I keep you locked up in a room and forbid them to come and see you. I'm quite evil, aren't I?" He laughed remembering Felix and Cathal space out a few days ago due to 'that'. It amused him and annoyed him as much since they all wanted her to rest at the palace and not his mansion.
'Those annoying brats.' He thought.
"But just so you know, I'm only nice to you. I don't mind being evil to those kids. They deserve it. Ah another interesting thing. Travis. I heard that you to share blood ties. Isn't the world so small?" He said when he caught the man looking at the closed door of her bedroom.
"When will you wake up? I bet you will probably runaway once you do. But that's such a shame. I can't let you go now that you've done this to me." He shamelessly said.
'Ivan what the hell are you doing?' He thought and touch his forehead.
It was hard to cover up the grin on his face so he let it be.
"Angelica wake up soon. I'm not a shy person and I will definitely make you understand love. So please wake up soon." He got up and kissed her forehead and slowly walked out of the room.
But his wish for her to wake up never came.

- 2 Week Later -
Ivan glared at the doctors with fury. It had been 2 weeks yet the Princess had yet to wake up. It made him sick with worry and he couldn't do anything about it.
"Why isn't she awake yet?!" He yelled at the incompetent doctors.
He was to worried about Angelica to care about anything. It's been 2 weeks of her laying in bed without any signs of waking up. He worried about her and called many doctors who told him the same thing over and over again.
Built up fatigue and overuse of magic, needing rest.
But hasn't it been to long? It had been very strange and it made him concern. He felt in his gut that something was wrong but he didn't know what.
He dismissed the maids and doctors and slumped on the chair near her bed. He held her cold hand in his warm one and worriedly rubbed it hoping it would warm her hand.
"Angelica... please wake up. Why aren't you waking up? I feel helpless. Please wake up. I don't know what to do. Please help me." He held her palm to his lips and kissed it tenderly.
But his begging and pleading weren't heard as she continued her deep rest. Ivan sighed in defeat and stayed in her room for the night.
He felt uneasy and would always look at the sleeping figure at the bed while he worked on a spare desk in the room. He felt tired and worried, making him not get any proper sleep for the past week.
He nodded off on top of his desk, while his heart hoping that the next day he would see the princess awake.

Angelica found herself deep within her memories of the past. She remembered her curiosity towards humans and if anything Stacie was an interesting human to her. It was like a dream and she was just relishing in that moment.
Angelica laidback on the tree and rested. She had her eyes close and was just enjoying the cool breeze.
"Hey you!!" She heard a yell but ignored it.
"Hey you! On the tree! Look down!" Angelica opened her eyes in annoyance and looked down to see a terrifying sight. She gasped and her eyes looked around with terror.
A bloody grass hill full of bodies. Limbs all over the place and she clenched her head seeing the sight.
They were all people she knew. Her friends, family and the person who killed them.
It was her.
All dead, friend and enemy alike. She gasped and tried to calm herself down. Closing her eyes with her hands, she hoped that was all a dream.
"Haha! Why are you closing your eyes?" She said.
She felt hands grabbed her face and pulled away her hands and she saw the crazy person in front of her.
"You did this!! Your a killer!!! Nothing befitting of a witch!!" She said.
Angelica furiously shook her head and yelled.
"It's not me!!! It's not me!!! I didn't kill them!!!" But the person only laughed and point to the ground.
"Then why are you holding her head?" A happy smile graced on her face.
Angelica felt a shudder down her spine and she found that her hand was indeed holding something. She looked down and saw the head of someone she didn't and never.
"S-Stacie..." she looked at the bloody head and then dropped it making it roll of the ground. She fell on her knees and stared at the head defeatedly.
"Say... why don't you give in to your blood and finally be apart of me?" The person whispered and in her ears.
Angelica snapped from her thoughts when she heard a voice in her deep darkness. It was like the voices in her head were just bad dreams and she could only focus on that begging voice.
"Please wake up... Angelica.. Please wake up... I don't know what to do. Please help me..."
It was a voice she knew all to well. She had never heard Ivan in such a tone of speech.
Why did it seem that it was crying? Why would he being crying and pleading for her? She wanted to wake up and ask him why.
"Why?" She mumbled. Why did you even bother with me? She felt like crying and so she did.
Tears of sadness, confusion and the hidden secrets that she hoped stayed inside her heart forever.
Angelica closed her eyes and found herself slowly opening them again to a painted ceiling. If she remembered it right, then this was the room she rested in when she stayed at the Duke's mansion.
Slowly raising her body she looked around and tried to see through the veil but it looked like she had to get up.
She stepped out of bed and found her strength to be a little weak, so she just sat on the edge. Just how long did she sleep? Frowning she opened the curtain and found herself staring at the sleeping man who was in the desk.
"Ivan?" She whispered in confusion.
But it seems her little call woke up the sleeping man who looked to be on high alert. He stared at the bed with shock and got up right away. Literally running before stopping right in front of her.
She smiled softly and pointed to the water beside the table and he swiftly grabbed it and gave it to her to hold.
But she underestimated herself and the cup slipped out of her hand and fell. Luckily Ivan caught it.
She watched with surprised eyes as he drank the water and then came and kissed her. She gulped the water down, "Ivan?" Surprised by his actions.
But he didn't listened and gave her another kiss making her flustered and not knowing what to do.
