As soon as Jasmine closed the door, the illusion wore off and the image of herself cleaning beside Arthur vanished. But the man was too busy picking up the vase and books on the ground to notice.

She slowly walked to him, picking up the overturned table and putting it back in place.

"Arthur?"

"Yes?" he asked, not looking up.

"I still don't trust you very much." She said, picking a cloth up and putting it on top of the table.

"I don't trust you either." He said, taking the stack of books back to the bookshelf. "So it is even."

"Why do you not trust me?" She asked, arranging the papers from the floor onto the table.

"You are with the princess. The last time I saw you, you were in the bottomless pit." He said, putting the books pack in the shelf. "How did you get out anyway?"

"I climbed." She said pleasantly. "And I was only in the pit because of someone."
