'KJ I've known you for many years, but you've never had humour this terrible before." Kabal said as he remained straight-faced.
KJ looked him in the eyes as he began to get up from his chair and walk to the window. "Kabal my good friend. The world is too vast for us not to explore it. I promise I will rule this world, but it'll be much easier with you by my side.
Kabal was flattered. "Of course, once a brother always a brother. If you need me, I'll be there, you should know this." Kabal had a slight Russian accent. "how do you think we should begin; this is a large task. Many never complete it even in their lifetimes, their families grow in power in hopes of doing it in the future one day."
KJ: Kabal even though we are mere mortals in a mythical world there is still hope. The era of the Gods residing on this planet has only met its end 16 years ago. Even though they are gone, some of them have left legacies and holy items, through these items you can gain unimaginable power.
KJ dusted his robes off as he went to lay in his bed. "Kabal we can talk about the rest of this tomorrow; I need some time to think."
"I'll be taking my leave" …. CLICK and with that Kabal left KJ in his room.
KJ thought about his next steps, the first thing he needed to find out is where he was going next. He reached for an old leather book sitting on a wooden shelf in his room. He dusted it off and in an old and archaic language read "Map of the World."
KJ opened the ancient book, the pages were folded in various patters within the confines of the book. He took his time carefully and meticulously unfolding the paper until it was about 4 feet wide and 3 feet long
The map had 4 massive continents connected in a rough "U" shape and they were all surrounded by water. In the center of the continents in the water were various island size plots of land. This map didn't have nearly as much information as KJ had. He reached for a pristine white feather and dipped the end in ink, he began filling in any missing details he could think of.
The islands floating in the water were named the Adorellian Forests. These forests were filled with luscious thriving nature. Everything was super colourful and the plants were a healthy shade of green. These forests are home to the Elves, the Forest is also named after the Elven King. These islands are also home to dryads, nymphs, and also other nature spirits.
The U shape is upside down on the map and the rightmost continent is called The Golden Continent. This continent seems to be the most civilized, it seems to lack confrontation and seems to be the most advanced. Humans can be found throughout the four continents, but all the continents have dominant characteristics. The Golden Continent is said to have been the dwelling of the "Good" Gods. Their element was light, but this element was too powerful for the humans to wield so it was broken down into simpler elements. Humans of this continent can cultivate wind and water. The Golden Continent have mermaids and mermen. The continent also has demi-gods which are offspring left over by the Gods.
The continent to the left of The Golden Continent is The Scorched Continent, this continent was also harbouring "Good Gods". The humans living on the Scorched Continent have adapted to the intense heat, through this they have gained the ability to cultivate fire. Humans can also cultivate the Earth attribute on The Scorching Continent. The Scorching Continent has demi-gods as well and they also have pure wisps of light. These wisps of light can choose to communicate with travelers, and they can be a great help. This continent also has "light people" these people increase all of their attributes and senses when the sun is up, however, once it goes down their abilities drop down to that of a normal human. Regarding the Earth attribute, there are various types of golems roaming the continent.
To the left of the Scorching Continent is the Alazar Kingdom. Humans on this land cultivate Blood and Poison. This continent was the home of the "Devils" or "Evil Gods." The Evil Gods were those who cultivated darkness and as such the continents will have attributes similar to darkness. There are also creatures which are neither vampire nor human but something in between. We call these beasts shadow dwellers. Don't confuse these with night walkers, Night Walkers grow in strength when the moon is up, they are the opposite of the Light People.
The last continent which is leftmost is the strangest. This continent is enshrouded by a thick layer of mist/fog. No one has had contact from this continent and it is a complete mystery, however, the continent was explored in the future and this information is in KJ's hands. This mysterious land was very dark and decrepit, it oozed darkness and as you can guess was the home of some devilish Gods. The humans on the other continents practice inner cultivation, they are known as cultivators. However, the humans in the Xiaozoni Wildlands cultivate externally. They are known as mages because what they wield is referred to as magic. However, mages from this continent strictly wield Curse Magic, Buff Magic, and Dream Magic. There are demi-gods and there are also Ghosts riddles throughout the wildlands. In these lands, there are also lesser demons that survived by hiding from the war. You can also find many creatures like Gargoyles and Goblins.
Each continent is riddled with beasts pertaining to an element or attribute of that continent.
KJ fell asleep over the map as he continued to think of his plans. At this moment he was just a plain old mortal, the first thing he must require is sufficient power, at least enough power to put him above mortal affairs.
He wracked his brain until he found the perfect solution. He didn't want to make any mistakes now that he was given such a head start.
Hmmmmm, so the first thing I need is power huh, so the one thing I thought I'd never lack. There is a place I'm sure no one has found yet and I know exactly what I want. It might be too dangerous at this point, should I really try to..... cultivate lightning?
