Old Man Taihe

The owner of the shop was named Taihe and his shop was called, "Taihe's Art."

He was a Sea Dweller as well. He looked to be tall in the past, but his back developed a kind of slouch that made him appear like a grumpy old man. His face could be described as grumpy as it did give off a mad vibe. His old eyes weren't too interested in many things and he often kept them closed. He was wearing light brown, ragged robes. His skin was yellowish, and he looked a bit sickly.

KJ walked over to the same shelf and picked up a few things. He moved it around and looked all around it, appreciating the details. However, to others and especially the less knowledgeable, he appeared as if he was trying to figure out what it was.

The man from before tried to make light of his previous blunder, "Don't even waste your time guessing what these scraps are, it's not like that old senile man will give you any help."

KJ replied nonchalantly, "No need to ask for any help, I'm just appreciating the art."

KJ turned to Taihe as he lifted up a few things. "Hello, I was wondering how much I could get these flying daggers for?"

Taihe's eyes lit up, "Finally someone who knows what they're talking about. Those daggers have been with me since as long as I remember." He went to scratch his chin, "Hm, give me an offer, if I like it, it's yours!"

KJ reached for the pouch of coins. The weird thing was that instead of reaching inside the pouch he lifted the entire thing up and dropped it onto the desk. "I don't have much, but I know even one of those daggers is worth more than all of the coins that I or the other man in this room can offer."

The other man gave a hateful look to KJ, "If you're poor that's on you, don't try to lump me in together with you. Who do you think I am?"

KJ, "Chill I didn't mean it in a bad way, that item is just way too valuable."

The other man smirked, "Then keep it to yourself." As the man was walking, he dropped a few items off of the shelves on purpouse.

KJ let out a remark as the man was leaving, "You don't have to act like a little ass kid."

The man heard this as he turned around and walked straight to KJ, face to face basically inches apart. He was one of those types of people that fought or got into arguments because he enjoyed doing it.

He's going around and making other people feel like shit, these types of people are mostly unhappy in their own lives. Also, another reason. He may be doing this because he has never been put in his place, there hasn't been anyone who has made him shut his mouth and act obedient. Maybe I should step in this once. KJ thought to himself.

The man had a superior disdaining look in his eyes as he looked at KJ. The man was obviously taller and looked to have a larger burlier body. The man grinned and spoke through his teeth, "Why don't you say that to my face, cat got your tongue?? Do something unless you're too scared, why aren't you saying anything huh?? Probably pissing your pants little boy, run home to mommy." The man turned to leave after KJ didn't say a word back. During the whole one-sided conversation, KJ just looked at the man with a deadpan stare.

Once the man turned to step away KJ's voice sounded in his left ear. "Oh, you're leaving already… what happened to your hatred, what happened to your anger and aggression?"

As KJ said this the man's eyes instantly shrunk, not because he was feeling bloodlust, not because he was feeling any spiritual pressure or anything mystical. His eyes shrunk because KJ's voice was emotionless and flat, there was no hate in KJ's heart and that is why he was afraid. Hate can be born and exhausted, an opponent without hate is like a car running for as long as it wants to. KJ isn't going to attack because of something in his heart, he is attacking because of who the other person is, he is attacking to teach a lesson, a beneficial one. As long as that lesson is not learned, the beatings will presume.

As the man's eyes shrunk KJ pulled his face away from his ear and simultaneously placed his right hand on the man's right shoulder. He dug his nails down into the main and his fingers actually started plunging into his skin as blood streamed down. The man wanted to scream out but it was too late.

As soon as KJ sunk his fingers in he tripped the man, taking his legs out from beneath him and knocking him off balance. As he did this, he threw the man into a bunch of stones piled up in the corner of the shop.

KJ stopped attacking right away and turned to Taihe as he cupped his fist. "My apologies for causing any trouble." KJ was about to leave the store, completely forgetting about buying those daggers.

However, before he left a broken and slightly enthusiastic voice rang out, it was the man on the floor laying in the rubble. "Don't think to yourself that you're someone high and mighty for injuring me. Don't kid yourself kid, it was a sneak attack and lacked even the smallest shred of honour. How can you call yourself a man when you're so clearly running away, come back here and face me if you dare? I admit you are strong, but I was only caught off guard."

Taihe: Old grumpy looking man that is the owner of Taihe's Art. It appears that he used to be tall but now he has a curved back making him much shorter.
