Dark Star Daggers

KJ: Damn straight to the point you gonna do me like that?

Kabal: You know it! So…?

KJ: Would you believe me if I said I traveled into the future? Would you believe me if I said that I went into the future and saw a world where I was king? I lived and saw many things, that is why I know where things are, and I know why some things may transpire. That's why I seem to know about things I should have never known of. Although we haven't learned martial arts to a high point I could still quickly dispatch that soldier. I shouldn't have any of these capabilities, but I do, and I will continue to have them. In the future, I happened to become versed in martial arts as I have used them now. How could any of this be possible if I never traveled into the future? How could I know so many things about it? This is the only obvious outcome. It may seem farfetched, but it is an answer

Kabal: Indeed, it is an answer. But is it the right answer though…? I know you like to joke around and play games a lot. I don't know if that whole speech was another joke or the truth

KJ laid back with his hand behind his head. "I'll give you a bit of info...…. I never went to the future."

And with that KJ switched the conversation. It's not like he didn't want Kabal knowing he came from the past. It was just that he knew Kabal was smart enough to figure out the truth, maybe not all of it but he would learn the smaller bits and pieces over time.

Kabal thought about it for a bit and he seemed to realize something, but he decided to keep the thought for later.

THUNK THUNK THUNK THUNK THUNK THUNK THUNK

With each thunk another dagger hit the table and settled down.

Kabal: Were any of these flying daggers even worth the hassle we went through or are they actually duds

KJ wiped down the daggers, dusting them off completely and then lining each of them up. "I know these daggers may not look like anything special. However, I am almost one hundred percent sure that I have seen these in the past, that could be the future but currently, it is technically my past. Although these daggers don't look like much and don't carry any aura they can't be underestimated."

Kabal: These pitch-black daggers look frighteningly menacing. They seem to be rather dull though, that's why I was curious

KJ placed his hands upon the daggers and traced their archaic grooves. "The grooves that were intentionally made on each of the daggers are different." Some of the grooves linked into beautiful patterns.

"They are different because each dagger has a different ability. Together these are called the Dark Star Daggers. Each of the daggers appears to be the same but if enough energy is injected into them, they will transform. But the transformations are something that I was not aware of in my past. Taihe was also someone I had never met before. The only reason I knew about these daggers was because I read scrolls that listed its name. The scroll went more or less like this…"

The Dark Star Daggers. A set of 7 daggers each with their own special abilities. The creator of the daggers is unknown however the wielder isn't. Neka, the Goddess of the Afterlife. The Dark Star Daggers made their supposedly first debut in the hands of Neka. She was ostracized and hated by a group of people and because of this, she was hunted. She only had two choices, hunt or be hunted. She disappeared for quite some time and upon her return, the daggers were seen with her. The 7 daggers floated around her as the blades pointed towards her. The daggers looked as if they were filled with death itself, they emitted a dark aura and it was seemingly pouring out of the weapons that were slowly moving around her. The daggers are capable of pinning down Gods themselves and they can even manage to kill Gods if enough time is given. The whereabouts of the divine weapons are unknown. They were thought to have disappeared alongside Neka in the Great War between races.

"But these scrolls might just be made up or it might have discrepancies so don't take it too seriously. Either we got junk or a pinnacle weapon, either way, it was free."

KJ started packing the daggers away, "Right now both of us don't have any spiritual energy at all. Even if we wanted to use the daggers, we would have to reach a much higher level if the rumours are true. That reminds me, we should be seeing King Alfin soon. I'll start training under him if everything goes as planned."

Kabal was getting ready to leave the kitchen and spoke up she put the bottle away. "What about me? If we really are going to rule the world, I'll need sufficient strength. This body won't cut it, especially with these monsters lurking around."

KJ finally put all the daggers away safely. "We will pay a visit to Alfin tomorrow. My training will most likely commence and transpire in and around the palace. It would be nice if you could train alongside me but what I'm going to be learning wouldn't suit you. I have something else I have planned for you in the near future, just prepare whatever you feel like you need to beforehand.

Kabal: What kind of training will I have to undergo

KJ: I don't know if you could call it training, but it will increase your abilities heavily
