First Test x Bet

In the building, one of the attendees led the two of them to an elevator. Going down to the top floor, they found a huge room full of people. Apparently most of the participants were already present.

The two moved to the side of the room, ignoring the other participants. They had to wait more than two hours for the last participant to arrive.

With the last arrival, through a secret door the examiner arrived. A tall man, about two meters, with very short hair, military style. Once everyone was silent, the examiner began to explain the test.

"My name is Surge, and I will be the examiner for the first test. As you are too many people, in this test half of the participants will be eliminated. The test is about a one on one combat, all kinds of weapons are allowed. There will be no penalty for the opponent's death. But if he surrenders, he must respect and stop attacking the rival. The winner will go to the second test, while the loser will have to wait until next year. When you hear your names, go up to the assigned platform. " - Surge explains.

Shakal and Machi were awaited their turn.

"Machi vs Slork" - appeared on a television along with the number of the platform they should go to.

"Good luck." Shakal said.

She only smiled at him in response and went straight to the platform.

Without further delay, Shakal was also summoned to attend one of the platforms. His opponent was a dark-skinned man named Abdul.

The two climbed on their respective sides of the platform. Leaving a few meters between them. The platforms were somewhat small so it forced the attack from the front. Abdul drew a small sword from his robes and prepared his position to attack.

Shakal, seeing his opponent draw his weapon, decided to use his dagger, purchased not long ago. The dagger was hanging from his belt, on the left side of the body. With a smooth movement, he grasped the dagger with his right hand.

Before starting to attack, I use Gyo to make sure that his opponent is not using nen. Apparently, Abdul had no knowledge of the aura, so Shakal decided to attack him head-on. Without further delay, using his great speed, he started running towards Abdul.

Abdul was surprised by his opponent's attack, but quickly overcame his fear and prepared to strike him with the sword.

"The faster you go, the easier I can hit you." - Abdul shouted swinging his sword.

Shakal upon seeing the movement of the sword. He decided to increase his speed even further. The sword hit the air as Shakal was already behind his opponent.

With his right hand, he put the dagger to his side right next to his neck. Abdul noticing the cold steel on his neck, he quickly yelled.

"I give up!".

Shakal removed the dagger from his opponent's neck, and stepped off the stage to return to his original place. Machi was waiting for him outside of the plataform.

"How was your fight?" Shakal asked ironically.

Machi stared at him, ignoring him.

After a few more hours, all the participants who lost were exported outside the building, where a boat was waiting to take them back.

The examiner concluded the first test, since only half of the participants remained.

"Currently there are only three hundred participants so we will continue with the second test. The test will also be done on this island, the objective is to find one of the hundred wooden boxes hidden throughout the island. You only have five hours to find them. Once the time is up, only the people in possession of one of the hundred boxes will pass the test. The time begins now. "- Shout Surge.

Hearing the rules of the second test, all the participants began to run uncontrollably towards the exit. Only a few remained calm, and waited for everyone else to come out.

Once most of them left the room, both Shakal and Machi sat, leaning against the wall.

"If you like to work, it is much easier to take the box once someone finds it." –Said Shakal, while lying completely on the floor.

"I agree with you. Get up, you will get your clothes dirty. " Machi replied as she held out her hand to help him up.

Apart from the two of them, inside the room, there were still four other people. A short young man with orange hair, half short. He carried a small bow, next to his basket of arrows. Then in another small group of two, a very tall and extremely fat man. What stood out most about the man was his lack of clothing on his upper torso and the huge tattoo that represents the YingYang tattooed on his abdomen. The other who accompanied him was the opposite, a short man, with his body covered in white cloth.

Then, a little further from the two men, a woman was playing with a small doll. She seemed extremely focused on her wrist without paying any attention to her surroundings.

Finally, near the door sat a woman of medium height, long dark hair. He was playing on his phone, but every now and then he would look up at the others.

After two hours, Shakal and Machi bored of waiting, decided to go out and collect their box, and explore the island a bit.

The island was not too big, but there were several ruins, in addition to a forest. The two decided to go to the ruins, but before leaving. Shakal told him.

"How about we make a bet." Shakal said.

"What would you like to bet on?" - asked Machi.

"The first one to get a box and arrive again at the same place in the room will win. What if the loser will have to do whatever the winner says for one day? " Shakal said.
