Book 1:Chapter 24: The Scythe of Calamity
Swift Schwert look at the man who sneak attacked mad monkey calmly. And said "Are we gonna continue this? If yes come at me and do you best I don't mind killing a people or two, if not then screw off" He said smiling with a taunting face.
The man in the robe fumed in anger but like he said, if he did decided to fight for just a mortal isn't worth. He decided to flee back into their ranks with extreme caution.
But the moment he got back in the rank the leader of their army this expedition utter an order, but only a few seconds after their aura burst fort the strange phenomenon happened. If not shaking other kneeling. Then the Leader berated the soldiers but even tho he did that the soldiers just continue to shake.
He then looked at regal but before his line of sight land on regal he notice his surroundings change.
"Where am I? What is this place did the heaven fall?" Scared witless looking around. But when his line of sight landed on where regal was he started shaking involuntarily falling down to his butt.
"Imp... impossible, how does this kind of being exist!" He shouted madly like a madman. Of course the onlookers are stunned by what he said.
Take note the strong onlookers only sense and see the aura coming from Regal and his scythe, nothing else.
"Even you? What are shouting there like an idiot. What happening tell me now this is an order Dan!" The leader demanded.
So the cunning man that tried to sneak attack Mad monkey named Dan.
Waking up from his shaking stupor state when Dan heard the voice. Closing his eyes glancing where the voice came from.
Brother Tan! After seeing his leader calming his mind he closed his eyes and began to walk forward to their leader, apparently the enemy that Regal exchanged blows with named Tan.
He then arrive only a few seconds after deploying some strange skill that cover his foot with yellow sparkling aura, shaping like a small golden dragon streaking through arriving at Tan's side.
When he was about to speak he heard.
"Well are we gonna fight or not? I'm tired of waiting come at me." Regal taunted.
Then a sudden turn of events happened.

In some rift the surroundings of this rift is extremely large like a cave, but by the size of it is extremely bizarre, the cave itself looks small but seemingly the space inside it is distorted. There erect four monoliths with ancient runes engraved on it, wrapped around the monolith are chains, black and white chains with indeterminable length and size.
From outside if you will look at the rift there's nothing but the stone like cave that looks small, but looking specifically at the mysterious ancient monolith as if it's as tall like and heavenly pagoda.
"That aura, it can't be! It has appeared. Damn it!!! THIS SHAN'T BE ALLOWED! ARRRGH!" Struggled a man shouted his appearance is sharp, highlighting his sharp brows with eyes looking like a topaz with unfathomable power, his hair was disheveled but even so his pale white skin didn't hide that this man is handsome. But by looking only at him there by a single glance, his aura gloomy, sinister, pure evil. And his killing intent that can't be cultivated only acquired by killing others. His aura so thick that even millions of lives won't suffice to determine how many he killed.
"THAT SCYTHE THAT AURA SHALL BE MINE ARGGGH! THAT POWER ONLY I, GAUSS CAN WIELD!!! COME TO ME!" Struggling to break free from the chains binding him, the runes lit up the chain tightened. Each chain wrapping the monolith also wrapped around each of Gauss limb.
The chains then rotated around the monolith stretching for of his limb making him incapable of moving and his aura quickly dissipated.
But before he was totally binded he send a strand of aura somewhere a far up in the sky where the rift a large ball of black orb floated then shattered and scattered flying across the realm sending this message.
"I GAUSS SHALL RETURN SOON, MY CHILD FIND THAT AURA BRING THAT TO ME, FOR ANYONE THAT CAN CONTRIBUTE SHALL BE REWARDED WITH ANYTHING YOU DESIRE. NOW GO MY CHILDS." He murmured before the blinding monolith chains wrapped around him.
"After I free myself from this abominable chain I WILL DESCEND ONCE MORE WITH MY ARMY AND SLAUGHTER ALL OF THE THING THAT IS YOURS. I WILL FLAY YOUR DESCENDANTS ALIVE, NIGEL!!!" Gauss shouted hatred that seeped into his marrow.

The Tower of Demise.
Adam eyes was closed on a room full of books that looks like a library, except the library itself was extremely huge. Book neatly organized everywhere. Floating shelves around and he seated on his seat.
"So Gauss really is alive. But if he is where are you now old friend? Your son was chosen by the scythe, but still inexperience and soft. Are you sure leaving this burden to your son? Are tired of fighting endlessly? One day he will come there my friend." Adam looking melancholic at the distance he sighed then wave his hand.
At the same time Adam wave his hand and the tower shake.
On the first floor Regal and the rest.
The patch grassy field started to shake intensely.
All of them was alarmed and look around finding what caused it, but they found nothing.
At this moment a surge of Ruler Aura surge forth everyone in the area has the urge to kneel. Of course the weaker people kneeled.
Regal was the cause of this aura, or to be more precise the scythe! The Scythe of Calamity!
The scythe started trembling and floated above regal, of course at first he gripped it tight not allowing it to float above him but he found himself powerless to do so. The onlookers all suddenly noticed this phenomenon and look at the majestic scythe floating above.
Above Regal is the Scythe at this moment a ray of small orb that came out from the scythe. It's infact miniscule but it started to shine looking bright red orb, but for Regal what he's seeing is different. The jade pendant!

Ever since he awakened the system and transported to the void where the stone tablet that the jade fitted, he didn't know Where it is from that day onwards.
"The Jade pendant, what are you really? Who's my parent really, Everytime I'm in a crisis the system always helps me even now. All because of this Jade pendant." Regal murmured.
The Jade pendant that shine ever so brightly starting to ascend the higher it rose the more bright it become also the speed rises exponentially, the Scythe is still floating 20 meters above regal's head. Maintaining it's line with the orb.
"What is that? And that Scythe what is it really? That's some heaven defying treasure let's rob it from him after this." said a man from a group somewhere.
"Clearly that kid has many secrets around him, let's capture him and pry open all of his secrets."
"That man isn't simple this young master wants that scythe."
"Let's be friends and rob him when he trusted us after knowing his secret or background."
All sorts of same thought rose from the onlookers but apparently this thought aren't good.
"Who is this guy exactly He's your boss right?" Swift Schwert look over at Mad monkey and asked.
"Even I don't know him that well, all I knew is he's exploring this world and even he himself doesn't know who is his parents." Mad monkey replied but eyes still glued to Regal.
At some point the rotation speed the Jade pendant is so fast that as if it's not rotating, so high up in the heaven where no man nor beast can reach. But in truth it rotated so fast looking like ot stagnate. It's brilliant dimmed a black hole formed it grow bigger and bigger above forming into a blueish red Quasar.

Suddenly at this moment all of the rift connected to the tower of demised closed. The gate at the ground the inverted tower ascended, the once peaking above the clouds to ground ascended shrouded by a cloud with turmoils of the dark gray cloud. Forming into a sea of lightning. The gate on the ground and the tower also the rift all across the realm vanished this happened when Adam wave his hand, but Regal and the others on the first floor was oblivious to this.

Still looking at the phenomenon ahead of them some impatient people started to make a move at Regal. Of course Regal saw and knew this because of his perception.
"Hehehe kid that scythe is a treasure are you some young master of a big clan? No worries All your treasure is mine HEHEHEHE!" Said a brawny man with a hideous forehead stitches with a huge battle scar from his forehead all the way to his chin.
Holding a great the man charge forward Regal's location. Regal is prepared but he found himself unable to move a single inch!
When the onlookers saw this a lot of them did the same charge at Regal driven by greed.
"Squadron 1 shoot! Let get that scythe for ourself!" Said a group with an army their Archers then drew their bows various elemental arrow and skills pour out heading towards regal's location.
Some throw daggers some charge straight towards Regal driven by greed rationality had been taken over.
Some of course only watch, waiting for the chaos to subside before fishing out benefits.
"A pity he doesn't even had the chance to bloom, well blame himself for having a treasure" Said a young man.
"Nothing personal kid blame yourself for being weak. DIE!!!" said the brawny man who arrive and move first towards he slash his axe downward wanting to cleave regal in two.
Along with the barrage of arrows daggers, flying sword, mages spells heading towards him.
"Am I going to die like this? Not even knowing a thing about the world, not knowing all the mystery, not knowing my parents. I'm UNWILLING!!!" Regal struggled to move but he really can't do anything.
The brawny man's axe one meter away but he still can't move, even unwilling he can only watch the axe followed by a barrage of attack coming towards him.
Extremely unwilling but helpless, he didn't close his eyes he resent his self from being weak, he knew that even if he can move with so many enemy he would die and will get killed only because he possess a treasure. Blood shot eyes gritting his teeth so hard but his body is stuck like a statue.
