The archaic voice once again rang on my head.

I look around and still saw only the stretch void, black surroundings and only the desolate podium remains.

"I haven't done my quest yet why did you bring me here? I still have to finish the tower first right?" I asked with a confused expression.

[I SHALL GIVE THY GRACE FOR YOU HAVE HEEDED TOWARDS YOUR ULTIMATE GOAL, EVEN IF THE TOWER QUEST ISN'T COMPLETE. I SHALL GIVE THY REWARD]

"Reward? That's great even tho I didn't do the quest yet I'm getting a reward what a system."

I said full of enthusiasm while anticipating what item or power ups I'll get.

The surrounding space around me vibrated like and earthquake and shake that makes me dizzy.

Still standing on the vast darkness I tumbled down hitting my butt on the floor, while supporting my body I look upward and saw an item floating with a blinding light. a square shape book a thick book, the cover looks like it mades of red like kind of sheep skin or leather.

And at the middle of the book is some strange symbol that I never saw before.

It's like a clover symbol except the leaves looks like the edge of a sword cross, looking similar to the indicator of east west, north and south but also not quite. While the rest of the space of the covers are filled with strange glowing symbol.

'I bet never in my life will I see more ancient and mysterious looking book than this.'

With that a wooshing sound was heard then I regain my consciousness, holding the book that I gain as a reward.

Not realizing I'm so fixated staring at the book that I didn't notice my surroundings are misty.

Looking around noticing that I'm at the same place where I doze off.

And the wall still made by some smooth stone almost like a jade or comparable to a tile, but clearly the smooth tile lost it's luster like a once in a brilliant clothes that became worn down due to the passage of time.

"Where did this book came from? How is this even possible, doing quest getting stronger that archaic voice. That void and my heirloom just what are my parents identity?"

I thought I'm becoming closer to the truth I realized how naive I am. My journey just started if it wasn't for the ridiculous system.

'Yes, clearly there's no answer everything seems so mystical. How can I get strong by just adding stats? And why does my stats look way higher than the norm? And they're saying by worshiping a god will give me power. But I clear didn't do that.'

Trying to question myself and my very existence won't give me an answer.

'For now let me look at this book and what it does.'

'Crazy guy he slaughtered all those monsters alone, riding on a bus like this feels so good. Maybe following him is the right choice?'

Glancing at Regal makes me realize he's dozing off. 'To be able to sleep after a massacre too brazen, to top if it all of here at all place. It's not like it's your house.' I wanna yell that for some reason.

While staring at Regal I suddenly felt melancholic, is it because seeing him makes me resent the heaven for being unfair? Or is it me being sad about myself for not being strong, being lazy?.

Clenching my fist I started doing training just swinging the blade at the same direction, with increased precision and speed everytime. No matter what I'll surpass myself that's how it should be.

While in the midst of his training a slight tremor felt throughout the tower, no matter where inside the tower, the shaking isn't intense but for some reason that even the floor overlords became fearful except for Adam.

"My dear friend your son won't be safe anymore for it has begun. I' really hope your eternal wisdom is right to make this decision. For if not even you nor fate nor destiny can fix this." Adam sighed looking at the far distance with his golden eyes shining as if peering to the depths of the sky in the massive library with endless books to count.

Meanwhile at some part of the Mino's maze.

Swift Schwert and Mad monkey hunting. A creature that looks like a giant gorilla but with four arms and four red eyes.

"Mad Monkey did you feel the tremor? For some reason I find it mystifying." While looking at Mad monkey's direction fighting a four eyed monkey.

"YES I DO BUT CAN YOU PLEASE STOP GODDAMN BEING SO CHATTY AT THIS POINT!" While shouting and suddenly.

BANG!

Mad monkey was the only one fighting the monster while all the party members doing their own thing. Some eating fruit, other lazily sleeping. There's even someone playing a chess with someone, while Mad monkey fight the mobs and getting heals from time to time to avoid death.

"Well isn't it a nice weather today? Why don't you finish that so we can have a chat. Also for some reason this got something to do with your friend, it's rather odd that when I felt the tremor and the aura it makes me think that it's related to him." Swift Schwert said.

Mad monkey then stop for a second and made him think that for some reason he also felt it that way. But thinking of is clearly a luxury at this point.

BANG!

Mad monkey got hit by a punch of the Four eyed gorilla. But of course he didn't die because of the godly healer healing him almost back to non-existing damage.

"FUCK YOU DAMN GORILLA ARRHG!!!" Of course in turn made Mad monkey mad, his life is intact but the pain he felt still stung.

At some unknown part of the realm.

Inside a massive grotto that as big as a gladiator arena in size, at the floor where there a clear water encircling the center of the grotto which is a stone statue of a beast with a large body with two bat like wings covering his upper part till his knees. And on his forehead is man which can be describe as ferocious because of the menacing horn like a demon.

The eyes of the statue lit up red, and an aura that wash out the whole grotto where all the people and beast alike wearing robe kneel down.

"Oh our supreme one we adhere your summoning to do your bidding and spread your greatness once more to the world." The frail looking man covered with the robe prostrating at the floor.

And a sudden burst of aura leaks out from the statue that made everyone on that place tremble.

[MY LOYAL SERVANTS I HEREBY DECREED THAT YOU MUST SEEK THAY AURA THAT YOU FELT JUST NOW, WHOEVER CONTRIBUTES THE MOST WILL BE REWARDED BY MY GRACE OF A WISH THAT YOU DESIRE. NOW GO MAY DESTRUCTION BRING YOU PEACE.]

After speaking that piece the aura vanished.

"We adhere to the decree supreme one, we shall not disappoint and hereby follow." The man in front kowtowing offering the blood dripping from his forehead, and soon the other followers followed to do the action. And the blood got sucked in the statue.

"We shall start not fail our supreme one, you heard it. For who abide and contribute will het what he wants. Now go forth, may the destruction bring you peace."

"May destruction bring you peace!"

With them all bowing making weird gestures as a salute they vanished one by one into the darkness.

Still staring at the book Regal can't help but be mesmerized.

'What's so special about this book that it looks this way.'

Trying to open the book but it won't budge.

"WHAT THE!?" Using all of my strength I can't open the cover of the book. It's like it was made like that and not a book at all by not budging an inch.

But the weird thing even if the book is thin it's weightless. Like just holding a feather on his hands.

'Nothing make sense anymore, is this supposed to be a reward? I can't even open it.' Goddamn it. I said while being frustrated. I tried and tried and tried, nothing seems to work.

Looking left and right noticing only the misty walls and Mingyun is nowhere near.

Oh great he's not here.

I even tried trowing the book hoping that it'll give me some sort of reaction, even if it looks stupid but I still did. But it did react in a way that even my imagination can't take.

The book flew a few meters away from me, but before hitting the rock. It flew straight towards me back hitting my chest that feels like I've been hit by a boulder and made me curl up at the floor like a shrimp.

And after a few seconds of gasping I saw the book floating just above like staring at me in a mocking gaze.

'Maybe I'm going crazy or maybe I am already crazy and that's happening to me is a dream and I'm still at the forest with Long Tian.

But seemingly reading my thoughts that I'm the an open words. The floating book hit me again this time in the head so hard that it made me clutch my head in pain. Stopping me from my delusions.

'Is this supposed to be a reward or a punishment?' Wailing with no tears Regal seems to recent the system for the first time.
