Chapter 15 (The Bite)

"I can't believe we actually uhmm..." I groaned covering myself with his bed sheet watching him roam around in his room getting ready for the day.

After I asked him to tell me about Don, Ascelin just told me that I can just ask Don for the information and that he ain't telling me shit before smashing his lips onto mine. Everything left my mind and all my focus went to Ascelin. I thought Ascelin was just kissing me to shut me up, but when he didn't stop, I didn't stop him. When he lift me up and toss me on the bed, I still didn't stop him. When Ascelin got on top of me, flipping him and my shoes off before moving up my body to place his lips back on mine, I still didn't stop him. I didn't stop him at all and by the end of it, I'm glad I didn't.

"Was it to soon?" He asked buttoning up his sleeves walk towards the end of the bed.

"I can't answer that because for me it can be yes or no," I said crawling towards the edge of the bed wrapping my arms around his neck, the bed sheets still covered my body that was between us.

"Hmm, how so?" Ascelin said running his hands down my bare back causing chills to follow.

"I just meet you about a week ago and you were a stranger to me until a couple of days ago and yesterday from getting my memory back. So it might have been to soon because it only been a week since we met and it wasn't to soon because this is where we left off." I said pecking his lip, "but let just say I don't regret anything from last night." we kissed for a while before pulling away.

"Can I ask you a question?" I asked looking at his smooth neck.

"Yes."

"Can you bite me? I want to know how it feels," I said looking up at him, "what if you can break the spell and turn me back into a vampire."

"Rose, no, I can't..."

"Please..." I protest but then there was a knock at the door.

Damn it!

"Lord Ascelin! Zero & Zora is back," Violet said on the other side of the door, why did she have to ruin it, "they need to speak with you."

"I'll be right there, thank you!" Ascelin said pulling away from me and I frowned, "sorry, Love, but I must go."

"I don't remember you as a person who keeps secrets from me, Ascelin," I said glaring up at him.

"Rose, please..."

"No, if you don't want to tell the truth then this conversation is over," I said grabbing my shirt throwing it over me, "don't you have a meeting with the creeps to talk about something that probably involves me and I wouldn't know nothing about it."

"Right," He mumbled and I flipped him off before going into the bathroom. I don't see why he's keeping secrets that involve me from me, shouldn't I have the right to know and I'm not here for the, 'I'll tell you at the right time' shit. I deserve to know and I really just want to be a vampire again, I hate knowing that someone wants to kill me and I can't handle myself, but if I'm a vampire then I don't need six creeps trying to protect me.

I sighed, mad that after sleeping with Ascelin last night, we end up arguing the next morning. No one should have an argument after sex like that, just saying. Anyways if Ascelin wouldn't turn me into a vampire maybe someone else would.

"Jarmee," I smirked in thought, Ascelin will be mad, but I don't care. I should go ask Jarmee while Ascelin is talking to Zero and Zora. I quickly took a shower and cleaned up, changing into the clothes Ascelin set out for me before walking out of Ascelin room and skipped down the hall towards Jarmee's room.

"Knock, Knock!" I said knocking on his door and a few seconds later Jarmee opened his door shirtless, "oh hey!"

"What do I have the pleasure to see your beautiful face this morning?" Jarmee said opening the door wide enough to let me in and I smiled.

"Because I want to see your handsome face," I said going to his couch and took a sit, "I didn't know I'll get a bonus to see you shirtless."

"Girls flirt when they want something? What, Ascelin not good enough?" Jarmee smirked throwing the towel that was around his neck and toss it towards his closet.

"He was definitely good enough but that's not what I want," I said getting up and walk over to him, "I want you to bite me."

"Do you want Ascelin to kill me?" Jarmee said trying to pass me, but I put my hand on his chest to stop him. Jarmee look down at my hand and I can feel him trying to hold his composure, which made me smile knowing I got him, "why can't you ask him?"

"I did, twice, and he turned me don't," I said.

"Why that?" Jarmee said scratching his head.

"Because he's hiding something from me, but I want to know how it feels so I want you to bite me," I said wrapping my arms around his neck, and his arms wrapped around my waist automatically, "now will do the honors and sink your fangs into me?"

(Ascelin Office: Third POV)

Noelia isn't making things easy and it seems like hiding everything from her for her safety is back firing for Ascelin, but some of the things that she is asking can literally be a life or death situation for his Rose and Ascelin don't want to do that to her. He knows that if she's back into a vampire she'll be able to take care of herself, but in order to do that he has to do something that may kill her and he doesn't want her to know that. Her mother trust Ascelin to put everything in his hand and to protect her daughter from everyone but what about him because one wrong move then Rose can end up dying and Ascelin don't want that to happen. So for Rose, being a human and the less she knows the better.

"Is the job done?" Ascelin asked when he walked into his office.

"Yes, Lord, but we received some information as well," Zora said standing.

"And that is?" Ascelin said glancing over at Zero.

"Before we killed the last one, another vamp came to talk to him and apparently their boss, that order the killing of the parents, is name Kol. That name isn't familiar to us, but maybe you are familiar with that name." Zero said crossing his arms over his chest.

"Kol?" Ascelin said but no one came into his mind, "no.."

"I know a guy name Kol!" Violet said walking into the room and everyone turned to look at her, "back before you found me, I end up crossing path with him back in the big city. Very scary dude, actually kind of look like Noelia..."

"Are you calling Noelia scary?" Zora asked.

"I'm just saying she reminds me of him, but anyways, he was a strong vampire, almost killed me because I rejected him from joining him. He end up letting me go but told me that one day I will see his face again and when that day comes I'll be kneeling in front of him calling him Master." Violet said.

"Really?" Ascelin thought wondering who this Kol is and why he doesn't know about him. He order Noelia and her parents death, but he knows nothing about him and he been with them for the longest, so her parents couldn't have known a man named Kol, but it seems like he knows them. So now Ascelin have to protect Noelia from a guy he doesn't even know.

"If that the case then he knows that Noelia is alive and he want her dead," Zora said making Ascelin clinched his fist.

"I need to know everything about him, dig up everything about this Kol and whoever is under him," Ascelin ordered, "find him because it seems that we need to have a talk."

"Yes, Lord!" Zero and Zora said before leaving the office. Violet looked at Ascelin a little heartbroken knowing that him and Noelia spend the night together.

"You slept with her...a human..."

"Violet..."

"Why do you have to love a little human when I'm right in front of you." Violet said looking up at Ascelin.

"Violet please..." Ascelin started until he heard a muffled screamed from Rose, he quickly left the room leaving Violet to go see who is hurting his Rose.

(Rose POV)

"So what you say? Will you bite me?" I asked looking up at him.

"But Ascelin..."

"Don't worry, I wouldn't let him kill you, I promise." I said.

"Fine, I've been wanting a taste of your blood anyway," Jarmee said running his hands up my arms and unto my shoulders, I tilt my head showing him my neck and Jarmee lick his lips.

"Go ahead!" I said pulling him close to me. Jarmee moved down to my neck before piercing his fangs into me and for that first second all I felt was pain as I feel Jarmee drinking my blood.

"Ahh!" I muffled my scream with my hand not wanting Ascelin to hear, after a few seconds pass a feeling of pleasure replaced the pain. It seems like when it just started it was taking away from me and someone was tearing Jarmee off of me.

"You bastard!" Ascelin roared throwing Jarmee to the wall and was choking him.

"Ascelin let go of him!" I said moving him away from Jarmee.

"Fuck!" Jarmee gasped for breath on the ground.

"Are you ok?" I asked Jarmee who had my blood on his lips.

"I'm going to kill you!" Ascelin growled, but I got in between both of them.

"For what? Jarmee just did something that you wouldn't," I said holding my neck thinking about how good those few seconds felt when Jarmee bit me, "I asked him to do it so if you want to be mad at someone then it should be me."

"Rose, you just don't know how dangerous it is if you get bitten," Ascelin said glaring at Jarmee going over to pick Jarmee up and threw him against the wall, "you wasn't going to stop, wasn't you?"

"I...her blood is...couldn't" Jarmee said looking at me like he just stole my dog.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"He could have fucking killed you, Rose," Ascelin said throwing Jarmee across the room where Jarmee slam his back against his closet door before falling to the floor.

"Stop Ascelin," I cried going over to Jarmee, "calm down, please, or you're going to kill him."

"He knew not to touch what's mine and he could've killed you!" Ascelin yelled which made me cry harder making me feel bad. I didn't know that this will make Ascelin this mad.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry," I said hugging Jarmee to my chest, "I'm sorry, please stop hurting him, it's my fault."

"I didn't want to bite you because I didn't know if I'll be able to stop if I did," Ascelin said.

"Why couldn't you?" I asked.

"It's your blood," Jarmee mumbled looking up at me, I run my fingers through his hair as he whipped my blood from his mouth, "Ascelin wasn't lying when he says your special, the blood that runs through your veins isn't just regular human blood."

"Jarmee!" Ascelin warned.

"You're not really an mortal, aren't you?" Jarmee asked and my eyes widen in shock.
