Jenny came back with the food for her and Mason to eat while I ate my disgusting green jello. When everyone was done she asked Mason if he was ready to go, Mason said he wanted to stay with me. I was confused on my Mason would want to stay with me, but I agreed. Jenny called the nurse to bring in a bed for Mason, soon after the nurse was wheeling in a bed. After Jenny left he asked me if I really wanted him to stay, of course I wanted him to stay but i couldn't tell him that so i simply replied with "It's fine".
"That didn't answer my question" Mason said.
"Why not" I barked.
"It's a yes or no question" he said with fury in his eyes.
"Fine" I said while I was trying not to lose my cool.
"Do you really want me to stay here" he repeated his question.
"Yes of course I do" I said with certainty.
"Really" he said in a questioning voice.
"Yes" I said giving him a reassuring smile.
**6 days later**
It was finally time to get my stitches out, I could finally do stuff by myself. Mason had decided to stay with me the whole time while I was in the hospital. As soon as I walked out of the room where I got my stitches out Mason gave me a big hug. It wasn't any old friendly, brother and sister hug, it was more like a boyfriend and girlfriend hug. When he let go he told me that he had been waiting to do that for a long time, so I pulled him back in for another hug. We laughed and walked back to my room. I was happy that Mason decided that he would be staying the whole time with me while I'm in the hospital. He was actually better company than the TV to my surprise. Plus he brought some of my stuff from home that I've been wanting which is really nice of him, especially him bringing my phone charger and headphones, I had my phone but I couldn't do anything cuz it had died. Jenny would bring me and Mason dinner every night now that I was able to eat food other than green jello. She usually brought fast food, but sometimes she would make a meal, pack it up and bring it to us. Jenny was a pretty good cook, but fast food is also pretty good. Jenny would always eat pretty fast because she needed sleep, she had the early shift at work. Jenny was a waitress at the best restaurant in town, she promised to take me there after I got out of the hospital. Mason had been being really nice to me, it was probably just because I was in the hospital but it felt like there was more reasoning behind it. I mean when I was hungry you would run to the convenience store which was right down the street. That could be just because he was being nice, but when I was on my period he bought me pads from the convenient store, which must have been so awkward for him. He was really nice about it and to top it all off I didn't even ask him to go get them for me he just brought it to me. I was having really bad cramps that's how he figured it out. He will make a great boyfriend to some girl one day, sucks it just can't ever be me. He has been looking better than ever now that he was staying with me in the hospital. You would think he would look like a wreck, but now he was taking better care of himself. Better than usual, was it for me because we were staying in the same hospital room together. No it couldn't be that. Could it?
