"You are Carnia Valentine right?."

Ryan leaned his head forward with his right hand promped up his cheek, Ryan was not your typical shy, cute little boy in class atleast that was the vibes he has been giving to her but he looked more like the naughty type.

"Yes, why do you ask?."

Carnia looked indiffirent but inside of her head she was screaming hysterically, Ryan Willstenburg is one of the hidden trump cards she wanted to find in the Academy.

"Nothing."

In the past Carnia has never seen Ryan's face but she has heard rumors of him being the "White flower" of the Academy due to his unique charm and excellent power, he is also the favorite grandson of the director in the Academy.

They have never met each other because Carnia was in the Piolo class while Ryan went to the Ruth class, now that they have the same class and rank there is no doubt that they would get along, that was what Carnia thought when she met him 5 days ago.

"Hey, Carnia can I copy your notes?, I forgot to copy the last one", "Hey, Carnia after you finish writing can I copy your notes?." "Hey, Carnia can I borrow your pen I forgot mine."

Every single day she has been bombarded with these kinds of requests everyday, she has no way of declining his demand since it will also do her good if she accepts this small favor and that was.

"Carnia do you want to grab a snack in the cafeteria?."

Rina knocked on the door in the upper corner and yelled her name out loud for her to hear, she stood outside of the room and waited for Carnia to respond back.

"Sure."

Carnia packed her black sling bag and wrapped it around her shoulders, she climbed up the stairs, went outside the door and sailed off.

They were about to cross the skybride above when her name was suddenly called in thin air, A whispher perhaps, she stopped walking and tilted his body forward to where the anonymous caller's voice was heard.

She looked at the two ladies at the opposite side of them and decided to pry on them by sitting beside them atleast a meter away from them.

"I want to rest here in a moment."

Rina shrugged her shoulders and just followed her lead, whenever Carnia scooted a way from her she filled the gap between them and sat closer to her.

"So hey, wh-."

Rina did not even finish what she was saying when Carnia quickly set her pointing finger on her own lips and made a shush motion, closing her eyes in the process.

She sighed in response to Carnia and silently stared into the abyss, zoning out in boredom. Carnia continued to scoot closer to them until she could hear their voices more clearly.

"Hey, did you know? the rumors of Lady Carnia were all wrong."

Two female students sat down on one of the benches by the fountain, eating bread from the cafeteria next to the Vanity building.

"What do you mean by that?, what rumor.?."

"They said that Lady Carnia was evil and has a black heart."

Carnia's eyebrows scrunched up in a frown, this was her first time hearing that ridiculous statement.

"What is it not true?, one of the maids from the Valentine family confessed that she was beaten and treated as a animal by Lady Carnia."

"Of course it was fake!, have you seen how kind Lady Carnia is at the first place?."

"(It was true.)

Carnia remembered how a maid that hid inside the Valentine family for many years sent by the William household got caught spreading false rumors outside the mansion, In the end the maid was punished, she was cruelly beaten to her death.

The maid was also the same spy in the Kidnapping accident a few years back even now her parents have still no clue that the William family has been finding ways to drag the Valentine family down for many years and she has no way of telling them.

"I have not, you are classmates with the Lady why don't you 'TELL ME' the kindness she has done."

She sarcastically air quoted the tell me word and sneered, sipping down on the straw on her apple juice.

Carnia really found it odd on how many modern stuff in the other world can be found here, straws, the word cafeteria even vending machines can be seen in every corner. it has a medieval theme to it with a mix of modern times.

The lady responded back to her friends indirect insult and started yapping down compliments to her each and every achievements under her name, even pointing out at how kind she is to Ryan even tho he was a jerk to her.

Carnia has listened enough to the conversation to know what other students think of her, if one thing has changed since day one, it is the frequent greetings of students she crossed paths with, without fail students greet her every where she went.

"Rina lets go."

Rina snapped out of her daydream and stood up scratching the back of her head while yawning in a low pitched quiet voice.

"Hey, Carnia are you going to the cafeteria? can you buy me 2 milk breads and a apple juice box."

The two were going on their way to the cafeteria when a familliar voice from behind called out to her in a casual but lazy manner.

"Uhm.. Yeah sure."

Carnia still managed to keep on a smiling face but deep inside she was already screaming bloody murder, she never thought that even in her free time he had the balls to boss her around.

"Hey, why don't you go get it yourself?."

Rina butted in totally annoyed on how this peep squeek has the gut to order her bestfriend around like a slave, actually Rina knew about the rumors of how Ryan the grandson of the director in Willstenburg Academy treated Carnia poorly but she never dared to open the topic as it might hurt her pride in some way.

"I am not going to the cafeteria tho?."

Rina's face said it all anger, irratation written on her face, Rina looked as if she wanted to punch the heck out of Ryan but she knew she would be no match to him and Carnia would never hurt anyone because she is that kind.

"Hey, aren't you going to far?."

The lady from earlier stood up from the bench and complained right infront of Ryan, suddenly people somehow got the courage out of nowhere and one by one they followed suit, shouting out every single complaints to him.

"Stop it please!."

Carnia wanted to calm down the other students suddenly ganging up on him but she could'nt, she tried every possible thing to stop them from shouting but it only became worse.

Ryan looked down on the ground, silently staring at it when drops of water came dripping out of his eyes into the ground. Almost immeditely the crowd hushed down.

"I- I only w-wanted to be f-f-fwiends with you."

He rubbed his eyes with his sleeves and puffed up his cheeks making him look like a tiny cutr hamster, the gaze of many quickly softened even Carnia was affected by it.

"Then why did you have treat her this badly?!."

Rina had like an imunity of cuteness in her, she was not a bit slightest affected by his mood change.

"I-I didn't know how to make friends!."

Carnia felt as if a heart arrow had plunged into her chest, she swiftly went her way beside Ryan and hugged him into his chest. Ryan was a inch smaller to her breast so his breast will not smush her face.

"Cute~."

Carnia reminded of kid version Aiden in Ryan, Aiden was a little tsundere in the past unsuprisingly when he grew up his mind became more mature than before.

"Don't call me cute!."

Ryan tried pushing Carnia out of her grasp but she could'nt find a part of her to push, she was more powerful in strength that his fragile hands can't firmly grasp the wrinkles of the uniform on her back. In the end she resigned to her embrace and hid his face in embarrassement.
