Chapter 53

"Goodmorning, Cinnamonbun~." Carnia ran in full speed ahead with her right hand going in to Ryan's neck, yanking him behind to give him a back hug but it ended with her choking the living hell out of him she released him from her grasp when she saw foam bubbling from his mouth.

"Are you trying to kill me?!." he massaged his throat and coughed tremendously feeling guilty by her actions Carnia patted his back carefully with little strength to at least calm him down.

"I am sorry~." She hugged him twice now but this time she gently slid both of her arms to his back and gave him a full on bear hug, all of the students passing by the two were giggling in laughter of what they saw.

"Don't touch me!." He pushed her back and covered his hand with his left arm, his face turning red even the tips of his ears where turning red like a small tomato.

"Why are you turning shy now?." Carnia felt some how familiar in this situation, a feeling like she has been in this position before but no matter how hard she tries to recall it, it was simply no use.

"Hey, are you guys done now?." Rina was beside Carnia the whole time, when Carnia sprinted out of nowhere she followed behind her only to stop and find her putting her hands to Ryan's neck.

In all honesty she was pretty pissed off, Ryan might have put a charm spell on everyone in the Academy but it didn't work on her just because Carnia is vibing with Ryan a lot means that she will too.

She flipped her short brown hair and stared down at Ryan, Carnia let go off Ryan and stood in between unaware of the tension bteween them, a B-rank student like Rina going against a S-rank student is really a bold and reckless like a wolf and a dog, that was the aura the two were emitting in other peoples eyes but in Carnias eyes he could see a Brown siberian dog and a fiesty blond cat sweetly staring at each other.

She grinned eat to ear as she saw the "cute" interaction between them, the atmosphere surrounding them is sheer black full of vengeance and malice but on the other hand all Carnia could see are pink flowers blooming one by one above them.

The school bell rang and broke the concentration of their stare down, Rina grabbed Carnia's right hand and tried dragging her to their school building, as soon as she knew she was being dragged by Rina, Carnia tightly held Ryans right hand with her left hand.

Rina pulled her hand and noticed a different force contradicting with hers, she looked behind her and felt a mild headache forming in her head.

Carnia is standing still with his left hand holding onto Ryan's right hand, Ryan is already seen doing half splits from the effort of taking off the strong hand clenching his left hand.

He tried removing her fingers one by one but it was proved futile as she continued tightening her hold whenever Ryan tried to remove a finger. He pushed and pulled his arms to shake of her fingers but she still would'nt budge, He took a breather and stood there for a minute, thinking of a way to shake off the strong hands.

"Let go!."

like a light bulb suddenly appeared above his head, he attained an new idea and tried to test it out, he closed his eyes and started mumbling words out of nowhere, Carnia stared at his face in confusion and felt a slightly tickling sensation coming from her left hand, she looked at her left side where their hands where intertwined and saw something of a blueish light inside their hands, turning brighter every second.

He grinned as he mumbled his last words, he slowly opened his eyes expecting to see a frightened and upset face of Carnia only to see an amazed look plastered on her face, her mouth gaped as snowflakes came flying out of their hands

Ryan started increasing his magic spell, their hands already illuminating a dark blue color, soon tiny but numerous snowflakes began falling out of their hands

"What are you doing?!." Rina released her grasp from Carnia's and pushed Ryan's right shoulder. Ryan is in a daze as he looked in Carnia in confusion.

Ryan gazed at his hand and a small bruise could be find in the middle lf his palm, Carnia smirked half heartedly as he gave out a confused look

"Hey!."

Rina raised her voice a little bit higher than earlier, causing Ryan to glare at her in annoyance making Rina take step back in instinct in fear.

"Go to your classes!."

A transparent like moniter appeared in the sky, A woman wearing a red cloak and witch hat popped out of the screen, with her wand stick she swirled it out in circles as she mumbled a few words.

Instantly violet clouds emerged below their feet, rising above their faces, three of them were engulfed separately by the violet cloud.

the cloud lasted for about a minute before disappearing into thin air, Right infront of them are their classmates that have been seaten at their desired arrangement.

Carnia looked beside him and it was Ryan, behind Ryan is professor Andrew with his arms crossed and his chin up high. his eyebrows knitted into a frown.

"You two are 10 minutes late!."

She sighed as she felt a familliar feeling, out of habit she twiddled her hair strands and tried remebering something nostalgic in his life to pass the nagging, for the past ten years she has completely covered up all the manly actions she had, everything had changed except her mind set and sexuality she is still interested in girls but likes overly cute things.

She has learned all this with her Mother's assistance, Linda is the epitome of elegance and beauty which is why many acquantiance of Linda often say that Carnia is the small version of Linda to her surprise she did kinda resemble her Mother.

"Take your seats now!."

She was in dreamland before professor Andrew's scream scared the wits out of her, Ryan walked up the stairs and sat into the end of the seat next to a window, Carnia followed behind him and took a seat next to him.

The professor started the class when the two have already taken their seat, Ryan during the whole discussion is just staring blankly at Carnia earning a avetage level lightning zap by the professor as a punishment for not listening.

"Ouch!."

Ryan rubbed his aching head everytime he touched a particular spot he winces in pain, Carnia chuckled at the action, covering her mouth as she laughed harder. She has one of the ugliest laugh and Rina can confirm it her reaction plus her hideous laughter combined made Ryan glare at her.

"I-I am sorry."

She pinched her left arm to calm her down but her eyes kept twitching as her mouth twitched from a frown to a smile.

"Hey, how did you do that?."

"Do what?."

Carnia finally calmed down, she softly massaged the red spot on her left arm as she asked. Ryan turned infront and slouched his back.

"Its nothing."

Carnia stared at him for a minute before turning her head around to the other side, her mouth curving into a smile. the truth was she fought his magic spell with her own power when she felt a light sting on her palm, she knew that he was using his magic on her.

With that being said, she used a small amount of magic to contradict with his magic spell, in the end her power was too overwhelming for his magic, the friction between two strong magic powers made his skin scrape.

Ryan's ice power is slightly inferior to Carnia's magic, in terms of physical strenght Ryan is a lot more weaker than her, his build is shorter, thinner and paler compared to Carnia she has a bit of fat on his thights and bossom, her skin tone is in a healthy color and her lips are bright red.

When it comes to magic power Carnia has trained to controll her light magic countless times with his father's help, she focused on her light magic that she forgot training her wind magic and as a result she was rusty on that side, she even learned swordmaship.

She started training when she was 10 and learned how to control her magic at the age of 14 after that her father taught her some secret skills in sword fighting for a year. now she is slightly above average enough for her to join the Knight class.
