I was given a new room because my old blew up. My new room was three times larger than my previous room and it had all the essentials I needed. I had my own out house and bathing area. The food was delicious. It wasn't old or moldy. Even the servants attitudes towards me were different. What happened in one night?
I was almost sexually assaulted. Then Raiya came in and watched, but then he suddenly killed them. He found out I could see, is that why he killed those men? He was angry? But he gave me a bath and asked me questions. He won't take my eyes if I kiss him. He also sexually assaulted me, but it felt different from what those men did though. He even fixed my p*nis and got rid of the bad stuff inside. Then I woke up the next day and my room was destroyed like someone blew it up. Not only my room, but the surrounding area as well. It looked like a rainfall of explosions.
A servant girl came running to me and I panicked. I wasn't wearing any bandages! How could I make such a mistake. What do I do? Oh-oh that kiss thing! She won't take my eyes if I kiss her right?
Just as she came right up to me, she bowed and asked me to follow her as she pulled the end of my sleeve. She didn't look at me and she's guiding me, so she didn't find out, right? I stood in front of my new room and walked in.
The servant girl said she'd be outside if I needed anything, but why would she need to be outside if I need anything? Do I need anything? Oh. Maybe some clothes, but how could I ask that? Bandages? Will that be too much?
"Can I borrow some bandages?" I asked.
"Are you injured? I will call for the family doctor."
"Ah! No Im not injured! I j-just need it to cover my scars." I said as I showed her my hands.
"I'll be back with some bandages then."
She closes the door behind her and I walk into my new room to explore. There were tables and chairs. Cloth drooped from the ceiling in a pattern. The bed hid behind a see through piece of cloth. I moved the cloth aside and sat on the bed. It was soft. My new room had so much color that I couldn't stop looking.
That day my life changed. The Yun siblings stopped bullying me. Instead, they stopped interacting with me all together. The servants also stopped their harassment and only spoke to me when they had to. No one spoke to me or looked at me. They all kept their distance and it made me feel a sense of loneliness.
Even though I had fresh food, a new room and new clothes. I was still isolated. Was this a new form of punishment? I thought if I stayed obedient, they would treat me better. Now they're treating me better, but It's so lonely.
I could hear the servants talking and giggling outside. I wanted to join them, but if I went out they would stop talking. A servant knocks on my door and walks in as she placed my food on the table. As she turned around I ask her a question,
"Um. How is the Yun siblings doing?"
"They're doing well." She replies as she began to walk off.
"Ah- Are they eating well?" I quickly ask.
"Yes. They will be eating their meals in ther dinning hall soon." She replied and closed the door behind her.
Dining hall? Do they eat together? I remove my bandages and placed them on the table as I sat down in front of my tray. I scooped a spoonful of rice and ate it as a tears slowly streamed down my face. The food was warm and there weren't any holes in the walls or floors, but I didn't understand why everything still felt so cold. It was lonely, a feeling I've always known, but ten times worse.
In a couple weeks, the Yun brothers returned back to the army. Sometimes I would run into Meiyi, but she never spoke to me. Before she would at least yell at me, but now she just passes by me. A few days later I tried to talk to her by a hallway.
"Um. H-how a-are you doing t-these days?" I asked.
"... Fine." She replied, "Did you need something?"
"Ah! No. I... don't."
Then she walked off. However, that little conversation made me very happy. She didn't yell at me or hit me. She also didn't ignore me. Everytime I ran into her, I tried to make small talk until one day she got angry.
"Why do you try to greet me all the time?!" she yelled.
"I-I'm s-s-sorry."
"Why are the one apologizing?! You didn't do anything wrong! Why aren't you angry at me? I tortured you, humiliated you, bullied you! You should hate me!" she cried out.
"... I jus-"
"Just what? What do you want?"
"I j-just w-want someone to talk to. Ah no, I mean I just mmm w-wante-" My face blushed brightly.
"... You're weird. Somethings wrong with you." She chuckled, "But I can't be your talking buddy, someone like me don't have the right to do that for you, so you'll have to find someone else. I'm sorry."
Why? Why can't you talk to me? Why did you apologize? I just couldn't understand. What did I do wrong this time?
Just like that, I lived my life in solitude for 2 more years. Meiyi had turn 18 and was preparing to marry into the Mo family. The Yun brothers returned home to help prepare and celebrate her wedding.
I probably wasn't invited, so I stayed out of the way as servants ran around preparing everything. I've never seen a wedding before, so I was curious. After everything had been set up I snuck out in the middle of the night to take a peek. Her wedding was located in one of the the family courtyards that wasn't too far away.
I walked into the decorated area and was awed. Everything was still lit up. The paper lamps hung beautifully and candles burned. Tables covered in red cloth sat in rows and a long red carpet formed an aisle. It was also spring time, so flower petals fell like snow. It was like a festival.
"What are you doing here?" a man ask as I turn around to see Raiya behind me.
His hair flowed along with the slight breeze and his eyes looked at me intensely. He walks up closer to me as I slightly back away in fear. He grasps my wrist and wrapped his arm around my waist, pulling me in as our chest touched. He squeezed me tightly and hid his face between my neck and shoulder.
"Junhe."
