First Technique
Hicks wakes in his bed. In a daze he lays back down and goes back to sleep
Out of nowhere he feels someone press their elbow on his ribs.
(Hicks)
"AGH WHAT THE F**K"
Hicks looks up in anger to see who it was. He sees a familiar face and smiles smugly.
(Zhuang Zhou)
"Are you surprised to see me Bro"
Hicks gets up and looks at brother Zhou face to face
(Hicks)
"I didn't think I would ever see you again. Especially after I completely destroyed you in a fight."
Brother Zhou gets embarrassed and smile nervously
(Zhuang Zhou)
"Hehe, well I was just passing by and I saw you on the floor yesterday, I picked you up and brought you here."
(Hicks)
"Ah so I was out for a while again"
(Zhuang Zhou)
"Yeah I guess you must've used up all you energy doing..."
As Zhuang Zhou rambles on Argent begins to talk to Hicks
(Argent)
"Hey remember that dragon stone you found?"
(Hicks)
*yeah why?*
(Argent)
"You got a cool ability, but you can't use it yet since you aren't smart enough"
(Hicks)
*Not smart enough? What kind of ability requires you to be smart?*
(Argent)
"Ah, let me rephrase that. You can't comprehend this ability since you don't have any skills yet."
(Hicks)
*Huh, that's weird, I know what the skill is but I don't remember the name, what it does or how to do it*

"Yeah I'm restricting you from remembering it"
Hicks tells Zhuang Zhou to shut up and just walks away leaving Zhuang Zhou alone

"Okay I'll just go and do whatever I want I guess"
Zhuang Zhou sits on Hicks' bed. Then leaves

"Oh yeah I forgot to tell you, while you were sleeping you broke through Qi-Gathering and you are now Qi-Foundation. Now you can use actually useful skills"
(Hicks)
*What about the skill I used against that tiger? Was that not useful?*

"Nah even a 4 month old immortal can use that skill"

*By 4 month immortal do you mean someone that became an immortal or a baby that was born as an immortal?*

"So many questions just go to the library. You are now at Qi-Foundation and here you're now allowed to get a new skill and technique."
(Hicks)

"I have access to all your memories so I just looked through those and found that out"
Hicks walks over to the library where he bumps into Guang De
(Hicks)
"Ah sorry about that"
(Guang De)
"Hey watch where you're going jackass!"
Guang De looks at Hicks then gets scared he then runs away crying and traumatized

"What's his problem?"
(Argent)
"HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA"
Hicks walks into the library and meets the clerk.
(Hicks)
"Hello Librarian Ching Zho"
(Ching Zho)
"Ah Hicksbess come here to study again? You haven't been here the past few days where have you been? Have you come to check out a book?"
(Hicks)
"Hehe well I'd love to sit here and talk but I'm Qi- Foun-"
(Ching Zho)
"Hmph so you can't spare this old man some time to talk. Find go to the second floor and get you two damn books and leave"
Ching Zho grabs a key from the wall that has hundreds of keys on it. He tosses Hicks the key to the second floor of the library.
(Hicks)
"Thank you Mr. Ching Zho"
(Ching Zho)
"Just go and get you books"
Ching Zho looks away upset that Hicks doesn't want to talk with him. Hicks goes to the door to the second floor. He unlocks the door and finds himself in a room filled with even more books than the first floor. There are at least a dozen students also there reading techniques and skills.
(Hicks)
*Hm so I can get a technique and a skill. What should I get, there are so many options! Argent what do you think?*
(Argent)
"Get the flame body skill and the gold fortune technique"
(Hicks)
"WHAT THE HELL THE MOST BASIC THINGS HERE!!!"
All the disciples present all lol at Hicks. Embarrassed Hicks hides behind a shelf of books so he can be hidden from everyone else

*Seriously the flame body skill, that's so simple why not something stronger like the seventh skill of advanced fire Blue flame burst?*

"Well you can't get blue flame burst since you can't make blue flames. Secondly, basic skills are the easiest to master, with a lot of mastered skills you can reach the top quickly"
(Hicks)
*Okay, I guess that makes sense. What about the Gold Fortune Technique, why that one*
(Argent)
"I dunno, it just has Gold fortune in its name and I'm the Golden Needle of Fortune."
(Hicks)
*Ugh can I just choose a technique then*

"NO, if you won't choose that one get the elemental dragon technique!"

(Ching Zho from the first floor)

Hicks runs around the library looking for the flame body skill and the Elemental Dragon Technique. He finds the flame body skill and then finds the Elemental Dragon Technique. He runs back downstairs throws the key to the second floor at Ching Zho and leaves.
(Hicks)
"Aw man my first official skill, I'm gonna learn this as fast as possible"
(the last two skills he used don't count because the don't have a name and he doesn't remember using that fire bolt skill from a while ago)
(Argent)
"Woah easy there buddy! Put down the flame body skill first. Alright now hold the Elemental Dragons Technique Book with both hands"
Hicks throws the flame body technique to the side and grabs the Elemental Dragons Technique with both hands. Argent then forcefully pulls him into the void.
(Hicks)
"Why did you bring me here? And why didn't you tell me I could bring stuff here?"
(Argent)
"I mean you technically can't bring stuff here. But like you also can(?) because like the real book is with your real body. The book you are holding is a "spiritual" object. It's like how you are able to wear clothes here."
(Hicks)
"Huh, but why did you bring me here?"
(Argent)
"When your here it is easier to comprehend techniques and skills. So get to work"
