Chapter 2 Disciple

Ryug started walking towards the crack.

When Ryug looked inside the crack all he could see was pitch black darkness.

"That's one huge pit," Ryug exclaimed.

[Jump inside now.]

The voice urged him.

"Are you saying to me jump and die" Seeing the dark pit Ryug was scared. Just by imagining what would happen if he jumped without any powers made him shiver.

[Baah...What kind of youth are you? Scared shitless. Just enjoy the thrill young man]

As the voice in his head said. Ryug jumped inside the crack.

"How did my body move on its own? Ahhhhhhh"

Ryug was praying to lady luck.

[Hahaha...Your reactions are kind of funny, Young man. I just took control of your body to jump. that's all]

"That's all. my ass. I would fight to the death with you. I wanted to be a full corpse when I die not a shattered one"

Ryug assumed that he would die from falling.

Thud!

Ryug landed perfectly on the bottom of the crack.

"Just how did I do that? I'm just a cripple with no battle energy inside me"

Ryug knew after his Origin core being removed forcefully and the poison that caroline used would make him lose all his battle energy. His body would not even handle the slightest amount of stress.

[Boy, Did you forget the remoulding process that you have gone through. Your body is a bit strong right now but it needs to go a long way before we can call it stronger]

The voice told him the reason and urged him,

[No time to waste. Just go neat the gravestone and open it]

"Are you making me to rob tombs right now? It's disgraceful to dig a grave"

Ryug spoke in a disagreeing tone.

[It's my tomb and that's my grave. So, we are not robbing it. it's called reclaiming what's mine]

The voice replied.

"..."

[Don't standstill. go and open it. Quick]

"ok. Got it"

Ryug ran to the grave and moved the lid.

"Ahhh"

"That was one hell of a lid. Why is that super heavy?"

Rumble!!!

[Stop talking. Remove the ring in the finger and the accessories on my body. Do it quickly}

The voice again urged him to do it faster as the tomb started to collapse.

"The ring, a necklace, a wrist band, another ring. Nothin else. Hey, are you that poor? Just owning a couple of things that are even worth a couple of dollars"

Ryug looked like a Grave thief when he was complaining while taking the accessories from the bandaged body.

[A mortal like you won't know the value of these things]

"What would these Accesries amount for?"

[Boy, stop grumbling and keep those wear them]

Ryug wore the accessories and turned to walk away. Before he could take another step, the voice stopped him.

[Idiot, why are you leaving the book in my hands. Take it]

Hearing what the voice said, Ryug turned and took the book that was in the grasp of the dead body.

Rumble!!!

This time the shaking was too much the tomb started collapsing.

"How am I supposed to get out of this pit hole?"

Ryug was startled to see the distance of the opening. It's not possible to climb without a rope.

[I'll take you out]

Ryug was confused. Golden scales appeared on both his arms and legs. His hands transformed similar to a dragons claw.

Ryug lost control of his body as soon as he started climbing the walls. His powerful claws pierced through those hard walls like nothing. Ryug climbed faster and reached the opening at no time.

The opening of the gate was still there and he rushed in midst of the collapsing boulders.

Ryug who was watching this was scared that he would be crushed to death if any of those boulders fell on him. As he was thinking, a boulder fell on top of him,

"That's right. Lady luck abandoned me. I'm fated to die after all"

Ryug was getting hopeless and scared as he lost his battle energy.

'Rawwr'

'boom'

His claws like hands smashed the large boulder.

"..."

Ryug jumped through the Gate's entrance and reached out. The sight of familiar buildings and people brought him happiness. Just as he thought about it, he hurriedly looked at his hand they were back to normal.

'Reporting Ryug has returned from the gate. Medics are requested near the gate'

Several persons surrounded Ryug and escorted him. While moving, Ryug saw Caroline and Gilbert lying unconscious in a stretcher. His killing intent flared to the peak but he controlled it as he remembered the curse he inflicted them.

Ryug smirked and walked away.

As he was walking, his visions started to blur and a huge amount of fatigue overtook his body.

"What...is...this?"

Those were the last word Ryug murmured before he fell unconscious.

All the staffs escorting Ryug were in panic. They checked hi and immediately transported to a hospital.

'Shadow reporting, Ryug fell unconscious after returning from the raid'

As soon as the person in black informed through his communication device.

'Take him to the best medics possible and treat him with the utmost care. I'll be there in an hour'

Shadow followed the instructions and admitted Ryug in the best hospital.

***Ryug's Consciousness***

"Where am I? Didn't I fall down unconscious?"

Ryug was speaking to himself as he was wandering in a pitch-black area. It was like an endless darkness there seems to be no end for it.

As Ryug was confused, he heard the voice again;

[This is your sea of consciousness Boy]

Hearing the voice from his back, Ryug turned. Suddenly, a bright-looking man covered with an immortal glow appeared in front of his face.

"Ahh"

"Don't scare me like that."

[You are of no fun young man.]

The man spoke in a familiar voice.

"If this was my consciousness. why the hell are you here?"

Ryug questioned him.

[You are the one who accepted me. Don't you remember it, boy]

"I'm not a boy, I have a name. I'm called Ryug"

Ryug introduced himself to the man inside his consciousness.

[Hehe...okay, Ryug]

The man smiled and said,

[You can take me as your master and kneel before me to complete the ceremony]

Ryug knew that the man before him was the one who saved him and helped him to return to earth by crossing the gate. By seeing the beast transformation he knew that he would benefit a lot from this. Immediately Ryug kneeled before the man,

"Disciple Ryug, greets Master"

[You are a bright one. Aren't you? Ryug!]

The man smiled and introduced himself,

[I was once a supreme master, ganged up and sealed due to the unravelling powers I held. I, Zhao Feng, Hereby accept you as my only disciple and my successor]

By hearing it, Ryug was thrilled.

[Your body needs to be made stronger to fully assimilate my powers. From now on, I would guide you and make you a peerless one]

Ryug was smiling from ear to ear.

[But, now it seems the forceful beast transformation made you to exhaust yourself and is currently unconscious treated by some people. You would be the weakest but growing day by day.]

[Chant this mantra. It would help to accelerate the recovery]

Ryug started chanting the mantra in his consciousness.

Unknown to him, his body was enhancing in all aspects as he was unconscious in the hospital bed.
