Chapter 6 You Did Great

It was bright was a bright morning, Ryug woke up and sat in upright in his bed.

"Did you have a good night sleep, Ryug?"

Ryug was greeted by Zhao Feng.

Ryug's eyes narrowed in suspicion.

When he took a closer look, he spotted 'something' pretty big behind his master glaring at him.

"A… a Dragon?"

The identity of the thing that was glaring at him was a golden dragon.

Ryug anxiously swallowed his saliva.

'This is unreal….'

Ryug rubbed his eyes again to confirm that is was not an illusion.

Was he dreaming?

Ryug closed and opened his eyes again, yet nothing had changed.

"The Golden Dragon is real. So, don't try too hard Ryug"

Zhao Feng who saw Ryug's actions explained.

"Meet the most powerful dragon existence you have awakened"

Zhao Feng pointed at the Golden Dragon.

The Golden Dragon was still glaring at him. Ryug was started sweating just by looking at its eyes.

Slap!!

Zhao Feng slapped at the head of the Dragon with the fan he was holding.

"Damn you, Feng, why did you have to do that?"

"Don't scare him like you did to me the first time we met, you idiot"

"It feels great when someone pisses his pants in fear"

"You...idiot of a dragon"

Seeing Zhao Feng and the Golden Dragon bickering, Ryug was relaxed to see the Golden Dragon was not as frightening as it seemed.

"Who is it, master"

Ryug questioned Zhao Feng.

"This guy has replaced you dantian and will be your main power source from now on. He's the one who saved you"

"Hmm...hmm...Be thankful"

Slap!!

"Why did have to do that again?"

The Golden Dragon was feeling wrong as it was getting hit by the fan for the second time.

"Don't act like that, if not for him we would be still lying in that damn fossil"

Even if it was a coincidence, Zhao Feng knew that Ryug's blood was the one which stimulated his formation. Zhao Feng was grateful for Ryug.

"Master, Is there something I need to know"

Ryug indirectly asked Zhao Feng because he had hundreds of questions rising in his mind.

"First of all, There are 10 beast cores inside your body excluding his"

Zhao Feng pointed the Golden Dragon.

"11 of them"

Ryug was flabbergasted. It was impossible for him to believe that he had 11 beasts inside him.

"yep"

"He is at the centre and the others are surrounding him"

Zhao Feng again pointed the Golden Dragon. The Golden Dragon proudly raised its head showing it was the boss.

"Mater, is all of the Dragons like him"

Ryug asked Zhao Feng with a high expectation. It would be awesome to say that he had 11 dragons inside his body. The power of a single dragon would be great. what if he had the power of 11 dragons.

"Nope"

All his imaginations were shattered in a single word.

"They are different ancient beasts and unique in their own way"

"Azure Dragon – represents the East, Spring, and the Wood element.

White Tiger – represents the West, Autumn, and the Metal element

Black Tortoise – represents the North, Winter, and the Water element. It's also known as the Turtle-Snake, and it looks like a tortoise entwined with a snake. The Black Tortoise is closely connected to the warrior god Xuanwu.

Vermilion Bird – represents the South, Summer, and the Fire element. It looks like a red pheasant, although sometimes it's depicted with multi-coloured plumage.

Qilin –A divine and auspicious beast, sometimes described as looking like a hybrid of a dragon and a deer or horse. Known for its great wisdom, nobility, benevolence, and magical powers.

Jade Rabbit – A divine beast which symbolizes the Moon. It produces the elixir of life by pounding medicinal herbs.

Xiezhi – a mythical beast somewhat similar to the Qilin, but with only a single horn on its head. The Xiezhi symbolizes justice and can magically distinguish between good and evil, truth and lies, the innocent and the guilty. When faced with a wicked person, it will gore them with its horn and then devour them.

Pixiu – An auspicious beast which looks like a winged lion with the head of a dragon. It has great powers of luck, being capable of attracting wealth to itself while warding off evil.

Peng – also known as the Kunpeng. An unfathomably gigantic bird which transforms from a fish. Just by spreading its wings, it can shroud the heavens. And with a single flap, it can travel vast distances.

Nine-tailed Fox – a powerful Fox Demon. Generally, Fox Demons will gain additional tails as they grow older and more powerful, with a total of nine tails being the maximum number."

"You need to awaken all these beasts with the help of the Golden Dragon and learn to use their strength in order to ascend as a Supreme"

Zhao Feng explained about the beasts sleeping inside Ryug's body.

"Master, how can I awaken them?"

"You don't need to stress over it, I'll help you. Just follow my instructions"

Zhao Feng assured Ryug that he would do his best to awaken all the beasts in a short time and strengthen Ryug. While Ryug was bust asking about the beasts,

Knock!knock!

"Come in"

'Mr. Ryug, You are discharged as all the test result were positive'

"Oh, Thank You"

Ryug smiled at the nurse and changed his clothes.

Ryug exited the hospital and started walking toward his home. Just then a girl hugged him from behind.

Feeling her soft tender hands and her chest pressing against his shoulders, the feeling was familiar for him.

After a while, the girl loosened her grip.

Ryug turned to see the girl's face. The girl was shocked to see Ryug's face and was embarrassed as she hugged the wrong person.

The girl bowed three times indicating she was sorry and typed something in her mobile and gave it to Ryug.

"I'm Sasha, sorry I misrecognized you for my brother"

Ryug understood that girl was mute. Before he returned the mobile he typed something and he left.

The girl was staring at the Mobile and tears welled up.

Ryug walked with his headphones on. He still remembers the day when his friend died saving his sister.

"You hugged the right person. I will always remember him."

Loneliness brushed past him as he was walking through the evening sunset.

A gentle tap on his shoulders was felt, it was like his friend saying,

"You did great surviving till now"

Ryug smiled tearfully.
