" I'll be back in a moment, with a change of clothes," Dawn said while walking towards the door, " And don't sit on the furniture."

I looked back up at Lauren who was regaining her sense of self. Her face contorted in worry, she grabbed my arm. There was no reason to be worried, her scared look was a tiny bit cute.

" I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to do that," Lauren's had a blush on her face as she looked down at her feet, I reassured her with a wink that told her to expect more.

Dawn returned, shortly after carrying a set of clothes and towels, before I could say anything she handed the items to us:" There is a shower for my personal use down the hall, look for the nameplate. Once you are finished making your way back here. Our conversation is far from over."

We weren't even given the chance to say thank you, she booted us out of the room rather quickly," Trouble maker," I gave Lauren a poke in the ribs as punishment.

Thinking back, Lauren was not in control of herself, or for the most part, she couldn't contain her inner desires. My hair covered the wound where she bit me, those fangs were long. The pain from the bite went away as soon as the pleasure went throughout my entire body. That made me wonder, did her saliva have a pain-relieving effect, or was it in her fangs like spiders.

" Hey Lauren, can you take a look at my neck?" I asked wanting to know how bad it looked, but contrary to how I expected.

" The bites are gone," Lauren stated as a matter of fact. she rubbed some of the already dried blood without any sign of injury found, " yeah, the wound seems to have healed."

" That's odd. I guess you could bite as many times as you want and it'd all be healed, the person might die of blood loss though," I said as we were searching for the right door in this maze of white.

If they took the name tags off of the doors and you didn't know the way out, I wouldn't be surprised if people could get lost without ever finding the exit.

" Don't test me or I'll gobble you up," Lauren had her fangs partially grown to full length, giving me an evil grin, " I won't be drinking the blood of anyone but you. Do you really want me experiencing pleasure like that with another person, When were you ever so shallow, Sera?"

I did not like where this was going not at all, " I'm not shallow, and I don't want you doing that with anyone. Your mine and I'm yours," I pushed her against the wall, nudging my neck onto her lips, " if you would like some, I'd be happy to oblige," my voice taking on a seductive tone.

Hot air blew past the pale skin on my neck, forcing a tingling sensation in that area. Sharp objects touched my skin, making an indent. Never penetrating the surface, staying ever still.

" We can't do this in the hallway, you idiot," she dragged me by the arm until we found the showers.

In the bathroom we stripped and stepped into the showers, the water made steam rise. If we didn't have to hurry I would love to stand under the water and relax. Lauren helped me wash the blood from my neck and body trying not to look at my delicate areas. She's seen me naked before, but back then we were in the darkness where much was hard to be seen. And even before that, she didn't see me as a love interest, funny how certain details can change the entirety of how one acts in certain situations

She had blood smeared on and around her lips, as well as in her hair which reminded me of something out of a horror movie.

" Blood tastes somewhat like fruit and other sweats, not like the metallic taste I remember. I also feel stronger after consuming blood, minutely," she said while washing her hair while her back was toward me.

" Do you want to pick up where we left off?" I asked, her body froze up immediately as the word hit her ears.

" Are you sure, what if you lose to much blood? I would never forgive myself if anything happened to you due to me," she turned around and looked me directly into my eyes with a serious gaze.

" I don't feel week or anything, if I feel bad, I'll tell you," I slowly walked to where Lauren was.

Pulling Lauren's lips near mine, I put my tongue down her throat. Taking my blushed face from hers I said," Bring it."

We didn't want to wast time so I had to cut our fun time short When I began to feel light-headed due to the lack of blood I had Lauren stop. We played around some more, she wouldn't let me touch her vagina whenever I tried she would tell me no and say that she wanted to wait. I did not want Lauren angry so I abided by her word.

After finishing up we quickly dressed, rushing back to Dawn's office. Feeling nervous dud to how much time past by while we were 'showering'.

We walked into the room, Dawn sat in her chair with a patient look on her face. When she noticed we came in she put the book she was reading to the side. I noticed that the mess that was made from the strewn up boxes and blood droplets that were on the floor.

We both sat down in our chairs, I said, " Sorry for the wait."

" No need, it's best that you've cleared your mind," Dawn said while taking a drink of a glass of water.

I waited for Dawn to start the rest of the conversation that we failed to pick up earlier.

" We're going to back up in time quite a bit. When the Yeong clan was in its infancy one of the members had a child with a family said to be descendants of Immortals. It was known that the first daughter who was born from her they would have her ability. And that person's ability is the one you have," she said while paying attention to our faces.

The Yeong wasn't so corrupt as it is in this era, no they were righteous and never commit acts their later generation would wreak. The bloodline stayed within the Yeong clan for many generations, swapping out the older generation as leaders, with men and women with different values. Your ability strengthened the Yeong to become one of the top clans in the world." I stayed quiet letting the information she gave me sink in.

" One particular ability holders husband died after suffering from an accident, she already had a daughter to pass her lineage unto. She fell in love with a man later in her life and had multiple children with him. The catch is, the first girl was born with the ability, most thought of this as a one-off. However, a few more times down the line of history the same anomaly occurred. After a few hundred years one of the leading figures in the clan was brought the hypothesis to one of the elders. At that moment in time, the current ability holder's powers were weak, sometimes having to take multiple days to awaken a person's ability," Dawn paused taking a drink to water progressing thereafter.

Listening to what Dawn was saying I felt like I knew what she was going to say next, I hope that I'm wrong. Right beside me, my lover's face stiffened seemingly uncomfortable in her snug chair.

" The elder thought of how to use the hypothesis and a way to sell it, he thought of how much stronger the clan could become due to this new discovery. He had many friends who were in the upper echelons of the clan like himself when he stated that he wanted to expand the clan's wealth and status, the refutes were apparent. Well. I can skip over the tiny details, but the end result was, the women and all of the ancestors were essentially slaves only used for breeding and making the clan stronger. In return. the girl with the strongest ability would have the spot as head of the clan, in name only of course," I was stunned, why would anyone do such a horrid thing to a person and their own family at that.

" What in the hell. So, they were going to force me to have sex with and have children for the rest of my life. Meanwhile, I do their every bidding in the process? How come they never escaped? And why wasn't I forced to do those nasty, incredulous acts; I was fourteen after all?" I put my hand over my head leaning back, the lights on the ceiling were covered, so I had no problem staring into them.

" Getting to those questions, how could they escape? As far as I know, they had guards always stationed at the exits of the building, inside the clan headquarters may be relatively quiet, but the ones who tried to run away have never been seen again. It's thought they were locked underground where they never saw the light of day again. Most people in the clan are proud to be part of their clan, idiotic isn't it," Dawn said as she took taking another drink of water appearing as if she was going to say more, " I'll tell you more about your mother after I cover some more basic information."

I looked over where Lauren was located as she was a determined expression, " I'll protect you, Lauren, I don't know how strong I am, but Like you said I'm yours and your mine."

Dawn smiled lightly continuing her information, " As you may have already guessed, the mortality rate went up in childbirth or infancy, when the female child was born; the mother and the child. This grew until only one or two children were born with the power out of every generation. That should help explain why you are valued. When you were living peacefully, in that small mountain town you must have experienced pains randomly, right?"

" Yeah, I have. I figured it was due to my awakening as well as the strength I gained before," I said with some curiosity hinted in my voice.

" That's the awakening process, most people awaken their abilities that way. You wouldn't have had those pains though if you did not have a second ability. All abilities that alter your physique have painful awakens. When you felt those pains, your aura would release into the atmosphere where someone who specialized in tracking auras could feel you; especially since yours is so strong," Dawn crossed her arms proud for some reason.

" So that's how you and that man, Michael, found me. Too bad, I really wanted to have happy. Be alone with my family, not this...," why couldn't I hold myself back, I knew what was happening and after hearing the cause. My tears flowed streaming my face, the pent up stress and emotions I've held in so far released itself.

Lauren reached over rubbing my shoulder to comfort me, Dawn paused when she was about to continue her story, " It's okay, it's okay to cry when you are sad."

When I couldn't cry anymore, I felt better, still feeling like I've been wronged, but the stress that's accumulated was let go as if winter bloomed into spring.

" Please continue," I said with my hands on my lap.

Dawn said while looking down at her hands, " Now let me tell you of your mother."
