The Nine-Tails Rampage Day (1)

Konohagakure, one month later.

The sky was darkly blue, and it was slowly getting even darker.

Even though this day was supposed to be normal exactly like any other day, some Konoha residents still felt a somewhat ominous feeling rising inside them surreptitiously.

In the famous Hatake's clan residence, two steadfast men were currently standing in a dim room.

"Does it really have to go this way, Yoshi?" One of them asked a little lamentably all of a sudden, his determined expression wavering a little.

"You know that this was on my mind for a long time, Kakashi!" The other one replied quickly and resolutely. He was preparing for this exact day for a very long time already.

Everything was for this, every last bit of pretending and letting things go before, was for this.

Nearly fifteen years have passed already since he came to this village, and it was finally time for a completely new chapter to open in his life.

"Then, I'll do my part of the job well, too!" Kakashi turned resolute again, his eyes showing dangerous light. That man already became his own mortal enemy a long time ago.

"Kakashi, I must part with uncle Sakumo now, as well," Yoshi nodded towards Kakashi and went forwards giving him a brothers' hug.

"Right, Yoshi, we'll see each other again, soon!"

In another similar room, later, the atmosphere was solemn.

Yoshi looked at the familiar older man in gray kimono, in front of him, feeling complicated,

If he were to say it, this man was the one he was the most indebted to in this life.

If not for him, his life if not over at the beginning, would probably be about a hundred times harder.

"Uncle..." Yoshi sighed, not even knowing how to begin it nor formulate his sentence.

"Do you intend to betray the village?" Sakumo suddenly asked plainly, instead.

"... Yes," Yoshi finally admitted his true purpose today.

"I already guessed this could happen someday. There's no way that someone as smart as you could not realize the hypocrisy of this village," Sakumo was not too surprised nor judgmental at the moment.

Ever since the direct betray of the Uzumaki clan before, this village continued to disappoint Sakumo more and more, making him completely detached from it, in the end.

Yoshi, Kakashi, and the Hatake clan being the only things that mattered to him, in life, now.

But...

"I still hope that you don't target any civilians of Konoha in the future, Yoshi!" Sakumo suddenly looked Yoshi straight in the eyes resolutely, warning him a bit.

Even after everything, civilians were still a part of Sakumo's bottom line.

His moral sense just won't allow him to approve his adopted son of committing such atrocious acts as killing innocent civilians.

"Of course, uncle!" Yoshi just smiled, feeling really relieved that Sakumo didn't condemn nor judge him.

"Yoshi, I wish all the best to you, and for you to realize your dreams!"

"You'll make your father proud, in the end, I believe in you!"

"... As for your previous plans, I'll do my best!" Sakumo replied heartily and resolutely, the same as Kakashi did before. They both held no mercy towards that wicked man, Danzo!

At the same time, somewhere outside the Konohagakure, a historic event was taking place.

The recently-appointed Hokage, Minato Namikaze, was married to Kushina Uzumaki, the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tails.

When Kushina became pregnant and the birth of their son drew near, special precautions had to be taken due to the fact that the seal keeping the Nine-Tails within her would weaken during childbirth, thus carrying the risk it might escape.

News of Kushina's pregnancy was kept a secret from the general population and the delivery itself would take place in a remote cave away from the village.

Minato's predecessor, Hiruzen Sarutobi, organized the security; the site would be protected by a barrier, several Anbu would guard the area, and another Anbu and Hiruzen's wife, Biwako, would be midwives.

Minato, meanwhile, would monitor the seal, keeping it stable during the delivery and restoring it to its original strength as soon as their son was born.

The room was pretty dark, only lit by a few bright candles, casting an orange-like color onto the brick-like walls.

"Ahh, it hurts, you know!!" A woman's loud yells of pain suddenly resounded throughout it.

"Is she really going to be okay? I've never seen her crying out like that before..." A blond-haired male suddenly asked inside the room, while looking at his wife's painful and sweaty face.

His hands were on her stomach, where some kind of black seal was placed.

"Yes, she is going to be fine. Now, forget about that and just stay focused on the Nine-Tails seal!"

The stern-faced middle-aged woman, who was currently helping Kushina give birth safely, suddenly exclaimed badly towards Minato.

"It's coming!" Kushina's face and yells became even more frequent and painful.

Minato's face grew even more serious and intense as he was holding the Nine-Tails seals.

A couple of more intense seconds passed, and a baby boy's unexpected cries were suddenly being heard in the room.

Once hearing them, Kushina's eyes started getting wet, tears promptly falling over her face.

"It's really here..." Minato suddenly opened his eyes wide in astonishment.

"Today, I'm a father!" He exclaimed happily afterward, crying a bit, as well.

"Yes, you have a healthy baby boy, Minato!" The Third Hokage's wife, Biwako, replied spiritedly while handing the blonde-haired whiskered baby to Kushina to see.

"Alright, you'll have plenty of time to see him later..." Biwako took Naruto up again, carrying him up somewhere else now.

"Kushina, thank you!" Minato said emotionally all of a sudden while looking at Kushina who was still lying down below gratefully and lovingly.

"Minato..." She also looked at him affectionally, all of her wishes in life, suddenly being completed, with her finally giving birth to their beloved son, Naruto.

But, their affectionate moment didn't last for too long, as unanticipated frightful shrieks suddenly resounded near the edge of the gloomy room.

Lady Biwako and the Anbu woman were already dead. A masked man in a dim gray cloak now suddenly holding their son in the air. One of his hands also pressed on the baby's face dangerously.

"Fourth Hokage Minato, step away from the Jinchuriki, or else this child will die in its first minute!" A man's hoarse voice suddenly resounded in the room alarmingly.

Kushina and Minato both suddenly looked at him extremely shocked and worried. 'How the hell did he pass the barrier? Who is he?'

"Get away from the Jinchiriki! Don't you care what happens to the brat!?" Seeing him still not moving away, the gloomy man threatened critically yet again.

"Wait, please, just stay calm!" Minato suddenly exclaimed pleadingly, his face already ghastly pale.

"Speak for yourself! I'm as calm as I can be, Minato!" The masked man replied, in the same tone of voice, calmly.

Then, all of sudden, he unexpectedly threw Naruto up into the air, picking up a shuriken from his coat, ready to stab the baby to the death instantly.

But, seeing this, Minato's eyes suddenly turned very sharp, he swiftly disappeared from his previous position near Kushina, reappearing right on the top of the room, picking Naruto up before masked man got the chance to stab him.

"Leave it to the Yellow Flash of the Konoha, but what about the next one?" The masked man muttered plainly after seeing this, his hand already doing the usual "Snake" explosion seal.

Minato immediately critically noticed the explosive seals placed on the red blanket currently covering his baby.

He swiftly threw out the blanket as he was already disappearing from this location.

"Minato! Naruto!" Kushina yelled gravely.

Somewhere on a grassy field, near one of Minato's safe houses marked with Flying Thunder God Jutsu symbols before.

"Thank goodness, Naruto wasn't injured," Minato muttered relievedly while crouching down a little, holding his son safely in his arms.

'He forced me to use Flying Thunder God Jutsu. His target was Kushina, and he succeeded in separating us! Better hurry!'

Minato thought seriously before disappearing again, towards a completely new location.

Simulateinsly, at a very different place, Kushina was tied to a few large boulders with some kind of sturdy-like sealing marks, which were also covering her whole body.

The masked man stood not too far from her, in the distance, looking at her blankly.

His name was Obito Uchiha, and he nearly died not too long ago in the Third Great Ninja War.

He still remembers the betrayal as those Konoha shinobi opted to help out Asuma Sarutobi instead of himself and Rin!

Were their lives truly any less worth than Asuma's?

Why was that so? Just because he was the Hokage's own son?

Even after he awakened the Three Tomoe Sharingan and became a lot stronger than Asuma, contributing way more merits than him, in that war for the battlefront, his own previous comrades still choose to save Asuma in that split second, instead of him and Rin, in the end!

Being mercilessly slaughtered by his enemies while watching the backs of his own comrades carrying another man to safety, instead, watching the gentle and the pretty girl beside him getting brutally stabbed in the chest with shurikens and kunai as well, coughing up blood badly...

He realized many important things at that moment...

But surprisingly, Obito was rescued by a creature called White Zetsu under orders from an elderly Madara, after those shinobi left thinking they were dead.

Rin sadly passed away, but he survived thanks to his sheer tenacity and thirst for revenge.

Zetsu brought Obito to Mountains' Graveyard and tended to his injuries, removing those body parts too damaged to be healed and replacing them with limbs cultivated from the cells of Hashirama Senju.

Despite his injuries, Obito's both Sharingan eyes, now in Mankegyo form, had survived intact.

All the while, Madara would tell Obito about the harsh realities of the world and his plan to save it, which the young Uchiha surprisingly agreed to, thanks to his own previous tragic experience.

Obito vowed to do anything for Madara if it could bring him together with Rin again.

Madara explained his Eye of the Moon Plan, which would replace the contemporary world of violence and death with one where nobody ever needs to die.

Obito was intrigued, determined to create a reality where he and Rin could exist alongside each other again.

Madara imparted all of his knowledge and plans to Obito, taught him about abilities he would need moving forward, entrusted him with his possessions, and manifested Black Zetsu to act as a guide.

Having left almost all that he had to Obito, Madara disconnected himself from the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path that was keeping him alive and told Obito that until his revival, he was to act as Madara Uchiha.

Using Madara's name and concealing his identity, Obito moved in the shadows of the ninja world to acquire the remaining pieces of the Eye of the Moon Plan.

Shortly after Madara's death, Obito and Zetsu went to Amegakure and approached the famous Akatsuki organization with an offer of support in creating the world of peace they envisioned.

In truth, he only needed Nagato, in whom Madara had implanted his Rinnegan several years earlier and who would be needed in the final stages of the Eye of the Moon Plan.

And, Nagato, not knowing that, and for his own reasons, agreed after a while.

And just recently, Obito visited Rin's grave in Konoha, surprisingly learning that Minato's wife, Kushina Uzumaki was pregnant, and would soon be giving birth.

Knowing that Kushina was the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki and that the seal keeping the Nine-Tails contained within her would weaken during childbirth, Obito started tracking her for months in Konoha thanks to his amazing new Mangekyo Sharingan ability, Kamui.

Just a few minutes ago, realizing that the birth was surprisingly and covertly about to take place, he swiftly located the place of it, killed her Anbu bodyguards and midwives, which included the Third Hokage's wife, and took her newborn son, Naruto Uzumaki, hostage to prevent Minato from interfering.

Minato was able to take Naruto from him, which distracted him long enough for Obito to escape with Kushina towards this new location.

'My revenge is coming now, Konoha!' Obito thought maliciously.

"I'm going to extract the Nine-Tails from you and crush the Konoha!" Obito suddenly said hoarsely while looking at the weak red-haired woman in front of him.

"No, you can't..." Kushina replied weakly. Konoha was her most important place in life, where she planned to raise her children alongside Minato in the future.

"Let's start, now!" Obito didn't want to waste any more time, in case Minato unexpectedly comes back quickly, thanks to the Flying Thunder God sealing formulae he already probably planted on Kushina's body.

Kushina's body suddenly flew up in the air, her mouth and belly now weirdly opened in some kind of purple light. Nine-tails chakra already rapidly leaving her body free!

And, after a few more moments of agony in air, she finally dropped on the ground again,

The Nine-Tails completely leaving her body!

"Good, now we'll head for the Konoha!" Obito suddenly exclaimed while looking at the large and very fierce-looking, fox-like beast, roaming in the distance.

It was already firmly under the control of his Sharingan!

"You Uzumaki, are just amazing!" Obito suddenly stopped his movements, turning around again and saying, while looking at still-alive Kushina, lying on the previous hard boulder even more weakly now.

"It seems that you don't die right away when the Tailed-Beast is extracted," Obito continued speaking a little amazed, also remembering that old Uzumaki classmate of his.

"You were the Nine-Tails Jinchuriki before, so I'll let you die by his hands!" But the next moment, he turned very fierce and vicious again, controlling the beast to attack and finish Kushina off now.

Kushina looked in shock and fear as giant sharp nails were about to pierce her body ferociously,

But, just as it was about to happen, she felt those familiar hands picking her up again!

It was Minato, who was now carrying her in his arms while standing on the nearby towering tree, confidently.

"You really are as quick as a flash... But you're too late!" The masked man said to himself while looking at this scene.

"Minato... That masked man is with the Nine-Tails... They're heading for the village... Stop them!" Kushina who was Minato's arms muttered weakly all of sudden.

Minato just turned a bit, looking at the masked man dangerously, then disappearing again, "He flew away..."

"That's fine, let's head to the Konoha now!"

The masked man just chuckled a bit and left towards his new destination, the Nine-Tails now obediently following him from behind, before getting summoned back.

In one of Minato's safe houses in the village, marked with his seal, they suddenly reappeared,

He was holding Kushina in his arms steadily.

"Why...?" She muttered weakly again.

"Never mind that... Just be with Naruto!" He suddenly put her on the bad where he previously put his son, looking at them sadly and despondently right now.

"Thank you, Minato, and good luck!" Kushina replied weakly while crying beside her son on the bed.

Minato nodded and suddenly turned very resolute, swiftly disappearing again.

Bright stars moved through the dark sky, and the moon shone strongly.

The night streets of Konoha were pretty crowded as usual. People were going home after the night of drinking outside with their friends. Their faces were red from all the alcohol and some of them groaned as they passed by.

Somewhere in a remote corner of this village, a man suddenly crouched down, slamming his hand straight onto the ground dangerously. 'Summoning Jutsu!'

"Kill them all, Kyubi!" Obito shouted murderously as he was starting to control it with his eye prowesses instantaneously.

A giant beast-like creature suddenly stood up from the large cloud of smoke and dust, frightening all of the people present who directly saw it with their eyes.

It had red-orange fur with black fur around its eyes that stretches to its ears, large Sharingan-like pupils and irises, and the upper-body structure of a human, complete with opposable thumbs on its clawed hands. It looked extremely formidable and daunting.

It immediately started destroying everything on its way maliciously, buildings were suddenly thrown left and right with its demonic claws from hell.

Some shinobi present on the scene immediately started evacuating civilians to safety, some even attempting to fight the Nine-Tails directly on their own, which would only prove useless in the end.

'You're are not going to do this on my watch!'

More and more people started getting killed, and seeing this, one strange-looking young man, decided to step in. It was Might Guy who was just now finished up with his training for the day.

"The Seventh Gate: The Gate of Wonder - Open!"

He gradually opened the Seventh Gate. Other panicked civilians nearby all looked in shock and wonder as the man fearlessly jumped into the air while doing some kind of weird hand motions.

"Hirudora!" Suddenly a white tiger-like swirling aura gathered beside his body, suddenly shooting forward, after a while, intensely, towards the direction of the giant beast precisely.

The giant white tiger suddenly collided straight with the even more giant nine-tailed fox.

His father was currently not in the village, and he was one of the strongest people able to guard it successfully at this very critical moment.

The giant and scary-looking beast suddenly got pushed right at the edge of the village effectively by him. Getting punched fiercely into the stomach by his successful long-range attack.

"Is that the legendary Eight Inner Gates technique?" Choza Akimichi who was standing somewhere in the village together with Nara Shikaku and Inoichi Yamanaka happened to notice this and asked in amazement all of a sudden.

"It seems so... Truly a very powerful jutsu as they say!" Nara Shikaku answered all of a sudden seriously.

But his mind still going back to the question as to why didn't the eminent Third Hokage already appear on the battlefield? Just what was holding him back?

The gazes of onlookers suddenly turned into a real astonishment. No doubt, that after this night, Might Guy will truly become a big object of worship and respect in this village.

But the feeling didn't last long, as some kind of a giant and a very potent attack started forming in the enraged beast's mouth dangerously now, all of a sudden.

But Minato, the Fourth Hokage, suddenly appeared right on time again, sending the giant bomb away with his "Flying Thunder God: Guiding Thunder" technique.

This barrier technique incorporates the use of the Flying Thunder God formula to erect a barrier space capable of warping away anything that comes into contact with it.

The subject of the technique is then directed to another location marked by the user's formula.

Minato suddenly teleported on top of the Hokage Rock to lend his assistance and get a clearer picture of the beast.

'I must inform the Third of the happenings before!' But just as he was about to do so, he suddenly noticed someone sneaking up from behind him. It was the same dark masked man from before!

He immediately disappeared from this place, Obito swiftly following him in teleportation as well.

At the same time, somewhere else in the same village, at the place most affected by this unexpected attack.

Outside the Uchiha clan's terribly destructed usual headquarters, stood a stern-looking man at the forefront of a large group of other similarly looking shinobi and other civilians.

"For now, we'll just go and help the civilians. It's not our duty to fight the Nine-Tails!" Fugaku suddenly exclaimed determinedly towards his people after sighing a little solemnly.

He already knew that this would probably ostracize them from the village even further, but he simply didn't care anymore.

He already knew, thanks to his Uzumaki ally, that the situation in this village won't ever be the same after this night and the ones to come soon.

"Itachi, come here!" He suddenly opened his eyes a little wide, noticing his son in the distance, carrying his other baby son in his arms, alongside another brown-haired little girl.

"I knew that you would do alright!" Hearing his father's loud praise, young Itachi just nodded plainly, still thinking about the present situation deeply. The girl beside him still just tugging on his shirt softly.
