The Nine-Tails Rampage Day (2)

Konohagakure continued to get demolished by the large and fierce-looking nine-tailed demon fox, in the distance. Large buildings and wooden houses were flying around, severed, alongside the other Konoha's famous infrastructure.

Somewhere outside the village, outside its imposing sensing barrier, stood a confident and excited red-haired young man and an unsure and a little bit worried purple-haired girl.

"Anko, remember, nothing will go wrong, I won't even have to fight anyone, tonight!" Yoshi smirked and looked at Anko confidently all of a sudden, hugging her a little playfully. His towering frame completely overshadowing her girly one right now.

"... You idiot, don't make me wait there for too long then!" She blushed a little, playfully hitting him on his sturdy chest and abs for a bit, as well.

She already decided to leave and betray this village with him tonight, there's actually nothing tying her down to it, more than Yoshi already did.

"Don't worry, It'll be over really quickly!"

"And after this is finally over, I'll take you freely on a little trip around the world!" Yoshi replied a little playfully, but there was really a good reason for them to go on a trip around the world after this is all over.

"Remember, to wait for me on that exact spot, I'm leaving now!" Yoshi replied suddenly while sensing some new happenings in the distance. 'I should start now If I want to make it on time. Kushina is already there, and Minato will come soon, too!'

Even before the Nine-Tails' fierce onslaught officially started, Hiruzen Sarutobi got an unforeseen ominous hunch, back in his own home while looking through a window.

His suspicions were confirmed true once one of his Anbu subordinates came to report the situation to him in a hurry. But, he was already in his war uniform by then.

But, another abrupt and unexpected situation suddenly happened, again. The Anbu who came to report the situation suddenly lunged at him with his kunai.

Thankfully for him, he managed to dodge it on time, thanks to his battle-hardened reflexes and the strong armor he now wore.

"Who are you!?" He already entered his famous battle stance, waiting to hear the response of this unexpected intruder, in his own home.

"Fufu~, 'Sensei' you can't even recognize your own 'disciple' now!?" The shinobi's eyes suddenly turned scary yellow with dangerous snake-like slits as pupils.

"Orochimaru!" Sarutobi looked at this scene in a state of utter disarray, even rubbing his own eyes a little in shock.

"I've come today to murder you, and you should've expected this already!" Orochimaru nodded a little after seeing his reaction, replying both playfully and seriously just now.

"Orochimaru..." Hiruzen suddenly looked at his disciple a bit complicatedly. He truly didn't expect this day to come so soon...

"How did you know about today?" Orochimaru came at the worst possible moment for them, so he must've known about it before, Hiruzen thought discerningly.

"Well, one little bird simply told me about it, haha!" Orochimaru suddenly laughed mocking him even further.

'Who was it!!?' Hirzuen thought murderously, showing a really thick killing intention all of sudden, even Orochimaru grew a little surprised seeing this.

'I have no time to waste here!'

"Orochimaru you're still not on my level, at all!"

"The person who leaked you our information, I'll make you spill his name out!"

Hiruzen suddenly showed his real side after many years of continuously wearing various masks.

"Haha, yes seeing your true face like that, makes this fight even more exciting!" Orochimaru suddenly exclaimed fiery, licking his lips a little as well.

"Wind Release: Breakthrough!"

"Wind Release: Breakthrough!"

Somewhere in a looming forest, two men stood in front of each other resolutely.

'A shinobi who outmaneuvered the Anbu assigned under the Third's direct control...'

'Who slipped through a top-secret barrier, and who knew the Nine-Tails seal would weaken during childbirth...'

'Furthermore, he undid the Nine-Tails seal himself and even tamed it subsequently...'

'I know of only one shinobi capable of this...'

"Are you Uchiha Madara?" Minato suddenly asked unexpectedly, after deliberating for a while.

"No, that's impossible, he's dead!" Minato abruptly changed his opinion yet again.

"I wonder about that..." Obito just replied nonchalantly in the same hoarse tone of voice after hearing him.

"At this point, it doesn't matter who you are, but why are you targeting Konoha?" Minato asked seriously.

"I could say I did it on a whim, or that I planned it," Obito replied, in the same way, again.

'I must take this guy, right here, right now, so that he doesn't become a nuisance later,' Minato thought resolutely again, already ride to strike.

"Now that I freed Nine-Tails, you people have no hope left!" Obito said mockingly, before springing into an attack himself.

And as Minato was about to strike him with his kunai, the weapon just weirdly passed through his enemy.

'It's as I thought, physical attacks have no effect on him...'

'I can only aim at him when we both strike blows!'

Minato thought observantly, already figuring him out, ready to end this battle quickly.

'Minato-sensei, it seems like you truly didn't recognize me...'

'Then I can only kill you now, without you realizing who exactly did it!'

'One of your precious students whom you left all alone during that battle!'

Obito thought a little emotionally behind the mask, all of sudden, not realizing the current danger of the special kunai he allowed to pass right through his head, just now.

And, when Obito's hand was just about to reach Minato, an unexpected thing happened, Minato suddenly teleported to the previous passed-through kunai's location behind Obito, managing to land a successful Rasengan hit, marking him as well in the process.

'Damn it! He flew to that kunai from earlier!' Obito thought painfully as a sharp blue orb was now getting rapidly drilled straight into his back.

"You got me, I should've never let my guard down-" Obito who already teleported into the distance after the attack, exclaimed painfully while breathing hard.

And just then, another sudden blow hit him in the stomach again.

'Flying Thunder God Jutsu!'

'So that's it, he marked my body somewhere!'

'Not good, a contract seal!'

'He intends to separate the Nine-Tails from me?'

"With this, the Nine-Tails no longer belongs to you!" Minato stated confidently all of sudden.

"I must hand it to the Fourth Hokage. You wounded me and managed to sever my ties with the Nine-Tails! However, the Nine-Tails will become my plaything again!"

Obito who already teleported into the distance to safety suddenly started speaking while rapidly disintegrating into some kind of an inexplicable spatial vortex.

"I'm going to take over the world..."

"And there are so many ways to go about doing that!"

Finally, he completely disappeared from the place, Minato just looking at that seriously, before disappearing promptly himself, heading straight towards his wife, as well.

'That tone... He was not joking around...'

'A truly dangerous person...'

'Naruto...'

Back to the other battle, between student and a teacher near the Konohagakure, tonight.

Hiruzen, who was not too far away from his prime years, successfully pushed Orochimaru into a corner, efficiently driving him outside the Konoha's perimeters after a while, with his summoned long and portable stick weapon, The Monkey King, Enma!

"Orochimaru, tell me who gave you the information in the first place, and I promise you to be a little lenient!" Hiruzen looked at him seriously, Orochimaru was currently in really bad shape. His clothes were torn and he had blood marks on his face.

'This is bad...'

'I still didn't manage to incorporate the mutative enzymes from Jugo's blood...'

"It's still not over yet, Hiruzen!" Orochimaru suddenly licked his lips a little, not calling Hiruzen, a teacher, even in a joke anymore.

'What else does he have?' Hiruzen thought curiously, with an ominous hunch rising inside him again.

"Don't tell me...?" Hiruzen suddenly opened his eyes extremely wide.

"Yeah, you realized it, fufu..." Orochimaru licked his lips dangerously as he slammed his hand right onto the ground quickly, "Summoning: Worldly Resurrection!"

Right in front of the Konoha itself, a very fierce battle was currently still being fought against the dangerous large beast.

Might Guy was the first line of their defense, directly fighting against the mighty Nine-Tails, with his exceptional taijutsu skills alone.

Other Konoha's shinobi, just remained on the side, watching in awe and stealthy supplementing him with their jutsu attacks and explosive seals.

However, they realized that this couldn't go for much longer. Might Guy's whole body was hurting from using this double-edged technique continuously, and his attacks were slowly getting weaker.

And, just as his heart started wavering a little, he suddenly felt a soft male hand landing on top of his shoulder.

"L-Lord Hokage!!" He flinched in surprise, seeing this familiar blond's face.

"Guy, you did extremely well this time, go back and rest now!" Minato looked at him softly and sincerely praised him.

People like Guy were truly both rare and great, worthy of being the true carriers of the Will of Fire.

"Understood..." Guy replied pretty tiredly, feeling a little proud as well.

Other shinobi also looked relieved that their Fourth Hokage finally came to help.

Nonetheless, they were all also wondering about one other thing, where exactly was the famed Third Hokage?

Minato honestly also wondered about that a little as well, but he didn't have much time to continue thinking about it, as the Nine-Tails in the distance seeing him arriving, started preparing another big tailed beast bomb to welcome him.

"Summoning Jutsu: Gamabunta!" Minato decided in a second to have this personal summon restrain the Nine-Tails while he prepared the teleportation again.

Gamabunta is truly comparable in size to a Tailed Beast. He is colored in a dull, rusty red, but around his eyes and on his lips and chest are brighter red markings.

Over his left eye, he received a scar at some point in the past. His tongue has a series of stud-like piercings on both the upper and lower side.

He summoned it directly on top of the Nine-Tails, not even managed to say hello to it.

His face started getting more and more intense and sweaty, as he was preparing the teleportation seal to completely move the Nine-Tails towards his furthest marked safe house, where his wife and son currently were.

And after a while, his face suddenly turned happy again, he really managed to do it!

Minato panted hard as he held Kushina and his son, teleporting them away now from the destroyed safe house where the Nine-Tails directly landed just now.

Kushina's face suddenly turned very resolute for a moment, before coughing up some blood suddenly,

Numerous yellow chains suddenly popping up, straight from her back, going right towards the Nine-Tails in the distance, entrapping it firmly, "I'll take the Nine-Tails with me to the death..."

"It's all I can manage now, with the little chakra I have left..." She groaned weakly.

"If I were to imagine our future with the three of us together as a family, I can't picture us being anything but truly happy..."

"I just have one regret, I wish that I could see Naruto, all grown up..."

"There is no need for you to die in order to kill the Nine-Tails, I'm going to seal the rest of your chakra inside Naruto. I'll take the Nine-Tails with me!"

"I'll seal one half inside me, using that jutsu, and the other one inside Naruto, using the Eight Trigrams Seal!" Minato explained determined, already deciding in a moment.

"This boy holds the future of this world!"

"He's the key to defeating that mysterious man!"

"Reaper Death Seal!" He suddenly stood up, doing some kind of hand motions,

After the hand seals were performed, Minato's soul partly separated from his body and suspended behind him into the air.

Behind his soul appeared a creepy-looking Shinigami who restrained his soul with his hair.

"After all, this child is our son, Kushina!"

"Minato, I don't want to let him bear such a heavy burden!" Kushina suddenly shouted from the ground indignantly, already understanding what kind of fate could await her son as the next Jinchuriki, even more so, if Minato sacrifices himself now, too.

"Why use the Reaper Death Seal!?" Kushina yelled again.

But, before Minato, managed to begin his impassionated speech now, that he's somehow doing it for the greater good, another male voice suddenly resounded playfully in the looming grass field.

"Reaper Death Seal? Wasn't that a part of the Uzumaki clan's 'Forbidden Book of Seals' before?"

"Why do you have it now, then?"

"The only possible explanation is..."

"That old wretch Mito Uzumaki and Konoha already duped us all, a very long time ago..."

Kushina and Minato suddenly open their eyes wide in shock, a subtle feeling of dread immediately rising inside them.

"Y-Yoshi...? What are you doing here...?" Kushina suddenly looked at him weakly and asked a bit fearfully and apprehensively.

Minato from the side also felt his blood turning cold, all of sudden, out of the sheer shock he experienced just now, 'Just how did he find that we were here!? What's his purpose!?'

"Ehh, Kushina, I'll be direct to you for once in a while. The only reason I've come here is to take the Nine-Tails, and seal it inside of me next!" Yoshi replied seriously but suddenly grinned near the end.

"What!?" Both of them suddenly exclaimed at the same time anxiously.

"No need to be so surprised now, every man, in fact, desires a bit of power for himself..." Yoshi just continued honestly.

"I truly misjudged you before, Yoshi... Everyone did..." Minato suddenly sighed hard, the supposedly best day of his life suddenly turning into the worst one instead.

He had practically no chakra left at this moment, so what should he do now?

Seal this obvious clone in front of himself, into the belly of the reaper?

"So you mean to tell me that all that pretense I did before, was worth it and paid off in the end? I'm so thankful..." Yoshi replied sincerely all of sudden. It was truly hard practically wearing a mask every time you go outside for seventeen years straight, already.

"But, after I take the Nine-Tails now, Minato, I won't have to pretend nor be afraid of anyone ever again!" He said confidently and freely again. His inner pride could finally be unleashed, without any restraints, onto this world.

"Yoshi, I beg you, please don't kill Naruto!" Kushina suddenly, unexpectedly, kowtowed down, her head hitting the cold ground hard. Today was just too much for her and she doesn't know what to do anymore from all the stress she experienced.

Minato looked at this, torn apart, with tears forming in his eyes.

"Truly just a simple woman in the end...

I used to blame you in the past but now I know it was really silly of me.

Clan? Hometown? It's all nothing in front of a woman who's in love! It's in your nature!"

Yoshi suddenly realized something, Kushina didn't know any better from the beginning, even though she belonged to a very prominent clan, she was still only a woman in the end after all.

How could you hate dogs for barking, if it's in their nature?

"I won't kill him, I'll even take him to the Konoha right now!"

'His Asura reincarnation soul could prove to be quite critical in the future, I should still leave some options on the table just in case...' The real Yoshi outside the field thought calculatedly, his fingers started moving weirdly all of a sudden.

Large and numerous yellow chains springing up from his back already. Some of them went towards the Nine-Tails in the distance, and some of them directly towards Kushina and Minato nearby.

They were currently hugged together, countless emotions mixed in their eyes, but mostly it was just pure sadness.

They were soon directly pierced by them, promptly dying from all the chakra draining.

The Nine-Tails was now also slowly and indignantly getting sealed away by Yoshi inside of him.

After a while, Yoshi also went towards the husband's and wife's dead bodies, gathering a few parts of their flesh, and then swiftly sealing it away, inside a special-made scroll, for later unconventional uses if the need arises.

The Eight Trigrams Sealing Style is a fuinjutsu of the Uzumaki clan.

A Four Symbols Seal is used to seal a large enemy or an evil spirit into a target, such as an object or a human's body,

A stronger seal is created if two Four Symbols Seals are used; this is called the Eight Trigrams Sealing Style.

This was the seal that Yoshi used to place and cage the beast inside him. As for how will he approach extracting the entirety of its very potent chakra reserves, he still didn't think about that through yet.

'Orochimaru already left as well? And he lost that badly?' Yoshi suddenly thought very intriguingly, noticing the somewhat unexpected outcome of that battle, 'But, Hiruzen... You won't get away!'

'Danzo, as well, you'll both get killed by me!'

Yoshi thought while running towards a specific location somewhere in the Land of Fire.

He was now going to meet up with Anko again for now!
