Let's start this how we usually do, Hello. My name is Corvania imzael Thalis, Descendent of Else Virion Thalis. I have traveled across the entire world and, in my adventures, have experienced many difficulties. I hope That, in writing these books, new and inexperienced adventurers have some sort of warning and knowledge before braving the world. In this text, I will write about my home town Else Thalis, but before that, I will give a brief overview of the world as I know it.
This text will talk little about the history of the world and is more focused on the dos and don'ts. Aegisfell, the current name of the world, has 5 continents totaling 10 different nations and many different races inhabiting them.
Of the 5 known continents, 3 are formed together in a vast landmass called Oraeos, mainly referred to as the mainland. Across a vast sea, to the west is Tragios, a single continent almost the size of Oraeos but not quite.
To the East of Oraeos, not that far from the eastern shore, is the Marinfell Conclave, a collection of small and medium-sized islands united together under The marinfell, 1 of the ten nations. Let's move on to the different nations of the world. Know that this Edition is only meant for Else Thalis and will only give brief details on other Citys and Nations.
Celeneia-The largest nation covering a large portion of the northwest corner of Oraeos. It has a diverse population but is considered a Human capital.
Helolur-The Smallest Nation located in the mountains of the South-west of Oraeos. It is the capital of the dwarves and is the least diverse nation.
Celeste-Located between Helolur And Celeneia, it is the second smallest nation, The homeland of the Demon and Spirit-kin. It should be noted that Celeste has a reputation of being the safest nation, owing to its geographical location and technological advancements.
Norsaria-Located east of Celeneia and west of Allrion. Home Of the dragon tribes and their kin. The land here is a divide between wastland and oasis, likely because of the abuse of magic leylines in the earth.
Allrion-Located in the Northeast and Mid-east parts of Oraeos. It is the Elven Capitol and home to a large abundance of Spirits. The entirety of Allrion consists of a forest with the only clearings being made by hand.
The last nation in Oraeos doesn't have an official name but has been generally accepted to be called the wilds. The wilds are a combination of jungle and desert and is the second-largest nation. It is home to the many different demi-beast nomadic tribes and has only four cities, Each with a different species of demi-beast ruling.
Tragios is divided between three nations, each with an equal amount of land. Tragios's population is quite unique as it's the only continent to accept Evolved monsters as an official race. Tragios' most dominant race is evolved monsters, though the population is still quite varied.
Qusarth-located in the northern part of tragios.
Wanesooth-Located in the western part of tragios.
Erabos-Located in the eastern part of tragios.
Though not much can be said about each nation separately, it should be known that tragios is home to the most extensive and permanent dungeon, The Labyrinth, located in the very center of the continent.
To the east of Oraeos is the marinfell conclave, and it is considered its own continent and nation. The collection of islands is also known as the pirate nation after it was founded after the pirate queen, Eveline 'The Phantom' Rose.
If you want any more information on these nations and their cities, seek out my other guides to the world.
The following text will contain the laws distributed by the world council for those that don't already know them.
These actions can result in imprisonment, fines, slavery, or execution.
Murder, Assault, Theft, Treason, Trespassing on private property, Illegal gambling, disturbing the peace, Public Drunkenness and/or lewdness, Possession of illegal items, Sexual actions without consent, Use of magic in no magic zones, Possession of weapons in no weapon zones, Illegal Slavery, Selling items or services without a proper permit, Impersonating someone of power.
These are the most common laws. Any not listed here would only net you a warning which I'm sure you can handle.
Now to the part where you've been reading for.
Else Thalis is an Elven city on the eastern shore of Oraeos and the third most diverse city in the world. Its location on the coast makes it a prime location for trade with most of the world. Else Thalis' ruling matriarchy is separate from the Elven royalty due to its self-sustaining and open nature. The Guardians of Else Thalis are the sentinels, A large group of elite soldiers and mages with a history older than Else thalis itself. The Headquarters of the Sentinels is called The Anvil. A large and highly fortified fort in the western district of the city.
Speaking of, the city is divided into 5 separate districts.
North-The Impoverished district.
East-Industrial and port area.
South-Only upper nobility and royalty and their guests are allowed there.
Western-Its where most of the ordinary folk live
The middle district is the most interesting. It houses most of the shops and facilities in the city, including a main branch of the Adventurers association.
Though there are a hundred different shops, my personnel favorite is the /--/--/--/--/--/--/ it has everything a traveler would need, but it's not easy to find. The most reliable way to find it is to /--/--/--/--/--/--/--/--/ and then /--/--/--/--/--/--/--/ buts it's more complicated than it sounds. Having a place like that around certainly makes everything a little bit more-

That's as far as I got into the book. I'll have to find the time to read the rest of it later and maybe find a version that's not as dated. Some parts were utterly ineligible, but I gained a grail of knowledge in the end. Looking up to the rising sun, I feel a tempting fatigueness creeping up, but it's overshadowed by the prospect of getting to the city after a whole two days. I've said this before and will say it again: Sitting in one place for too long really takes a toll...Well, I can't complain when I'm in this position. Looking to my left, I see Thalia still asleep and wonder if I should wake her, but as if she sensed I was watching her, her eyes slowly opened. I say nothing as she adjusts herself in her seat and readjusts her cloak. Once she seems comfortable, I greet her, "Good morning. I'm not sure, but I think we're almost there."
Before speaking, she takes a moment, "Yes, I recognize the scenery. It shouldn't be but a few more hours...How was it during the night? Anything happens?"
"Nothing at all," I say. A few more hours, huh. I can feel my anticipation rising with each second. Finally! Though I don't want to take anything for granted, it's been excessively..boring.
"You look excited," Thalia says.
"What's not to be excited about," I reply.
She doesn't say anything but simply nods. There's something here that I'm missing. Hmmm. I can pry but should I? It could mess things up if I say the wrong thing, but saying something is better than nothing. Let's start with the basics.
"You know..." I say to grab her attention, "You've told me a lot, but you haven't really told me much about yourself."
