Having fun?

He pulled her up from her seat and she made a show of leading him to the outdoor patio. Fei Huangjin couldn't help staring at her hand in his.

Her hands were slim and rough, much unlike the soft and delicate ones of the women who usually surrounded him. But it was also proof of how different she was. And he liked this hidden Ying Yue that he'd uncovered.

The breeze ruffled her hair, and Ying Yue tucked several loose strands behind her ear.

Wandering eyes watched their every move. The pair stood against the railing looking at each other, one with a serious, pensive look and the other in a half-smile.

Fei Huangjin stepped closer and bent his head to whisper at her ear. Anyone who saw them would think they were flirting. "There's an exit from the patio that leads to the garden."

Ying Yue took out her hand in his and used her hand to tug at his suit collar. "And if my memory serves me right, the garden leads to the riverside wharf."

"Have you been here before?" How does she know these things?

"We had a meeting here a few months back and I have a habit of studying the place before we get there." She looked up at him, looking proud of herself. The back of her neck ached a bit while she stood there with him. She knew Fei Huangjin was tall, but now that she was this close to the man, it made her realize that even in heels, she still stood somewhere around his chin.

Ying Yue slid up her hands to hook them behind his neck.

A corner of his mouth rose up. "What are you doing?"

"Staking my claim," she said confidently.

"You know, I could just as easily release a statement to the underworld that you're my woman." His hands crept to her waist, pulling her in closer. "There wouldn't be a need to put on a show."

Alarm bells rang in Ying Yue's head. She was getting a bit too close to the man. She had to remember why she was dating him. "But would they believe it? And also," she brought her lips closer to his, "where's the fun in that?"

Fei Huangjin tensed. He could feel his rod start to harden and he discreetly pulled his hips back so she wouldn't notice. Damn this woman. She was really testing his control.

"We'll run on the count of three, okay?" Ying Yue grinned.

"Okay." He released her reluctantly, but he took one of her hands and held it tightly in his. He really liked the feel of holding her hand.

He should've dated her sooner. But how was he to know there was actually more to his secretary than just her pretty face and smart mouth?

Besides, he never liked the concept of dating before.

"1…" Ying Yue turned away to look at the river. "2…" She squeezed his hand. "…3."

Together they ran to the stairs that led from the patio to the garden. They could hear the patio door open and several people rushing out, but they didn't turn back.

Fei Huangjin was running slightly ahead of her, pulling her to him. Her heels were slowing her down. They were already passing through the garden, rushing past the carefully-landscaped trees and bushes.

"Turn left!" Ying Yue panted.

He followed her instructions and pulled her to the left.

"Right then left!"

They turned right at the fork in the garden and after they turned another left, they could both see the stairs leading down to the riverside.

Fei Huangjin tugged at her, "Let's go."

They slowed down when they ended up at the riverside wharf, faintly hearing the sounds of footsteps up in the garden. Ying Yue panted then giggled softly. She could just imagine Big Boss freaking out at Juyan right now.

A deep voice rang in her ears. "Having fun?"

She turned to Fei Huangjin standing beside her, eyeing her with interest. The way he stood calmly with a hand in his pocket and his mouth in a thin smile, looked a lot like he wasn't running just now.

Well, if he thought they were done, he was in for a surprise. "Come on." She took his arm and thankfully, he allowed himself to be pulled to the edge of the wharf.

"Shouldn't we be finishing our date now?"

"We are." She tugged on his sleeve and turned to a man who was untying his fishing boat. "Good evening, sir! Could we catch a ride on your boat?"

The man scratched his head, wondering why a well-dressed couple was trying to get on his boat. "Eh? This isn't the ferry. I'm going out for fishing." He ignored them and went back to untying his boat.

She frowned. Her pretty face might not work on this man, she thought.

Seeing her displeased, Fei Huangjin pulled her to him with a reassuring look. "If you want to go on a river cruise, we can take my yacht." The fishing boat would be uncomfortable to be in anyway.

In the distance, Ying Yue saw a few men getting out from the garden stairway. She shook her head at Fei Huangjin with an exasperated sigh. "We don't have time for that, come on." She turned to the man who was about to hop on his boat. "Please sir, we just want to ride up front for a bit. We promise we won't disturb you."

The man was about to reject her again, but Fei Huangjin took a couple of notes from his wallet and held it out to him.

"This is for troubling you with her request."

The man looked at him closely. Fei Huangjin leaned forward, revealing a face with a hint of danger. The man stepped back in fear and sighed. He could never understand the world of rich people. "Alright." He took the money and beckoned them over.
