That's bullshit

She gave him a small smile. "A little."

"Do you want me to drop you off at Juyan instead?"

"No, that's okay. You can just send me home. I can call them later." She hurriedly dismissed his suggestion. Juyan never allowed their clients to visit the headquarters. Fei Huangjin wouldn't exactly be welcome over there.

She was putting up walls again.

"Does that mean you're not inviting me to your place?" A corner of his mouth lifted up. He was teasing her.

She rolled her eyes at him. "I don't think the great CEO Fei Huangjin would find my humble abode pleasing."

"That's bullshit."

"In other words, I'm never inviting you in."

"Ouch."

"…" It was better that she be frank with him with things like that. Besides, her home was her sanctuary. And if she got him in there, who knows what he'll find. Her walk-in closet may look shiny and glamorous with all the clothes and shoes she'd accumulated over the years but behind all that -- like, literally behind all of that -- laid her knives, her guns, and her spy gear.

Her closet doubled as an armory. She had Juyan customize it for her. And although Big Boss was against her keeping it, a photo of her with Ying Shen was also there. It was tucked away in the safe, but still. It was a risk to let anyone see it.

She was supposed to burn that photo when she became an agent.

"--Ying Yue."

"Hmm?" She pulled herself back to reality and turned to Fei Huangjin with her eyebrows raised. "I'm sorry, you were saying?"

Fei Huangjin frowned. She shouldn't be spacing out like that. Even if she was thinking about something, it wasn't safe to be one-tracked. She had to learn how to listen to her surroundings with the other ear. Didn't Juyan teach stuff like that?

"I asked you where you live." His lips thinned and his face morphed into slight displeasure.

"Oh. Sea View Horizon."

He glanced at her. "That's not what your resume says."

She eyed him. "If I put that in my resume, wouldn't I be feeding myself to the wolves?"

She was right. Putting her real address in public documents made it easier for anyone to track her down. He pursed his lips in reply and Ying Yue lifted her chin in a self-satisfied way. She always wanted to talk back to her boss. Now she finally could. She snickered.

"Starting tomorrow, I'll pick you up for work and drive you back at night." Fei Huangjin made a turn, keeping his eyes on the road and frequently checking the rearview mirror to see if anyone was following them.

"CEO Fei--"

"Huangjin." He growled.

She grinned, "Huangjin, if my boss lets me out early tomorrow, I'll be getting a new car, so there's no need to do that."

Her boss? Did she mean him? "You don't need to buy a car; I can drive you. Try again." He wasn't going to let her out early if it meant she'd be driving herself and refusing him to take her home every day.

She lifted an eyebrow. "I have people in Juyan who can drive me."

"You're safer with me around. Try again."

"The office will be talking about us if we arrive to work together." She pouted.

"Let them." It would be better for word to spread about them dating. It would be safer for her, too, and more convincing to Wang Longwei. Also, it would keep the other men in the company caged in their seats. Fei Huangjin wasn't blind. He knew how many other male employees purposely passed by outside his office each day just to check out his secretary.

He glanced over at her. "It's safer that way."

Ying Yue gave him a teasing smirk. "Well, if you insist, Huangjin darling."

They arrived in Sea View Horizon safely. Fei Huangjin made sure no one was tailing them and took a longer route. He unbuckled his seatbelt and turned to Ying Yue, who was eyeing him like a cat.

"I liked our date." She smiled happily at him.

"Me, too."

"Really? I thought you were about to vomit back in the fishing boat." She laughed when she saw his face fall at her words.

He twisted his lips and thought about it for a moment. "It wasn't so bad." Slowly, he took her hand and brought it to his lips, planting a soft kiss on her knuckles. "Have lunch with me every day, okay?"
