I think so, yeah

She thought about it for a moment but left it at that. Her eyes then flitted from Xi Shenghui to the coffeemaker, and she realized that for the first time, someone actually made her coffee at work rather than the other way around. Not including the multiple times she had ordered from coffee shops, of course.

Ying Yue may have just recently met

A complicated look appeared on Xi Shenghui's face for a split-second, faster than any eye could see, and when Ying Yue's eyes landed on him, his face was already stoic and unreadable.

"By the way, I don't know if Big Boss told you," she rubbed the back of her neck quite ungracefully, subtly showing the unease she felt at that moment. it was a tad awkward to tell someone you're getting married. "Fei Huangjin wants me to marry him, and I don't think there's a problem with that."

Xi Shenghui froze for a moment, and then bent down to take out the cups from the dishwasher to hide the fact that he didn't know what to say.

"Can you believe I'm going to be a married woman?" She laughed at the thought of herself doing domestic things, like cooking and cleaning, and then winced the next second when she realized that the only thing she knew how to cook were eggs and instant noodles.

"You sure you want to get married?" His voice came out a bit hoarse, and he cleared his throat as Ying Yue glanced at him with a pondering look.

Did she?

Being with him made her forget about the real issues in life. When they were together, it always seemed like there was only the two of them in the world. Being with him was full of teasing, arguing, and laughing. But despite all of that, she liked it. She liked it a lot.

Unknowingly, her lips curved up into an unmistakable smile. "I think so, yeah."

A man in an emerald green blazer over a black turtle neck and trousers glanced at the spacious secretary's area outside Fei Huangjin's office and the large empty desk in it.

He had expected to meet the charmingly famed Secretary Ying who was said to be on the way to become the Fei family's future madame. However, he was instead greeted by an empty waiting area and an empty desk. Glancing at his Patek Philippe, he saw that it was already the designated meeting time with Fei Huangjin. He decided to take matters in his own hands, and he placed one hand in his trouser pocket as he strode over to the CEO's office.

He rapped at the door three times.

A sound of affirmation came from inside and he gingerly opened the door with a polite smile.

Fei Huangjin was busy scribbling on a document when the man came in and closed the door behind him. "Ying Yue--"

He looked up, expecting to see his secretary, but was instead greeted by a familiar face with the softest features of a boy on his face. Fei Huangjin stood up from his seat, surprise coloring his face as he fixed his gaze on one of his childhood friends.

"Su Jianjun?"

The man across him broke out into a smile, making him seem five years younger than he actually was. "Fei Huangjin. It's been a while. Oh, excuse me for being impolite. I should call you CEO Fei now." Both his hands were now in his pockets as he felt Fei Huangjin eyeing him interestingly.

It had been more than 15 years since the last time they'd seen each other. The Su family used to live near them, and the young Su Jianjun was always tailing after Fei Huangjin, Zhang Zihan, and Xiao Yifeng. To be honest, he was a bit of a nuisance to the three friends, but they let him be.

"You suddenly disappeared after middle school." The whole Su family suddenly moved elsewhere, and the young boy who trailed after them had suddenly gone without a proper goodbye. Fei Huangjin circled his desk and beckoned him over to one side of his office. He took his seat on an armchair with one leg perpendicularly across his knee and motioned to the couch across him. "Sit. How have you been?"

A stream of sunlight through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows hit Su Jianjun's face, making his caramel-colored irises shine like balls of light. There was a mysterious touch to them, despite the open smile on his handsome face. "Same as I've ever been. Our family had some personal issues to take care of back then, so we had to move. However, that's not why I've come to see you. I'm here on behalf of the Changsu Shipping Company."

"Oh?" Fei Huangjin's black eyes glinted with steel.
