"Sister-in-law, what's up next on my schedule?"
Ying Yue narrowed her eyes at Fei Haocheng, who was grinning from ear to ear as he leaned against her desk. Fei Huangjin had been gone for two days already, leaving instructions with Haocheng to seek her help for any difficulties he would have. But the younger brother seemed to ask her help in everything.
"Hoacheng-- Vice President Fei," she corrected herself with a grimace, "I'm aware that you have your own secretary, and I've already forwarded Huangjin's schedule to him, which means that you don't need to come to me for trivial matter such as this." Not feeling the need to be polite to him, Ying Yue swiveled her seat around to face her computer.
"But sister-in-law, don't you want to help me?" His lower lip jutted out into a pout as he stared at her back. "Isn't it better to talk to me instead of your computer? Also, it's difficult to talk freely to my personal secretary. I'd much rather have you around."
She ignored him, and he suddenly felt aggrieved.
"Hey! Don't ignore me! I'm still your superior, you know."
Hearing this, Ying Yue turned to him with an eyebrow raised. She finally began to understand why women began to refuse him after a few dates.
Fei Haocheng saw that she wasn't going to budge and tried the pitying tactic once more. "Please, sister-in-law?"
Ying Yue rolled her eyes and sighed. Seeing that she had given up with resisting him, Fei Haocheng sat on her desk like a little kid, clasping his hands together as she pulled up the week's schedule in her computer. "You have a meeting with Director Su of Changsu over lunch."
"What's the agenda? Is there anything I need to prepare for? The terms…" he prattled on. However, Ying Yue wasn't listening. She was squinting her eyes at Su Jianjun's name.
There was still something fishy about Su Jianjun. The man was anything but simple, and she was worried that he would take a strike on Fei International while Huangjin was away. If he did and she allowed it to happen, she would never be able to forgive herself.
"…said that I should be on my guard for this one. I'm not sure why but I--"
"I'm going with you." She eyed Fei Haocheng with a fiery look that made him stop talking mid-way. His mouth was still ajar as he looked back at her with mild surprise. "I'm going with you for this meeting. I know all about the contract and the terms with Changsu, and I know what this meeting was ultimately for."
With that, his mouth finally closed shut and he nodded to agree. "Sure, sure. I knew my sister-in-law was willing to help me!"

The hostess led her and Haocheng to a table at the far corner of the restaurant, where a dashing Su Jianjun was already eyeing her from afar with a provocative look on his face.
"Sister-in-law, why is that man is looking at you like he wants to eat you?"
Ying Yue ignored his question. "Put on your business look. We're here for work," she whispered back.
He immediately cleared his throat and turned serious.
When the two of them drew near, Su Jianjun stood up to his full height and lowered his head to both of them, greeting them with good manners and a light mood. Then, he asked a waiter for four glasses of water to be sent to them straight away. "Miss Su, I've read the news. Congratulations for your recent marriage to CEO Fei."
Su Jianjun's tone seemed friendly, but she could detect a hint of sarcasm under the thick layer of politeness. "Thank you, Director Su."
The man turned to Fei Hoacheng with a smile. "Vice President Fei, I've only heard good things about you."
"And the same to you," he nodded back. Unlike Fei Huangjin, Xiao Yifeng, and Zhang Zihan, the younger brother had not been acquainted with Su Jianjun as a child -- especially since he was often at his mother's house.
Fei Haocheng sat opposite him, and Ying Yue sat beside Haocheng.
Once they were all seated, her eyes naturally travelled to the empty seat before her. She had heard him ask for four glasses of water, so who was joining their meeting today?
