Chapter 25

( Hikari's POV )

I heard a loud explosion behind me, I turned around to see a huge fire rising yo the sky. I know only one person who would do that... now he is dead...

I have known him for soo long, we've been together for soo long, doing things together with each other. Experiencing both joys and sorrows together... I was so happy.

I could feel tears running from my eyes. But now it was not a time to mourn, I have a very important duty to finish.

I gripped the scroll that was on my hand tightly. I turned away from the rising fire, and began to sprint towards the border between Kumo and Konoha. Just a few more miles to cover and everything will be over... I hope.

I reached a river, which I took a short rest. Now I have to think ahead of the situation that I'm in right now.

I am all alone against a group of highly trained Kumo ninjas. Frankly, my chances of escaping Kumo is very slim, I am currently still in Kumo territory, which means I'm in Kumo's yard. The know their home turf in and out and the chances of them setting an ambush for me is certain.

So now I need a distraction... and I have a plan.

I bit my thumb and blood flowed from it. I perform a few hand signs and...

" SUMMONING JUTSU~!!! "

I slammed my hand to the ground, with a puff of smoke, my summoned animal was summoned~!!!

"How can I assist you Hikari-sama?" a small black centipede spoke to me, his voice was like that of a young boy.

"Yes Genki-kun I have a job for you." This is Genki-kun, my special delivery summoning. My summonings are all centipede related. they boast of great offensive and defensive capabilities, but what special about centipede is how versatile they are.

" I want you to take this scroll and deliver it to the Hokage. Is that understood? "

" Yes, Hikari-sama."

I gave the scroll to Genki-kun who held it in his mandibles.

" Hikari-sama, I just want to let you know, please be safe."

" Don't worry, it would take a lot to take me down. " I said with a smile, which was fake.

Genki-kun reverse summoned himself and disappeared with a puff of smoke.

Now it is my time to shine...

I continued my escape from Kumo territory. It was a long run, if I'm not wrong I had run for hours straight, so therefore, it would be three in the morning now. After a few more minutes, I stopped and hid behind a large rock...Well, things are going according to plan.

I poke my head at the top of the rock and saw 20 to 30 ninja just beginning to set up an ambush for me. They were gaurding the edge of a forest in a box formation, so as to precisely intercept a foe with deadly accuracy.

Now was the time to put the plan to use. If everything goes according to the plan, I could escape from Kumo without a scratch.

Well here goes nothing~!

I sprinted straight towards the edge of the forest, before I could enter the forest Kunais and shirukens were thrown at me, I backfliped three times avoiding the incomming barrage of weapons thrown at me.

I did a few backflips and evaded the attack, I immediately turned back and started running away from them.

" AFTER HER!!! "

One Kumo ninja shouted, all the other ninjas started chasing me. Well atleast the plan worked...

Somewhere in the forest...

I can't believe those idiots fell for a simple distraction. I used a shadow clone, to create a simple distraction so that I can escape and it worked beautifully.

I just need to cover a few more miles and I'll enter the vast territory of the land of fire.

Just a few more...

" LARIAT !!!"

Something.Had hit me. And it sent me crashing to a tree with such force, that it ultimately broke.

I felt so weak. I looked at my chest and there was a huge hole on it. I coughed and gagged at my own blood. I turned to look at my attacker.

" Stop your futile efforts, your death is certain." It was dark skinned man, with a muscular build, he was none other than the Raikage's son, A.

" Just tell me where is scroll and I'll reward you with a swift death. "

" Y-You. Will. N-N-Never find it." I said between coughs of blood.

" So it seems I have been too late. " A said in disappointment. " Since I was ordered not to leave any survivors, I have to kill you! Any last words ?" He raised his closed fist aiming a punch at my skull.

I am loosing too much blood... my vision is getting blurry... huh, looks like my time has come... I wish I had more time to do some stuff back at home. I will miss everyone soo much. But I'll miss my son very much. I just wish I could just meet him one last time, hear his voice one last time, run my fingers on his hair one last time, I just want to be with him one last time.

But that won't happen...

I smirked at man infront of me, " Tell this, to the scum you call a father ! That Hell, will be the place he will rot for eternity!"

I summoned the last of my chakra, and formed a one seal.

" KAI!!!"

A looked at me, little confused. I continued smrking at him.

"Tell the Demons in Hell that I send them my warm greetings."

Smoke started to come out from my clothes. It was suicide bomber's vest. It was filled with lots and lots of paper bombs, enough to destroy anything.

"SHIT!!!" A Cursed at the amount of paper bombs.

All I see now was a bright light blinding my eyes. As I adjusted the lights, I saw my husband sitting at a marble seat, that was surounded by a multitude of flower of different kinds and species. This is a very nice place... I'm glad I'm
