Planning and Executing

It was currently the afternoon and Yamishi was on his way to drop Misa off at her home. The two sat at a traffic light and waited for it to change to green.

"What was that thing you were talking about the other day? It was something to do with the cults new members I believe, " Said Yamishi as he sat in his car next to Misa.

"Oh, you mean that. Well, the meeting thing will be this Saturday at 9:30 am at the old abandoned HHJ Hotel. They will be bringing a bunch of new members into the cult and if you were to demonstrate your powers to them it may just mean that they are all the more loyal to the cause," replied Misa.

Misa was what the Kira Cult knew as the envoy of Kira. The cult trusted her and had suggested a possible demonstration of their Gods powers to the audience which would attend. Misa also believed this was a good idea so she told them that their God of death would think about it. She had also told the cult that the power of death wasn't something to put on a show and that they shouldn't hold their breath hoping for the demonstration of Kira's power to occur.

Nevertheless, Yamishi seemed to like the idea and so he thought. 'Hmm, I can definitely see this helping my cause' he thought.

The light went green and Yamishi's car took off down the road.

"Ok, I'll do it. Just make sure you sort out all the planning as I have other things to do for today." Yamishi said whilst speeding down the city streets.

The pair had now reached the housing districts of Tokyo and were only around five minutes from Misa's home.

Once Misa had finalised her steps she would message Yamishi with their untraceable phones in order to not be caught.

Finally, Misa was dropped off at her house and Yamishi said goodbye.

He drove home as usual. Once home he wrote some new names into the note and did some study, worked out, had a shower and went to bed.

As he got into his warm bed he received the long-awaited message from Misa. He opened his untouchable phone and read it.

[Message from unknown user: Heres the plan. I will let the cult know that you have decided to allow them to witness death and that they should prepare some criminals. Once the assembly begins I will be called up to introduce you as the God of death. They will then bring out the criminals which I will tell you the names of through our earpieces. Using the death note, you should kill them in three different ways of your own choice, making sure to keep one victim for a heart attack.]

[Message from unknown user 2: Sounds good. We can speak further tomorrow.]

And like that their plan for the assembly was completed. Yamishi would simply await Misa to read the names of the criminals to him, followed by writing the names into his death note. A rather simple yet effective plan.

Yamishi had waited the entire week for this day to come. It was boring since nothing interesting had occurred apart from the completion of the fabrication workshop which Yamishi would visit the next day.

Yamishi sat in his bedroom waiting for Misa to tell him the names of the criminals who would be killed.

Finally, Misa spoke through the earpiece, "The names are Kagami Yuriko, Kuro Minato and Leo Kurr."

The names all sounded Japanese except for one. Yamishi put this thought behind himself after putting them into a police search engine and concluding they were all criminals of a high calibre. Yamishi who was currently agitated after seeing their offences wrote the names into the death note.

One minute later the effects began to take place. One of the men, a skinny middle-aged man, began scratching at his neck until it bled. The skin from his neck was caught under his own fingernails as he continued scratching without a sound. The crowd watched in anticipation.

"Misa tells them that he committed mass murder, killing 12 children," Yamishi said through the earpiece.

Following her boyfriend's instructions, she told the cult exactly what Yamishi had told her.

The cult began cheering as they heard what horrible things the man had done to deserve Kira's wrath.

Next, was an extremely overweight middle-aged man. He began smashing his head into the ground until parts of his brain fell out. This, in turn, led to his quick death.

The last man, a rather simple looking guy, sat in silence waiting for his own death. Sweat dripped from his head as he prayed to any God who would listen.

Soon the man stopped all movement. He was dead. The guy had died from a simple heart attack. Kira's signature move.

Misa spoke, even without Yamishi asking her too. "This man was not even worth Kira's time and therefore died in the same exact way that a regular criminal would."

The crowd who was already cheering like crazy got even louder. They now had seen Kira's power in person. They could now serve him to the best of their abilities as they had seen the truth of Kira.

It is very difficult to consider that a god of death who has possessed a human could die, but if he should die, the Death Note that he brought into the human world will not lose its power.
