Isaiah's gaze fell upon an evolepe with a royal seal of the kingdom of Wind beside the man. It's a small but prosperous kingdom. 


I was wondering how to enter the palace of kingdom of Darkness without being suspected but it just seems like a wonderful opportunity knocked at my door. I'll do this for you instead old man. Isaiah devilishly smirked.


The man was knocked out after being hit on his head.


Isaiah used confusion magic on the man. This type of magic confuses people and muddles their memory which is kind of similar to dementia, just being a lot more effective.


The man fainted again due to the side effects of the magic. 


The girl named Lily stood still. She was too scared that she didnt even realise that Isaiah used magic on the man. 


Isaiah wanted to kill this scum instead of wasting by using his magic on him but he didn't do it because there was a human girl watching.


"Damn" Isaiah swept his hair back frustrated which Lily thought was very hot.


Isaiah was about to leave but stopped because of his sleeve being held by the girl.


Isaiah slipped from the girl's grasp and said, "Young lady,Reach home safely" 


Isaiah continued to walk but Lily followed him.


Annoyed, Isaiah asked, "what do you want?"


"C-an you c-ome with me till the i-mperial city?" Lily blushed while requesting.


"I had to face these kind of men a lot on my way.." Lily pointed at the man, sighed while withdrawing her hand and continued, "Every time I was lucky and I escaped but I am not sure if I'll be lucky enough the next time.. Please, I'll be very thankful if you do that"


Thinking that it's only the trait of stone hearted men to leave a girl in need, he agreed hesitantly.


"Sorry for the inconvenience" Lily dejectedly said.


"If you know that it's troubling for me to do that, you shouldn't have asked" Isaiah chuckled looking at the girl who was in the verge of crying.


"It's okay, My destination is the capital city as well" Isaiah scratched his cheek.


Lily blushed again and followed Isaiah.


While they were on their way to the city, Isaiah enquired Lily about the reason for her to go there, she clearly was a human who most probably wasn't a magician.


He came to know that her mother is a demon and her father is a human but she is a complete human and isn't a half. Her mother died early so, she lived with her father. She was apparently on the way to meet her uncle.


Isaiah felt sympathic towards the girl and was kinder to her than before. 


At night while the girl was sleeping, Isaiah played with the envelope which was placed between his index finger and middle finger.


He was curious to know what was in it but unfortunately he cannot open it. He is absolutely not the kind of person who peeks into the personal things of others. 


Isaiah : I only love my brother! *pouts angrily*
