[No Chap Tomorrow]
Wiping his forehead Leon's fingers came away bloody, ' How am I going to explain this. ' Sighing Leon looked at Ricardo's mutilated body. Leon didn't have a lot of time for the session but he tried to stretch it out as much as possible, tossing the knife aside Leon walked back through the corridors absentmindedly stepping over the corpses and avoiding the pools of blood.
Stepping back out through the main door Leon disappeared just as several men ran from around the corner all armed with handguns. Watching from the rooftops Leon patted himself on the back for a job well done, staying on the rooftops to avoid being spotted Leon dropped down onto the street and opening the door to the warehouse.
Yawning Leon stretched avoiding the sharp needle aimed for his eyes, eyes narrowing Leon looked over to see Machi stepping out from the shadows ' I didn't even sense her, I got sloppy. ' Turning to face the ice queen Leon's eyes narrowed, " You should be careful you could have taken someone's eye out. "
Machi growled as she advanced on Leon, " What were you doing out and don't say taking a stroll, it's faint but you smell like blood. " Putting his hands in his pockets Leon looked upset, " I did what I've always done, making sure people can't mess up my plans. "
Machi glared at Leon a second more before she scoffed and walked away, watching her leave Leon rubbed the back of his head walking over to his own bedroll. Collapsing Leon closed his eyes letting himself drift off to sleep.
Opening his eyes as the sun penetrated his eyelids, Leon looked around to see that he wasn't the first one up, Uvogin and Nobunaga were arm-wrestling over a stack of bricks while Machi tended to some clothes in the corner.
Chrollo was the last person awake as he sat alone reading a book with his eyesight Leon could read the title, ' Of Mice and Men wonder how he got it. ' The book's pages were yellow and torn and the picture on the front cover was faded.
Getting to his feet Leon took a bit of cash before heading towards the door, " I'm heading out I should be back by the end of the day. " The only response Leon got was a grunt from Nobunaga but he couldn't tell if it was from him straining against Uvogin or not.
At the market, Leon pursed the shops looking for a weapon he could use, all those men in the bunker were heavily armored.
And while he could aim for the gaps in their armor it was a pain and he didn't want to caught unarmed again, pursuing the market Leon faintly heard the sound of hammering so he started to move in that direction. Breaking through the crowd Leon saw a stand displaying a wide array of weapons from guns to swords, like a kid in a candy shop Leon started to pursue the weapons. Picking up a weapon every now and then Leon couldn't find a sword that fit him, he had almost lost hope when he made his way to the counter in the back and behind the owner, two items caught his eye.
A short sword that would be perfect for his size. The sword was doubled-edged with a straight blade and a sharp point, the hilt was oval-shaped made out of dark metal. T. " You got nice taste kid, the best piece I have. I don't think it's in your price range though. " At the man's deep voice Leon's eyes fell onto the two respective prices, 8,000 for the sword.
While it was in his price range he would have to go back to the warehouse and he didn't want to carry around so much money again. Sigh Leon realized what he had to do, " Don't sell those items until I get back. " Not waiting for a response Leon turned and ran looking for the items he needed, looking at the spot the white hair kid used to stand the man shook his head, " What a weird kid. "
After twenty minutes of browsing stalls, haggling, and hiring Leon used all of the 1000 dollars he had brought.
The item Hiko had brought was a mask with a red oni face painted on, a black hoodie so Leon could cover up his unique hair and face, and few pieces of furniture with one other addition. The final piece was the most important, under his arm he held a small chest gilled with gold and gems. Inside the chest were coins, jewelry, and gems, finding a small unoccupied spot where a lot of people lingered Leon put down a table at knee height and a small podium next to him.
Sighing Leon stood up on the table now a head higher than most people cupping his hands around his mouth Leon yelled, " Ladies and Gentlemen step right up to win a fortune, put in twenty dollars and you have a chance to win this genuine treasure chest. "
Opening the chest as he finished the gems and gold glinted in the sunlight, murmurs piled on top of each other as people started to form a crowd. " That's right only twenty dollars, and become a rich man or woman. Beat me in an arm-wrestling match and it's all yours, there is no limit to how many times you can try but each time you pay twenty dollars more. "
Leon smiled behind his mask as he heard laughter echo off the tall building walls, ' That's right all according to plan. ' His musing was interrupted as a thin man with muddy brown hair walked up to him and threw a couple of bills on the table, " I hope I don't break your arm kid. " Hopping down from the table Leon scooped up the bill as he sat down, " Alright, everybody get your bets ready. "
Another round of laughter rang through the air but Leon could see money passing hands, ' Alright let's milk this money cow. '
