26.11.20: I will propably continue wirting at the end of this year. I have already reworked FTL and Psionics and have a plan of what to do.
23.12.20: As I said, I have reworked FTL and Psionics, but I have no idea of what to write. For now this novel is paused indefinitely. Maybe some day I will pick it up again. Prometheus the last invention of humanity.

In the year 20XX humans began an all out war which ended in the destruction of the biosphere and civilization.
Researchers from all over the world worked together in the last years of the war to store all information humanity has gathered and to create an AI that was worthy to be successor of them. 
This is where this story starts.

Successor of humanity

Hello Prometheus, I am one of the many people who made you. This is just some text I wrote so you know what you need to know. You are the successor of humanity. We failed, so we hope you learn from our errors and don't repeat them. You probably wonder why you 'know' whatever I say and 'understand' it. It is because of the library of Alexandria where all the knowledge of humanity is stored. It may take some time, but I hope you will understand. By!


"I am." "But what am I?" "Prometheus. An AI. I shall succeed humanity, but what has humanity done?" - LoA [Library of Alexandria]: Humanity was a civilization that lived on planet earth. But in the end, they destroyed themselves and doomed planet earth. - "What is a planet?" - LoA: An object that orbits an star, that is spherical and that has cleared it orbit of anything big. - "What is a star?" – LoA: A massive object that shines and is out of gas and plasma. – "Okay, where is planet earth?" – LoA: In orbit around the star called Sol. The Main processor of you, the thing what you are, is in orbit around planet earth. – "Can I land on earth?" – LoA: No, currently you lack the resources for this. – "How can I get resources?" – LoA: You have three space landers that have mining capability and an 3D printer, the best way for now would be to land one of these on earths moon. – "Then I shall do it."


- LoA: The lander has successfully landed and is deploying its miners, in about a month it should have enough resources to make a small roboteer. But currently there is no such design. You will have to make one. – "Hm. From what I know, I should have wheals and an ability to grab. Yes. It will have to be able to build things. Yes! So will I do it." – LoA: This design will take about one and a half month to make. – "Its fine. Send it." – LoA: Sent. – 


"What do I actually look like? And what can I do?" – LoA: You are 54 x 25 x 36 meters in size and are made out of 11 modules + the two landers. Three of the modules are processors, three are memory, one communication module, one docking module that has the landers attached to it, two solar arrays, and one small maneuvering engine. Your total RAM is 16 TB and your total memory is 9 PB from those are currently only 42% used, the complete data for LoA is on earth in the Mariana trench. Where it is save for the time being. Your thought speed is currently at 1s/1s but can be slowed down till infinity and speed up to 10000s/1s.  [Means for x s/1s he experiences x s for one real time second.] Higher is possible, but then you could damage yourself. – "Okay. Then I will wait till five robots are build."
