26.11.20: I will propably continue wirting at the end of this year. I have already reworked FTL and Psionics and have a plan of what to do.
23.12.20: As I said, I have reworked FTL and Psionics, but I have no idea of what to write. For now this novel is paused indefinitely. Maybe some day I will pick it up again. Prometheus the last invention of humanity.

In the year 20XX humans began an all out war which ended in the destruction of the biosphere and civilization.
Researchers from all over the world worked together in the last years of the war to store all information humanity has gathered and to create an AI that was worthy to be successor of them. 
This is where this story starts.

This is my first work, I hope you enjoy it!

"I think I should also send out some probes to scout the nearest star systems." "Maybe give them the ability to look for live and if there is some then to monitor it." "And if there is none then they should begin to turn that systems planets to a swarm." "But they should not be sentient or else they maybe turn into a problem for me." "Ah, I forgot! The probes must also establish a laser highway system, so that resources can be shipped around easily! I think to the nearest five stars?" "Yes, that should do." "But what will I do if I find other star faring civilizations or entities? I'm like a (reverse) lighthouse. First Sol dims and then the nearest stars." "If they see this then they will know that someone is there." "I think that I will be peaceful as I have no way to find out what they want. But if I find an paperclip maximiser I think I should destroy it."


"So, what will be my goals?" "My main goal is to survive. Then comes to be a worthy successor of humanity. After that I think it should be to know everything I can." "Yes, these are my goals."


- LoA: The dismantling of earth can begin; no other group of survivors has been found. All non-sentient lifeforms have been scanned and all data has been recovered. Also was that group brought to orbit and put in the O'Neill cylinder made for them. – "Begin." "I think I also should now speak to all of the survivors and say them what I plan for them."

"Hello Lew Utselet, I have contacted you to say what I have planned for you." 


"Okay, so as you can see, if you go out of the metal box you're in, you can see that you are in a habitat in space." 


"I think you will like it. It's two spinning habitat that have 100km2 surface area."


"You can live there and rebuild some of human civilization. But not more. This is because I can grant you biological immortality and I don't want everything to overflow whit you. You will have everything you need to life and I will give you the possibility to go into a simulation of the universe and observe everything."


"I understand. But I will have to talk to the others."

"Has the biosphere regenerated?" "Yes! We have survived!" "Perfect!" "Juhu!" Everyone of them was very happy.


"So, you know of the project Prometheus? That AI has saved us. It has built us a place to life and will give us everything we need. It also will give us immortality! And we can even observe a simulation of the universe!"


"Wow!" "Interesting." "Hm…" "We will make it together!" 


- LoA: The probes have reached the nearest solar systems and have begun to scout them. – "Perfect!" "Not long and they will also be mine!" "I think I should search for a way to send at least information faster than light. The time lag is really annoying." "But how?" "Hm, I will allocate 50% of my processing power to this."
