The Year was 695 NE (New Era). The world had long been fucked. With its destruction, the previous law was ripped and a new order was established as a replacement.
The new order was created based on the current Earth.
A world that had been ravaged by different Daemons who crossed over from different worlds and settled in these lands, that is current Earth.
The overall landmass grew with the ocean and the previous countries crumbled. The previous tectonic allocation was now different from the previous era. Earth is now a different world than it used to be.
What used to be seven continents and around 197 countries was no more. Now only Sectors that are scattered throughout the world remain.
These Sectors are divided and are a part of a much larger power known as Divisions. The Sectors have their own Classifications and these classifications are based on how big they are and how strong its defensive capabilities.
From the lowest to highest: E – > D – > C – > B – > A – > S.
With S-Grade being the largest and its population totaling to millions of mixed-race lifeforms, such a sector was a dream to many people.
The lower the rank of one's Sector and the lower the grade of the city makes living cheaper. But even though Lilah lives in an E-Grade Sector with the numeric number of 12, she and her sisters still live in the Homeless Avenue.
In an E-Grade Sector that doesn't even have the most minor of defensive walls, living in the Homeless Avenue is a feat in of its own.
Homeless Avenue just like its name pertains; it means that the people living there were people without a proper home. The Homeless Avenue is a good place to live in if you can bear the cold night wind and the pervading feeling of Daemons attacking at night.
This is place is a gathering of different people and races, whether it be criminals or debt-stricken fools, if you try hard enough almost every scumbag is gathered here and you will find what you wish to find.
Lilah had Lilith prepare what little bread they had in the secret pantry. The old bread they bought with what little they had was eaten as breakfast together with some wild berries handpicked by Lilah.
The three began to eat, and it was quiet — eerily so. But this was actually their usual morning. Lilah was a stoic lady. She rarely speaks and would only say what is necessary.
Even for Lily and Lilith, it was hard to interact with Lilah intimately but she is the only big sis they have who takes care of them so dearly so it does not matter.
When 7:00 am came rolling in, Lilah had them pick up the pace and clean up the place. And when 7:15 am rolled around Lily and Lilith were about ready to leave for school.
Before leaving, Lilah stared at their backs and smiled to herself.
Once again, she entered the shack and grabbed her gear. She prepared herself and left the shack with a bow and three arrows, bread crumbs, a heavy black pot, and of course her bone knife,
She left the shack after hiding what little food they have. She also made sure to set up the traps at the entrance to make sure no one will be able to enter.
She then left after making sure their home is almost impregnable. She wanted to leave the Sector and hunt, the hunting grounds for a powerless lass like her is east of the shack but this time she heads west.
She trekked the rough grounds of the western woods of Homeless Avenue where even 'Veteran Homeless People' avoid.
The west area of Homeless Avenue is the home of Black Hounds. Black Hounds are Daemons who eats anything it can latch its fangs on, a Black Hound is strong enough to rip apart the limbs of a grown man.
With Black Hounds around the Homeless Avenue should have been abandoned, correct? But that was not the case because around the Homeless Avenue are Faerith Trees that releases a smell Black Hounds avoid.
Lilah secretly brought the corpse of George here in order for it to be disposed of. There is little to no guard patrolling Homeless Avenue so a lot of death occurs around these parts.
The west of Homeless Avenue is known as the Garbage Bin because of the large amount of human trash being thrown around for the Black Hounds to feast on.
Lilah looked around and went to find the place she left George's body in and found nothing; only blood marks of a body being dragged and a few ripped plastics. Lilah smiled thinking everything was over with George.
With that done she left for east to a place where hunting is challenging as it was easy. But to do that she had to pass through the other Homeless people.
She would rather avoid that and chose to go a secret path to get out of the Homeless Avenue. But before getting there it was inevitable to meet one or two men around the corner.
"Hey, good morning, Lilah!" they greeted her but she ignored them and kept her knife on hand.
The Homeless Avenue is relatively safe, but from time to time there are gazes that felt sticky. She was ready to do anything just so she can get away if she was to be assaulted.
She grasped the knife with resolution and when she did many averted their gazes. She may be a lass but she was also a hunter so her strength is above theirs who only laze around all day.
Lilah observed them and secretly looked over their heads and noted things down.
Lilah hurried along the path and then left the Sector. When she did she ran to the forest, set up her usual trap and then played the long game.
Her trap was simplistic, have the heavy black pot positioned upside down with a portion of it still opened by a stick that has a string to it and under the pot was the bread crumbs from back home.
She placed the bow and arrow down and began to wait. Her eyes never left the pot and it never wavered. She was patient, impatience will only result to irritation so she waited.
One hour passed, nothing — three hours passed, still nothing — five hours passed, with the sun glaring down from above signs of birds finally appeared.
A crow-like bird landed on the ground and played on the course ground. It seemed like it was playing but it was actually grooming itself.
The crow-like bird looked exactly like a crow and with that in mind Lilah dropped the string and picked up the bow that was on her side.
She knocked one of the three arrows she had and pulled the string very carefully as to not make a sound.
According to stories from her Mother, a millennia ago there used to be creatures known as crows that were considered to be very cunning creatures. Although the size of this crow-like bird put every crow to shame, Lilah wasn't scared.
This crow-like, no, enough of that, she remembered something from the pocketbook and internally gave out the commands and above the head of the black bird was a green name and a number.
[Red Beak Crow LVL 8]
The concept of levels was new to her but from what she learned from the pocketbook, she can take on anyone who has a green name floating on their head.
Lilah took in a deep breath and waited for the right timing and when the Red Beak Crow finally showed signs of momentary leisure as it casually picked the bread from under the pot without getting under it she let go of the string and the arrow flew and like a flash, it flew to hit the crow on the body.
*Puck*
The arrow pierced the neck of the Red Beak Crow and with great haste, Lilah jumped from behind the foliage and took her knife to finish off the Red Beak Crow before it can fly as a last resort.
Holding it down, Lilah fully separated its head from its neck, and as its struggles died down Lilah heaved a sigh of relief only to be taken aback and fall to her butt when a black panel appeared in front of her.

A bunch of panel appeared one after the other and soon Lilah saw an egg appearing from out of thin air. The egg was as big as her head and as it began to crack light came from within and with a *swoosh* the light blinded her momentarily and the eggshell disappeared completely and she heard the first noise of first Daemon.
