Lilah could hear the words of the system with relative clearness. By the time the system finished speaking, Lilah could feel the cat on her hands moving to her shoulders.
It was a yellow cat the size of the ordinary proportions of eight to ten inches big on its body and head while its tail alone was not one but two. It meowed and yawned as it stayed on her shoulders for a little while and looked at the yellow cat with great interest.
The fur of the cat was smooth and glossy, its eyes were crimson like ruby, its underbelly was white, and its paws seemed like it was wearing black socks.
The cat was weird but it was something powerful, this is her Guardian Daemon now and in her past life or was it future?. The name Fina was the name that had been given to it in the past.
From the words of her future self, her awakening came from killing George.
"September 23, 697: I went to find George to avenge Lily and Lilith's death. I found him a year later after my search and when I found him he was with a new family. They say bastards don't change but it seems like he turned over a new leaf, however, my rage burned and I ignored his new life and killed him.
"His death opened another path for me, a ring was heard in my mind and I found myself with a System. The system was a simple thing that only a handful of humans on earth have, but everyone from outside possesses.
"I managed to open my system after I killed my flesh and blood. It was like God was treating me with a prize after letting my sisters die. After opening the System I gained a new companion in the name of Fina, my Guardian Daemon after killing something later and earning my first blood after gaining a system."
These words came from his future self and the words of her future self was something she very much trusts. It had confirmed two things already and with it, she had changed her life completely in the form of saving Lily and Lilith.
Such is the second entry of the pocketbook. Lilah packed her things and got ready to return. She retrieved the arrow for future use. She carried the Red Beak Crow inside the black pot and head back to the Sector.
She did not return to the Homeless Avenue so quickly and went to the Hunter's Association to sell the Red Beak Crow.
She entered the shabbily looking establishment near the edge of town and sold the Red Beak Crow for extra money. The currency of Earth is known as Credit.
Credit is virtual money registered in the Empyrean Registrar of every registered citizen. The world may be fucked but money is still in use. Even as a homeless Lilah still has an Empyrean Code embedded in her body.
The Empyrean Code is a code that appeared 700 years ago. It was brought here from the other worlds and this code was used as the foundation of rebuilding the world.
On Lilah's neck was a chip, this chip lets anyone organize their Empyrean Registrar. A lot of people connect to the World Network, but Lilah can only use it for managing her money and calls.
At the moment her current savings are 20,000 Credits. All of these will be used for the quarterly registration at her sisters' school.
It was currently noon, and Lilah was already going home. She avoided everyone and with her was some old black bread he bought from the bakery. It was their unbought reserves but it will be enough to fill their stomachs.
She sold the thing that could be sold from the Red Beak Crow. A Red Beak Crow is bought from her at the price of 120 Credits. She was lucky to have killed a pseudo-Daemon and even luckier that it had a grain-like Daemon Core.
The one she managed to collect was impure but what did she expect? It was nothing but a simple mutated bird.
Lilah heads back to the shack and checked if anything was misplaced. After finding nothing was touched she deactivated the simple traps before entering the shack. It was currently two in the afternoon.
It was still early to pick up the twins from school so she fiddled with the system.

Her status appeared and all of them reflects her in some way. She has free points she can allocate to the different attributes and she put all of them on AGT increasing the AGT to 32. She is a hunter, she may as well increase her speed so she can respond much faster.
AGT not only increases her running speed but also her reaction speed. With more speed, her strength follows suit. Everything she knows came from the pocketbook these attributes of hers directly reflect her capability.
The stats will increase by two points every level and she will be given five free points every time she levels up. And with that, her basic knowledge about her own abilities is done.
But this system of hers does not specialize in her own strength. Its strengths are in her ability to make Daemons grow infinitely.
She picked up Fina that was on the side and checked her status.

Lilah sighed at this sight. Because of this, she found a new way to live. She wished to get her sister out of this place and the only way to do that is to earn money and to earn money is to become an official Hunter.
She had gained a system just like the Hunters, and she will now qualify but as she held the pocketbook she frowned deeply as one even stood out from her the most.
"On August 30, 696 there will be a Monster Outbreak Sector 12. We were sold away by now so we survived so it doesn't matter.
