Daily Routine

Lily and Lilith were both the blood sisters of Lilah. It had two years since they started living on Homeless Avenue but even so, they stopped going to school.

In school, they are known as smart children, they are at the top of their peers. They were already proficient in different fields. Lily was athletic and Lilith was book smart. They attract attention from the teachers, but not all attention is good.

Early in the morning, 30 minutes before class, the twins would enter the room and once they enter they would be subjected to disgusted gazes of their peers.

As soon as they enter groans would fill the room and the young boys and girls would pinch their nose saying, "It reeks, you two, why are you still going to school? Are you trying to kill us with your smell? Why don't you stop going?"

"Or better yet why don't you two die and rot in Hell!? Do you even know what kind of Hell I am living because of you two? My parents are always comparing me to you! Oops, I don't think you would understand, you didn't have parents, I forgot! Hahaha."

The entire class that consists of 25 students not including them would laugh as they berate them about having no parents and their state of living. These kids look at the twins in disgust and with hateful gazes, they envy them more so than they are willing to admit.

The twins were smart and were doing well in school despite living the way they do so it was inevitable to be compared, and being compared to such trash-like beings is not something they wanted. And so, they will direct their emotions to bully and degrading them in every way they know-how.

But the twins will ignore them…

The twins will go to the back of the class and sit side by side. They will focus on their studies and would review their words and their numbers. They are 10 years old and they had already matured in such a young age.

Living in a harsh environment made them mature faster.

In school, the only thing they would do was listen. But today, it was rather bad as the test results of last week's test would come out and as the teacher was announcing, "Lilith once again got the highest score." Glares were directed at Lilith.

And when it was time to leave, the twins were held back by three leading figures of the 'excessive showing of idolization' towards Lilith. Lily would be there with her and it would always be the lines…

"How dare you low-lives get ahead of me!? Do you know who I am?!" These lines would be uttered but Lilith and Lily would stay silent and bear it. She would stand there with her dainty fists clenched for the sake of not inconveniencing her sister.

If she hits this lass trouble will follow so it would be best for Lilith and Lily to endure.

May Galand, she came from a family that has a great deal of power. Her Father is an Awakened Hunter at the double-digit LVL. May was always behind Lilith so she takes out her anger directly to Lilith in the form of verbal and physical abuse. Of course, Lily who was with Lilith would take some of the hit for her trying to protect her from the abuse.

But of course, she avoids the face and the visible limbs and would aim for her body. When the 'session' is over, Lilith and Lily would be on the verge of tears from the pain, but they will hold it so that their tears will not escape their eyes.

They must follow the words of Lilah. If they become a burden to her even more, then death would suffice for them.

Lily stared at the backs of the exiting girls and clicked her tongue, Lily pinched her on the hand saying, "Stop, if they hear you it will only cause a problem."

"But I want to make her suffer. How dare she hurt you? If it is me it is fine but, ow…"

Once again she was pinched, "Do not say that; let us go already big sis should be outside."

Lily nodded her head and under her breath, she was wishing that she too was an awakened. It did not matter what she receives, but if she can just become an awakened then everything would be alright for her and her family.

They left the classroom at around 5:30 pm and met with Lilah who was waiting for them outside. Lilah called for them and then escorted them back home without saying much. Their age only has a three-year difference but the gap of their mind was already so wide.

While walking, Lily tugged on Lilah's shirt, "Big sis, Lilith got the top marks again today."

Lilah turned to Lily and showed a rare smile and then to Lilith. She lightly ruffled their hair and congratulated her, "Good job, Lilith, we will celebrate with crow entrails tonight."

Lilith smiled as she savored the feeling of having her head path. Lilah's show of affection was rare.

The twins chose to live in this life so they will not bother or worry their sister who was already shouldering everything. Night came and they ate, Lilith prepared the entrails of the crow Lilah hunted and they managed to eat a good meal that night. Their food may not have salt but it was tasty for them nonetheless.

Lilah had the two sleep for the time being. The twins slept and after they did, Lilah carefully lifted the clothes of Lilith and saw the bruises on her body. Seeing them she gritted her teeth and said her apologies as they slept.

She vowed to get them out of here and get justice for them when she becomes strong enough. When midnight came, Lily woke up and changed night watch with Lilith. The two of them will cycle until three when Lilah will once again wake up to switch.

This is the day of Lilah, she only gets a few amounts of sleep, but that is enough for her. While she was preparing to rest, she remembered the words of her future self.

'In the next few days, an outbreak will occur and this place will be overrun. We have to leave before that happens.' But in order for her to do that she will need more Credit and to have more Credit, she will have to hunt for stronger Daemons.

She is currently LVL 3. She needs to slay a lot of Daemons in order to reach the next LVL. She fell asleep and woke up three hours later and like their daily routine she saw her sister off.

Preparing her hunting tools, Fina returned on her own before Lilah can even call out to her and left for the forest outside the Sector, their goal was to raise their level and increase their strength.

'I promise I'll get you guys out of here.'
