Boops hurriedly told Jason.
'don't worry, I recorded it, I can implement it into your head.'
"will it hurt?"
'yeah it will, but not as bad since its only a small piece of information and your body is more suited for this type of information cause of your job.'
Jason only had to think about it for a few seconds
"Alright, ill give it a shot"

While Charlie was standing there looking at Jason in a menacing style, Jason was biting his lip trying not to cry out in pain. It wasn't as bad as the unbearable pain he felt before. Instead, it felt like bees were stinging his head constantly.
Thankfully the pain only lasted for a few seconds, and soon enough the entire form and stance was in Jason's head, he could move and do every single thing Charlie had just done with perfect precision.
Jason turned back to Charlie and answered confidently
"yup, I know all of it"
Charlie raised his eyebrows in surprise
"alright prove it, do the form and its movements again"
Jason took out his wooden sword and followed the movements perfectly, from the feints in the middle to the all outswing at the very end. Everything was on point.
When Jason let the tip of his wooden sword hit the ground, Charlie started to walk to Jason an exceptionally bright and happy smile on his face. He clasped Jason's shoulder
"wow, that was exceptional, only a select few are able to learn it first try and it seems you are one of them"
Even though Jason kinda cheated, he expected more praise than just he was exceptional, but whatever he had gotten the first form. Jason while doing the 1st form noticed how offensive it was and how it didn't even have a single defensive posture. He looked at Charlie and asked
"why is the first form such an offensive one?"
Charlie grinned and answered
"one of the friends I met on one of my travels said this to me many times, "offense is the best defense" Im not to sure if always right, but i does have some truth in it,"
Jason nodded and asked another question
"whats the 1st form's name?"
Charlie laughed again and answered
"It really doesn't have a name, some just call it first from others call it offensive form its up to the user really"
"I see"
"yup, now I'm going to teach you something special that I like to use. The rest of the forms will be taught by the rest of the group. It fits perfectly you know. 7 forms 7 days, "
Charlie pulled out his sword again and motioned to Jason to watch. Charlie focused on his sword intensely and the clear jewel in the middle of his sword started to shine. The white glow the clear jewel gave off started to manifest itself onto the blue metal. It crept on carving intricate patterns and rune-like letters that glowed with white light.
Once the white light finished doing its thing on the blue metal, Charlie leapt toward a tree at the edge of the field. Jason briefly noticed a greenish glow on his feet.
*whoosh*
Charlie disappeared and reappeared in front of the tree and swung his sword. The 3-meter thick tree was cut in half like butter, and Jason watched from the center of the field as the tree slowly slide off of its trunk and collapse. If Jason was a bit closer he would have seen some white on the place where the tree was severed, slowly burning into it, like fire.
Charlie again bent down like a runner preparing to run and disappeared again. He reappeared next to Jason which kinda scared him, but he managed to not freak out. He looked at Charlie with the face that said
"what the flying frick was that?"
And Charlie started to talk, Jason stared at him in an intense and forced way. Heck if Charlie was going to teach how to do whatever the frick that was. Then he wouldn't lose it for the world.
Charlie showed Jason his sword, It the still the glowy blue metal sword he had seen before with the sparkly metal and 3 jewels except that the blade had intricate white markings on it.
"This is what happens when you put in a bit of holy magic into your sword. My specialty is fusing magic and swordsmanship. I'm basically a magic swordsman and I'm going to teach you how it's done."
Jason nodded his head furiously, using cool magic was always welcome, plus he was only level 3 on mana manipulation so it helped Jason to learn a bit.
Charlie countied his lecture
"so when you inject some of you attributed mana into a weapon like this, the effects and power depend on both your sword and the amount and quality of mana you put in. Wait actually I don't know your attributes Arch, what are they?"
"uhhh, actually I don't...."
Heck, Jason hadn't even heard about attributes until now. Before Jason could admit that he didn't know what his attribute was Boops quickly interrupted Jason.
'wait, wait, wait, chotomate, Jason, just say that you have all of the attributes for all of them, its a thing all system users have.'
"really?"
'Yeah, sorry I totally forgot about talking to you about mana, but it looks like Charlie will do the introduction.'
Jason quickly finished his sentence that he had left unfinished.
"yeah, I have all of the attributes."
"really? wow that's pretty rare, I only have seen a few people like that"
Charlie responded in a normal way. Jason just nodded dumbfoundedly, he had expected Charlie to be really surprised or something but instead, he just treated it like normal. Jason could hear Boops talking in his head
'what kind of monsters has Charlie met, heck having all attributes is like one of the most sought after things for all mages and he's met multiple of them. What the heck'
Charlie sheathed his sword and countied lecturing
"well, I guess you know the attributes already then, water, fire, earth, wind, dark, light, holy, undead, plant, and the other ones. But the effects they have on a sword can be predictable and also unpredictable so I think you should know the ones that are a bit unpredicatalbe."
Charlie looked around for the blackboard that he and the rest of the blue 2 team had used to draw examples on. But it was all the way in the shed and Charlie didn't feel like getting it. He drew his sword again and started to draw on the ground.
"Okay so as you saw, the holy attribute is usually used as a healing one, but when it's on a sword it increases sharpness and has a burning effect, sorta like the fire attribute one. The plant attribute is unpredictable but it usually works on giving the user of the sword buffs or poisoning. The undead attribute is usually used to steal life-force and other times it can be used to actually turn others into undead, which is why it's kinda looked down on. Hmm what else dark attribute is useful for summoning creatures and curses like the undead attribute but the dark attribute on a sword is sorta like a sword with plain mana in it. Nothing much happens except it emits a dark fog and its sharper."
Charlie gave up drawing with his sword and just talked the entire time.
"so yeah, that's the weird and unpredictable ones. Some of them are useless like the dark and undead, some people think the holy one is useless but I like it. The rest of the attributes are predictable and I'm sure you can figure them out on your own."
Charlie clapped his hands together one last time and said to Jason
"Alright I want you to practice injecting mana into your sword and the first form, I think Colby is doing tomorrow's training session."
Charlie started to walk off of the field while Jason watched dumbfounded, he called out to the figure that slowly walked away
"wait, do I get any food? Do I get any rest? Am I doing this for the entire week?"
Charlie turned around once
"no, no, and yes"
after saying those words Charlie did the disappearing thing he did when he cut the tree and Jason was left in the field. Nobody was in the field yet even though the sun was pretty high up in the sky. He expected some people to come but it seems he was left alone. Jason started at the empty field once more, he realized that he needed to do something, and he raised his sword through the tears of frustration that almost fell down his face and started to repeat the seemingly endless 1st from while trying to inject mana.
Meanwhile, the twins and the rest of Jason's acquaintances were also working hard, they were either preparing for when the rest of the players came in or grinding to get out of the beginners town still. Whatever it was, Jason and the rest of the group were slowly but surely making a foundation a solid and strong one.
