Duh dunnn duhhhh FIGHT!

Welf didn't give the blue 2 team anytime to do anything else, he rushed forward with his fists extended towards Charlie.

He pulled back and a type of invisible energy seemed to swirl around his fist. He punched out and the energy launched out with a loud roar.

The energy spun around in a vortex that aimed for Charlie. It flew between the space of Welf and Charlie within a few seconds.

Colby dashed in front of Charlie and slammed his shield on the ground, and his shield gave off a golden light. In front of Colby, a shield made out of hardened earth with some red lines in it appeared.

The vortex of energy slammed into the first shield and in a few seconds is quickly destroyed it and moved on to Colby who dug his feet into the ground and gritted his teeth.

Colby and the vortex of energy were at a stalemate for a bit of time, with Colby being constantly being pushed back by the tremendous force.

Finally, after 2 minutes the energy slowly started to dissipate. Colby staggered up, his legs were shaking and a bit of blood was seeping out of the corner of his mouth.

Jason was watching everything and he quickly analyzed Welf

Jason looked at the level of Welf and started to yell in his head

"awww #%$^%*&()&*&^%$&^&*^(&)*&*^&^ we are so screwed aren't we"

Boops tried his best to reassure Jason

'you haven't died yet! besides your stats are higher than your level'

" BUT IM LEVEL 49!!!!!!"

Boops coughed awkwardly and answered

"it could be a breakthrough, I think, try not to die, dude"

Jason rolled his eyes at Boops measily attempt to comfort him and rushed over to where Ethan and Lyle were.

Colby, Mark, and Charlie were currently engaging Welf in a defensive stance, mostly dodging his energy blasts while trying to find an opening in him.

Jason quickly asked Lyle

"alright, so what are we going to do?"

Lyle answered nonchalantly

"the usual"

Jason just looked at him, and Lyle looked back confused. He finally realized it after a bit

"ah! that's right, you never fought with us huh? well I'm sure you'll be fine, you fought against all of us so you should know a bit about our styles"

Ethan called out to Lyle and Jason to hurry up and help the 3 Blue 2 team members as they were struggling.

Lyle nodded and gave Jason a passing comment

"just hack and slash, and when you have opportunities open the gap for us"

Lyle quickly ran over to where Ethan was with Jason hot on his feet.

Jason wanted to think about what Lyle meant but a sudden blast of energy forced him to jump to the left.

Jason looked at Welf who had just shot off the blast of energy. Mark was currently trying to cut him down but Welf was quickly and pushed off of the ground and moved away a few feet to dodge the downwards slash.

Mark's sword hit the ground and cut into it. And before Mark could react Welf give him a big uppercut to the stomach sending him flying away behind Charlie who was busy chanting something while Colby stood protectively in front of him.

Welf stood still eyeing Colby who stood with a firm expression in front of Charlie. But a sudden black sword swung from behind Welf and tried to hit his bareback. Welf jutted our his elbow and stopped the black sword from moving any further. He whirled around with a light orange energy on his left fist and punched out at Lyle who was holding the sword.

Lyle managed to hold up his black sword in the trajectory of the punch and mitigated any serious damage but he was still pushed back a few meters away. A sudden pulse from Welf's body pushed away Mark who was trying to get close again. Jason saw that it was the skill (focus) that Welf had just used.

Jason realized that he probably needed to help and dashed in with his sword. He chose the 2nd form since if Colby struggled on defense, he wasn't going to stand a chance. He needed to be quick.

A notification came up in Jason's head

Jason pushed off with his legs and ran towards Welf. He had gained some new skills and he hadn't been able to use them yet.

The moment he got close enough for Welf to pay attention to him, he jumped to the side and used the skill (sneak) melting into nothingness.

Welf instantly sharpened his senses closed his eyes to spread out his ki to look for Jason. But when he was about to spread out his Ki, Ethan came charging in with a spear in one hand and his sword in the other.

He threw the spear as hard as he could at Welf. Welf snapped his eyes open and caught the spear, the spear point restest a few inches away from his face.

But as he opened his eyes, his focus was lost, and the Ki that he had spread around dissipated.

Jason appeared behind Welf with his sword pulled back for a stab and screamed out two skill names in his head.

Jason's sword glowed in a green-blue color and stabbed into Welf's back.

Welf quickly turned around and raised a fist to pummel Jason. But shield bashed into the back of his head. Forcing him to jump out of the encirclement and retreat.

He put strength into his legs only to realize that two thick tree roots had wound around his legs and made his stay there.

Welf quickly employed the focus skill pushing back Jason and Colby away from him. He punched out with an energy blast at Jason which caught his left shoulder as he tried to jump out of the way.

Welf then retreated a few hundred meters back to attend the wound that Jason gave him. He was bit surprised it pierced his skin, but when he saw the green color his flesh was turning rage started to set in. He was poisoned.

Jason swore as pain set into his shoulder. He looked at his shoulder and saw that blood was gushing out of a wide wound. Boops was freaking out over the wound. But Jason ignored it and held his sword in his right hand.

He was about to rush back at Welf, but Boops managed to direct him to Charlie who was still in the back holding his sword and was preparing to do a final attack with everyone.

Charlie spotted Jason who was running towards him with an injured shoulder and quickly started to chant a heal spell.

Jason watched as his shoulder seemed to stitch itself together.

It was taking a few minutes but Boops was monitoring his condition and reported that the spell needed a few minutes to fully recover him.

So the two sides were at a bit of stalemate with both of them trying to recover from their wounds.

Jason soon recovered and Charlie asked him

"are you sure you want to join us this round?"

Jason nodded resolutely and Charlie shook his head and answered

"Alright, but if you get hurt you are retreating understood?"

"yes"

Charlie raised his blue sword, Lyle pulled out his black sword from the ground. Colby slammed down the visor of his helmet. Mark imbued a fiery red color into his sword and Ethan's horse neighed and rears in provocation of Welf.

Jason joined by raising his steel sword and fixing his helmet.

Lyle went first disappearing and then reappearing next to Welf, he was about to stab him, but Welf punched out with an energy blast at point-blank range.

A dust cloud was kicked up, and Jason hurriedly ran over to where they were.

The dust cloud settled and Jason could see a figure between Welf's extended fist and Lyle. Colby's hands shook and almost dropped the heavy shield he was wearing.

Welf moved to finish the two off, but Ethan rushed in swinging his sword at Welf's head in a furious manner. Mark was next to him doing large heavy swings that left a trail of fire as he cut down.

Charlie was behind them shooting a large number of razor leaves at Welf, miraculously leaves avoided the twins like as if they were alive and only rushed towards Welf.

Jason rushed towards Welf and raised his sword and swung down as hard as he could.
