Cleaning 01 - The day of destiny

"To all people that been summon by Us, I would like to welcome everyone. You all here as our savior to develop our world that been newly created by Us...." That is the first sentence that been said to us by some old man.

That man standing at the stage that look like a huge cloud while looking at us with his serious face. His attire look like the ancient Greek people, make him so old dated person. Behind him, there were few people wearing the same cloth like him, busy doing something without care of us looking at them, like the workers in the office. I can see some weird computer look like things on the cloud stage, handled by the personnel - maybe doing the administration task. Thus, it make me wondered that those people are the lackeys of that guy.

"Before I explains further, I would like to introduce Our self name. We are the one that called Administration Master 1578. We have been task to supervise the world called Selcihev. Unfortunately, We couldn't do much as We are a newbie in this business. Our world doesn't develop much like Our senpai and that's problem for Us. So, We decide to summon you all, from the one of the main and oldest universe realms, the Earthling, to help Us develop one of Our world." The old man, I mean the Administration Master (AM) begun his explanation without caring us, who confused by this event.

By the way, all the people who been summoned here including me are related to International Monarch Academy in the city X. Everyone, including the students, teachers, admin staffs and even the janitor like me have been summoned by that fellow. I don't know the exact number summoned here, but the sum of people that been transferred to this place more than 300. Not even one been missing from being the victims, even the headmistress. Ah, the school boards excluded from this incidents. In my mind, there are only one question; why summon all of us?

Before I continued this story, let me introduce myself. My name is Roy Pendragon. Yes, I am the descendant of the ancient king, the great king of ancient Britannia. Even though my name quite grand, but my occupation in this academy is a humble janitor. Before this, I been serving in the military for 20 years and retired as Warrant Officer. Right after that, I been offered to work in this academy and doing that until this day. My age already reach 54 years old, and I still unmarried yet. Mind you, I not virgin but a single old man.

Some must wonder why I been offered working here? Actually, that related to this school. Let me explains the distinctive feature about this academy that different from other high school.

Firstly, this academy only accept any individual from the lineage of the ancient kings like me. Not only the requirement not only for the students, but also the teachers, admin staffs and even the janitors like me. The most important person in the school, the headmistress Erina Gilgamesh, also a descendant of the legendary king of Uruk.

Secondly, this academy is the high school level with the boarding facilities. The student around the world with the criteria that I stated earlier will placed here for three years, and they don't allowed the students to return home or when out from the premise until they graduate. Even though this school doesn't limited specific gender, but all the student is female. Even the non-student there mostly the female side. The male in that school can be counted by one hand, including me, the janitor. Most people especially the student choose to study here because wanted to evade those political marriage. Most of us that staying at the academy are the wash out person from those distinguish families, so this is an excellent excuse to avoid become the victims of those upper echelon as their political agenda.

Thirdly, I don't know exactly the information, but this suspicious academy has been established by some mysterious organization, that become the board of management for the school. This school provided free of charge education payment, including school fee, foods and accommodation. The school itself very luxurious and grand. It also completed with high tech facilities for study feature. Even the student accommodations not extravagantly to be called as the 7 star room hotel, with one person for each room. The foods also prepared by high class chef, who also from the lineage of the ancient king. One of the chief, miss Louise Charlemagne, a beauty middle age women and single like me. She always prepared a bento for me, even though she quite busy. What a nice girl....

Sorry for the distraction, let's focus on the story. One day, all the students, teachers, and staffs been gathered in the school hall, having the usual assembly in the first day of the month. This is the tradition of the school to gather like that and listen to the speech of the teachers. But, no one ever guess on that day, our life will never be the same again.

Before the incident happened, the Headmistress, miss Erina, give tongue to the students about the school matters and her usual advises. She also a single women and very kind to like me, but quite strict to her students. She actually a kind person who always treat me on dinner. I don't know why she always in bad mood if I ate Miss Louise lunch box, but overall she is a good person. Ah, again I went astray from the topic.

While the audiences listening to her preach, suddenly out of nowhere, a magical circle appear at the assemble place and let out the shining bright light. All of the people there surprise about that but can't do nothing while speechless with that weird phenomena. Some may think this is a gimmick by the school, but it's too late for us to react because of that confusion. The light bathed us and stole our consciousness, lead us to this very place. That is when we meet the suspicious old man, the AM.

"Bring us back! We didn't agree to involve this quack!" Miss Erina speak out her rejection on the old man proposal. She is the first person to argue with that person.

"That will not do. You all have been the sacrifice lambs by your own kinds, as the payment of Our help. Those guys blessed by Our grace, and become wealth. You all become Our bane..."

"What?!" It's not hard to guess who responsible with this incident. Those old fool, the boards! No wonder the filthy old riches splashed their money for this stupid academy!

"Fear not. Us will give you opportunity to revenge against those fools, as long as you succeed doing Our quest. We even granted you any wish that you want. Anything, including returning back to your world." AM smile at us, showing some hope.

"What it is?" Miss Erina question the old man.

"Become the king in Our world. You must lead Our peoples and develop them with your knowledge."

"But, how?! We only a powerless person! Unless, you granted us some miracle or ability!" Oh. Miss Erina, that is a great point! Maybe that old guy will granted us the superpower like the anime that I watch in the past when I trained as soldier in Japan. I remember back one of those anime; the story about the protagonist summoned to other world and granted with cheat abilities.

"We won't give you any weird power, but we will granted you a special ability. You can buy anything you wanted from you world using the Heaven Currency (HC). Just recite catalogue, and you will shown the special browser screen appear in front you. It came with a list of any products, things and necessities that you wanted to help you develop your own kingdom. Well, everything have it's own price and value, so use your HC wisely. You can raised up your HC by gathering people in your kingdom or engaging any event that related to your future country. For beginner, We will provide you the initial fund of 10,000 HC, and will annually pay your reward, 10,000 HC if you manage to build your base and still alive in that period. You can think that as your salary."

"What about our own life? What if we die in your world?" Ask Erina again. She sure a good headmistress. Her braveness facing those weird old man should be praised.

"That's your problem, not Our. Live your own life..."

"What? It's just outrageous!" Erina been furious with that guy answer. She try to voice out more but the aura of that guy stopped her.

"Silence! We would not listen anymore about your complaint or question. The only thing you must know that this is not a dream or game that you play on your device in the Earth. This is a reality for you now. Even though the way of how you live there is quite same as the game thing for you all, but whenever you died, that's the end of you all. Like those legendary character said, you die if you were killed... So, listen carefully!" The old man finally become serious, make our mouth closed without any noise. Erina almost fall on her back, but supported by me. She look at me with her scare eyes, but keeping her brave face while clinging on me.

"We will send you all in the world of Us, but before that, you must pick one of three options. Each options have it's own advantage, depends on your choice. The options are related to your political ideology that you used in the your reign in your future country. First is Freedom, the ideology that been widely used in your modern world. The second one is Order, the ideology that most popular in the past and still used by some country until now. The last one is Autocracy, the ideology that ignite the world war in your world and less popular now. Should you pick one of it, you will granted special bonus on the your HC transactions and business deals." Suddenly, three emblem of the ideologies appear in front of us.

"You have 3 minutes to pick you ideology. If you failed to make you own choice, you will forced transfer to Our world with random ideology. Should you pick, you will immediately send to Our world. We will send you all separately, far from each other. Our world size is same with your world, except Our world, Selcihev only have three continent, that separated by the ocean. The climax of each part of the world are same, with 4 season, winter, spring, summer and autumn. Mind that this world is not following all the nature rules like your world like different climax in the country like the opposite season of Northern Hemisphere and the Southern Hemisphere. Still there is time zone or different daylight time, which depends on your location. We will send you there in early spring, so you have time to prepared for the winter season." He explain to us about the choice like the NPC in the game. He right, this is a game like situation, but your life depends on it.

The people start to pick their choices. The most picked ideology is Freedom, and followed by Order. The less one, Autocracy ideology is what that I decided. As the ex-army, I prefer this kind of principle especially in creating my own kingdom. I remember the popular phrase in ancient time, Si vis pacem, para bellum, meaning "If you want peace, you should prepare for war". The winner write the history, right?

"I choose that...." I touch the Autocracy emblem and suddenly the same phenomena that bring me to this place, happen again. This time, I will leaving this place to new world, that created by that fellow. While my consciousness faded away, I laughed at my own as I thinking about the most popular ancient war story; the romances of three kingdom. But, in my situation now, I would say "the romances of three hundred plus kingdom". Come one, it's funny right?
