I woke up in a big empty bed with an awful headache, the memories of the past night were a blurring video of nothing.

It took a second to my brain to process but I remembered opening up to what Koyuki said and planned behind my back, and how I wanted to make her suffer soon.

"I let the alcohol take hold of me," I sighed as I got off bed getting my clothes on.

Koyuki's time was coming to and end, and people would want to know why so it didn't matter much that I let that information out.

With that out of my head I went to meet with the queen, and get some breakfast.

As I walked through the stairs to the dining room, I notice that in the middle of the castle there was a park, where dragons and children played together in harmony.

From the window in the stairs, I could see that the entire kingdom was surrounded by tall walls; and on the inside of them there were numerous houses, stores and other building, as well as the palace.

The exterior of the palace had many tall structures with Dragon statues placed on top of them denoting her title as the dragon queen.

The palace itself was a large, stone building with many unique structures and arches and in the interior of the palace is where Dragons and children routinely played, a park she created to see everyone coexist

Taking a deep breath of this fresh air, I continued going to my destination the kitchen, to eat a balanced breakfast with some sweet delicious cookies.

As I approach the kitchen in greeted by everyone in the castle, dragons and humans alike happy with my presence, what did I do.

The more I approach the kitchen the more I understand why they seemed so happy.

I heard the muttering, above what happened last night, not my private conversation with the Queen, but something I apparently shouted out.

I wonder that it was, regardless it was irrelevant, from now on I would hold my alcohol.

Once in the kitchen I asked for some eggs and bacon, and chocolate chip pancakes, after eating my well deserved breakfast, it was time to meet with the Queen.

"Morning, my 'knight in shining armor'" Irene made air quotes while giggling, not sure why she made the air quotes in the knight in shining armor part.

"Morning," I smiled as I leaned close to her hear, "What did I say last night?"

"Mmm, that's for me to know and for you to wonder," Irene giggled, "But I will hold you to it,"

Ain't this quite the situation I made a promise I have to keep and I don't even know what's the promise, whatever it is I hope it's not something that big.

After that Irene continued to tease me with references to what happen last night that I didn't remember, after a while she stopped and decided to go down to business.

"As you know some dragons," Irene sighed, "some dragons don't like the idea of coexisting with humans, and I have been working in a way to connect humans and dragons together,"

She was the creator of the dragon slayer magic, perhaps she already created such thing, "and that is?"

"I was able to enchant myself and others a few years ago way before we met, with dragon power, some dragons helped like Igneel and Grandine," Irene explained the process of her enchantment, one that she came up with the help of her advisor Berserion, "I call it dragon slayer magic,"

Not what I would call a magic to unite two species, is like calling a treaty the human slaying treaty, not very friendly to the eye, "Have to analyzed the cons of such enchantment?" I inquired, perhaps if I told her she would find a way to keep her human body.

"I didn't have time to... do it," Irene smiled sadly, "Nor the luxury to do it, with this humanity will defend against those who can't accept change and will bring humans and dragons closer together,"

I think I could spoil her the ugly surprise in advance, "I can see the magic slowly taking hold of you, one day there won't be human but dragon inside,"

Irene eyes widen, as she asked, "How did you figure that out?"

"I can see the energy within you, with my eyes," I activated my Sharingan, "I can see the dragon side slowly taking hold of you,"

"If that's the case... I would lost all my humanity... the results could be catastrophic," Irene said with a serious expression on her face.

"There must be a way to stop this," Belserion said looking at his queen worried.

If I remembered correctly it I sealed a dragon to control the curse and build an immune system inside the cursed body, eventually the curse would be lifted and the catastrophe would be stopped in time.

"I think I know how to solve it," I offered and started to explain step by step what I knew, when asked how I knew such thing I would answer because I saw it in a future vision, that was one of my powers.

Berserion said that the idea had its merit, a dragon could hold and build said immune system from the inside with ease, so like the loyal soldier he is, he offered to do.

"Berserion... I " Irene was crying saying she would find another way.

"I live to serve, and it would be my honor to give my life for yours," Berserion smiled.

After that, things got a bit too sentimental for my tastes, so I decided to go and find Kimimaro that has been missing since this morning.

I woke up in the middle of a maze with no exit, and wondering one thing and one thing only, "Where in the seven hells am I?"

How did I end here and more importantly, who brought me here.
