Peter was still focusing on the development of his skills. He knew that he had lots of potential enemies to face and that they would get more difficult to beat each time. He had three spider-bombs which he constructed, Peter managed to make them almost 3 fold smaller compared to their previous size. They were made from light metal which he "borrowed" from a nearby storage building.

He also upgraded his costume a bit, so that now it had small magnets integrated at a belt level so that he could carry his bombs easily. He was also working on a prototype of an electric spider-bomb which he would use in some cases if his enemy would rely on any type of technology.

He was also mastering his fighting skills and already became one of the best in his fighting school in terms of movement. He was going to the training regularly so that he can get more fighting experience which he would then use against criminals.

Peter started fighting against small criminals almost every day. He was using the same strategy - listening to calls of police on their radio-wave and finding the criminal using the information given. Most of the people he caught were thieves and burglars, Peter did not kill any of them but punished them harshly for attacking peaceful citizens by punching them. Most of them had serious physical injuries like having bruises and cracks in the bones.

Peter said that they should stop breaking the law, otherwise he would find them and they will not get off so easily next time. That is why it was not surprising that none of the criminals he met broke the law ever again. Spider-Man found this method effective and decided to punish all of the criminals to give them a chance for a new life, but kill the ones who are exceptionally dangerous and violent.

New-York Police Department (NYPD) was shocked by this mysterious avenger, as they would always find criminals tied up in a web with all the money they stole. However, some officers did not like Peter's methods as they found them too radical.

Spider-Man continued his actions for more than a month so that the number of criminals he caught went above 60. It seemed like none of them had a chance to escape from him. It all led to other criminals being scared of Spider-Man which culminated into the lowest average monthly crime index for the last 6 years in New-York and for the last 11 years for Queens in particular. Peter was making an emphasis on making the area near his house less dangerous to prevent Uncle Ben's death.

When journalists found out that there is a mysterious avenger, reporters started asking the police about him which resulted in a news report which was shown on all of the main news channels on TV and also got millions of views on the Internet. Even though some superheroes were already widely known, lots of people got interested in Spider-Man as he was one of the few who fought against small criminals.

After Peter immobilized another burglar, one of the journalists managed to take a photo of him climbing up a wall. Peter spotted him because of the camera flash, came up, and took the camera from his hands using a web.

"Please don't do it. The camera is very expensive"

Peter took the memory card with his right hand, clenched his fist to destroy it, and gave the camera back to him. The journalist was very impressed by his power.

"Your outfit looks fresh. People want to know more about you"

"Do they?"

"Of course they do! Any newspaper is ready to pay tons of money for the photos of you"

"Well, thanks for the info. I will try to avoid journalists from now on" said Peter before leaving.

"Wait, at least tell me your name"

"Spider-Man"

(Next day)

There was another news report about the mysterious avenger, it was mainly an interview with the journalist he met the day before. He said that his name is Spider-Man and that he is able to climb up the walls, launch the web from his hands, and is physically strong. Peter watched the whole report on YouTube and was about to close his laptop when he saw an advertisement that popped up at the end of a video.

"100$ for a single photo of Spider-Man. If you have them please contact us by coming to our main office which is on 39th Street and Second Avenue, where we can discuss the details. It is a unique opportunity to get employed for New-York's most famous newspaper - Daily Bugle"

Peter was thinking about going to their office because he needed some money to invest in the development of his costume and other utilities. Moreover, he did not have that much left in the savings. So, he decided to take some pictures on the next day and then go to Daily Bugle's office.
