URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT:

Hello dear viewers, long time no see. I have been absent for more than 2 years due to personal issues during covid and starting college/university. I am thankful to all of you for your support of this project. I would like to announce that I just got back to posting fan-fics and it is about anime/manga - Blue Lock. The name of the series is "What If Nagi Had The Biggest Ego" and it will be coming out in 2 formats, text, and video. Episode 1 is already out in the text version. Peter was lying on the floor, his right leg was broken.

He could not move and was barely conscious. So he grabbed his phone and called Harry to ask for help.

(1 hour later)

Harry got back to his house. He helped Peter to change his clothes and drove him to the hospital.

Doctors said that it will take him several months to fully recover. However, with Spider-Man's boosted regeneration process it would take Peter about 2 weeks.

They told Aunt May and Uncle Ben that it happened accidentally when they were playing basketball outside.

During these two weeks, Peter was thinking about what he has already done as a hero. Although his image became very popular among New-York citizens and most people considered him as a hero, he had very controversial feelings. On the one hand, he saved lots of people and prevented fatal consequences that could have happened. However, on the other hand, he was felt bad for killing people.

"All of them were a threat to a peaceful life of citizens, but... some of them were good people deep inside. Norman Osborn was a successful entrepreneur and changed the media's opinion about science. He was very talented and intelligent, but his ambitions ruined his life. He sacrificed himself for the experiment." Peter thought.

"Regarding Otto Octavius, he had a similar fate. He also was exceptionally smart and talented, but never got the recognition he truly deserved... and when he finally got a chance, he lost everything. His wife, job, and his mind... But there is no other way people like them can be stopped. From what I know, villains would always find a way to escape and strike back. I just cannot allow this to happen. What if someone of them finds out my identity? Then everyone will be in danger."

"I just do not know what is right and wrong at this point... What is more inhuman, killing villains, or not preventing the deaths of more people?"

(2 weeks later)

Peter got back home and fully recovered. Doctors were shocked by that, as he exceeded all of the expectations and was able to walk on his own on the 10th day of being in the hospital.

He had festive dinner with Harry, Aunt May, and Uncle Ben as it was his birthday. They had a great time and were talking about the last year of school which was about to start as it was the end of August already.

Peter said that he wanted to do more science projects to gain experience and create his own company when he graduates, while Harry said that he will do his best to help Oscorp to get back to their leading positions.

"Peter, follow me. I want to show you something. It is not for long, 1-hour max" Harry said after dinner.

(20 minutes later)

Harry and Peter arrived at a particular building and got inside. Harry switched the lights on.

It was a big room which had lots of different science equipment inside.

"I was thinking about what happened recently... Spider-Man helped this city. You did it, Peter. You single-handedly decreased the crime rate significantly. Citizens are feeling safe nowadays, that did not happen for such a long time. Other superheroes do not care about regular citizens and think only about major problems." Harry said.

"I am your friend and want to help you in your good deed, this is your new workplace!"

"What do you mean?"

"There is contact there on a table, we want to make everything seem official so that May and Ben do not find out. It's a three-year contract, the salary is 1 200 000$ excluding the taxes. You are going to become the head of the research center."

"WHAT? I cannot believe you did this!" Peter said happily.

He signed a contract and could not wait for the moment he moves all of this own equipment there.

"Seems like you it is your new 'superhero lair'. Call me if you need anything, by the way, I put the metal door with the same PIN you had in your previous one."

Peter told everything to Uncle Ben and Aunt May, they were shocked and very happy at the same time.

"What about the school? Are you going to work and study at the same time?" Uncle Ben asked.

"I think this chance is given only once. I already signed the contract and in my opinion it would be better if I concentrate on my work entirely. We will have enough money and Uncle Ben will not need to work anymore."

In the end, Peter persuaded them and started working for Harry. He brought all his equipment from the hangar and was ready to work on his new inventions.
