The New Beginning

URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT:

Hello dear viewers, long time no see. I have been absent for more than 2 years due to personal issues during covid and starting college/university. I am thankful to all of you for your support of this project. I would like to announce that I just got back to posting fan-fics and it is about anime/manga - Blue Lock. The name of the series is "What If Nagi Had The Biggest Ego" and it will be coming out in 2 formats, text, and video. Episode 1 is already out in the text version. Hello dear readers! I hope that you enjoyed the first phase. Today, we are going to start a new chapter of Spider-Man's adventures, this is where Phase 2 begins. Just like in the Marvel Cinematic Universe I am going to focus more on the development of the abilities of characters and have more action scenes in general. There will also be more side characters which I think will make the fan-fic more interesting to read. Enjoy!!!

(2 weeks after the Chitauri invasion)

Peter recovered fully in a few days after the Battle of New-York, which became the invasion's official name. The overall situation improved, the main reason for that was Tony. He did his best to help the citizens and restore the city center. Moreover, he asked Pepper to create a company called 'Damage Control' that would be responsible for restoring buildings, helping citizens with providing them with necessary needs, and confiscating the equipment of aliens. The overall idea was to minimize the damage to return everything to its initial state in the shortest time possible.

But Peter knew that it wasn't going to help in the long term...

The Battle of New-York was only a start and the first challenge for the Avengers, he knew that future opponents may even be stronger than he expected.

Peter remembered that Loki and his army did much more damage to New-York than in the movie, he also recalled that there were considerably more Leviathans and Chitauri flying vehicles. Even the Chitauri Ship which Peter exploded in the space looked much bigger than he thought it did in the film.

He understood that he needed to get better at everything and that he cannot stop all of the threats on his own, even with his knowledge.

That's why, after analyzing the situation he made a decision...

"I need to join the Avengers... there's no other way to stop the future villains more effectively. Altron and Zemo, they were major threats and did substantial damage to their team. I need to join their team to avoid them facing these villains... I never understood how they managed to stop Ultron, even with Vision they should've had barely any chances. He has a genius intellect level is able to control all of the electronics in the world, even including the whole Internet. I guess the only thing he couldn't go against were the screenwriters of 'Avengers: Age of Ultron'. But it's not going to be easy to beat him in real life, the only way to stop him is to simply avoid creating him. I'm the only one who can stop Bruce and Tony from doing that." Peter thought.

He was thinking about the downsides of his plan later that day.

"S.H.I.E.L.D. can be the main threat for me... fuck... I forgot that it's not even S.H.I.E.L.D. anymore, it has so many Hydra's secret agents. I'll need to deal with them as well, this is just insane. I'm the only one who knows it from our team as well. Even Nick Fury trusts Alexander Pierce completely... I will need to help Steve and Nat to stop the genocide Hydra wants to do before dealing with Ultron. I've no choice, I need the trust of the heroes and Fury to be able to help them. I'll join them" Peter decided.

However, Peter realized that he needed to deal with other problems before doing that. He needed to delete all of the files connected to the Spider-experiment and to convince Gwen that he isn't Spider-Man.

Gladly, he had all of the opportunities for that as she and Harry arrived 2 days ago.

"Gwen, why would you make things so complicated?!" he said after she texted him.

"Hi Peter, hope you're ok. Can we meet tomorrow?" the text was.

"Tomorrow already? She is clearly mad at me and wants to ask a lot of questions. How did she persuade Mr. Stacy to let her go?" Peter thought.

After a few minutes, he responded: "Hi Gwen, I'm ok, hope you're too. I'm not sure if we can meet tomorrow, Uncle Ben told me that they can arrive this week, so I need to be at home. If they find out that I wasn't at home, they'll be mad for the rest of the year. How did your parents give you permission?"

"It should work. I just checked the news about international flights, Aunt May and Uncle Ben should arrive next Monday in the evening if they go for the first flight. I'll be able to work in the laboratory and delete the files about the experiment by the time they come back" Peter whispered.

Gwen responded in less than in a minute. She clearly couldn't wait for them to meet.

"I told them that I'll be in the park nearby with my friends for about an hour. It was difficult, but I managed to convince my dad. By the way, I just checked the news about the flights, they won't be able to arrive until the next week. Let's meet tomorrow, please. This might be our only chance."

"What? When did she check the news? It was released just half an hour ago. Damn... now if I don't talk to her, she'll find it even more suspicious. I need to not forget to buy a gift as well."

"Really? Are these news official? If yes, I can come up to the park next to your house at about 7 p.m. CU"

"Yeah, it was published on all of the news websites. 7 should be ok, cannot wait to see you)"

"I know the truth, Peter" Gwen said after sending the text.

"I won't let her find out the truth," Peter said after reading the text.
