When You're Alone

The air around him was crisp and clean, it was entirely fresh as he inhaled the scent of the forest. A gentle breeze blew through his face and hair—fluttering it gently as he stood atop the balcony. Beyond him, all he could see were trees upon trees. It was enough vegetation to fill his entire sight in lush green.

To be able to arrive at a place that was greatly different to the city that he had previously lived in, it was outstanding to say the least. The old fox was right, "There are truly pristine forests and mountains that one can go to."

But was this truly his sanctuary?

When he looked up, he met the wondrously well formed sky that was rich in blueness. Dotted and adorned with clouds and paired with the warm rays of the sun bathing everything in its lights. He held back a smile.

It truly was like that he was back in paradise.
