The Moon's Reflection

Darkness swirled and formed all around her like a thick and heavy fog she couldn't quite escape and only a sliver of silver shone down on her as a ray of light.

Like starlight.

Where was she? Her movements felt sluggish as she tried to break free and hold onto the light before her. Her fingers reached out willingly to the source of brightness as the silver melted into smooth soft—her eyes bleared open and saw the silver in her hand, the long strands of his hair.

The man's back was turned towards her, he was the only light in this pitch blackness. She hadn't exactly noticed it but they had opted out from wearing normal clothes and were wearing robes once again. And beyond them was something else. Endless rumbling sounded as the earth shook and the heavy rains continued to plummet from the skies.

They were taking shelter from a storm?
