I walk into the studio room where the pictures are taken for all new models like me.
I see my cameraman, Oliver adjusting the camera that is pointing towards a big green screen. Oliver notices us walking in and gestures me to the screen.
I walk in front of it as I'm told.
"Ok, your looking great. Just do what I tell you." He says behind the camera lens.
I nod to his instructions.
He tells me to do numerous amounts of poses as he clicks on the camera.
"Okay, I think we're done here guys." Oliver finally says after an hour later.
The people who were holding the lightning equipments, left the studio room as soon as those words were out.
I was about to join them when Oliver called my name.
"Don't you want to see the pictures?" He asks.
I consider this for a moment and say yes.
He shows me the pictures he took of me and I was amazed.
I looked... good.
I tell him he did a great job and can't wait to work with him in the future.
He tells me its his break time and I was done for the day so I went back to the dressing room to change my clothes.
I decide to keep my makeup on instead of taking it off.
As soon as I step foot out of the studio, I get a call from Mom.
"How did it go?" She asks as soon as I pick up.
"Oh, it went fine the pictures came out great. They might be on the magazines by next week." I reply.
"That's great, honey I'm so glad." Mom says, her voice crackling a little.
"Yeah I know." I reply as I tuck the phone between my shoulder and ear;unlocking my car.
"Well I got to go, bye sweetie."
"Bye."
I sit in my car and breathe a sigh of relief.
But something keeps nagging me about Oliver.
He seems so much like Owen: Light brown eyes, pale skin that seemed to shine in the light, pointed tooth.
Then out of nowhere, something sharp clicked inside of me.
It is Owen.
Oliver, Owen.
I found him! How come I haven't noticed it sooner?
My cameraman is my long lost cousin.
