The next day, Mom comes with me to the agency just to see Owen. Instantly, she is welcomed and friends with everyone else, even with my make up artist. Luna gushes over the fact that my mom is so pretty and looks like her with her hair and eyes.
Luna even gushes over me too. I don't know what is it about Luna, but she is totally faking it. I roll my eyes and plaster a fake smile avoiding to cause any scenes.
The thing is that my mom is pretty and everyone is so nice and friendly to her. It's something natural in her. She is like a magnet, attracting people wherever she goes.
And I kind of envy her.
No one pays attention to me like my mom receives. They just wrinkle their noses at me and are devastated when their told I'm her daughter.
The thing is that I look like my dad. I look nothing her.
But that doesn't mean I don't love her.
"Thanks for coming, Ms. Conwen." Charlotte says. "It was great meeting you."
"Its no problem, I was looking forward to this. Ash was talking a lot about you." Mom replies looking at me.
I blush as Charlotte looks at me.
Why does Mom have to say that?
"Anyways, I didn't meet Ash's cameraman yet." Mom points out.
Good one, Mom.
"Ah yes, he always comes in late but he should be here in a bit." Luna replies.
"Ashley has to get ready now, you can wait in the lounge." Charlotte says.
Mom nods and I follow Luna to the makeup studio.
"Your mom is so nice and pretty, unlike you." Luna sneers.
I ignore her, because she isn't worth my time.
Luna notices me being quiet and takes the hint to not say anything more.
It's an awkward silence between us.
We continue with it until she's done and I'm ready to take my photo shoot.
Another beautiful outfit lays before my eyes as I walk into the dress up room.
It is a bardot set. Yellow flowers are patterned around the pink color.
After I change into it, I go to the studio room and see Mom talking to Owen.
