SURPRISE!

When we arrived, my father's butler would not let him walk, so he pulled out a wheelchair, and pushed my father there.

The place was so gloomy, and stunk really bad. All of the younger children were rounded up and put into a safe tent, until the extra carriages arrived. When they did, some of the castle guards loaded up the children, to take them home.

My father was talking to one of the soldiers.

"Sir, about the strategy. Where would the princess stand?" He asked, as if I weren't there. Before my father could speak, I cut in. "Put me in the back. I fight better, with magic, from a distance. If I come into contact with one of the enemies-" I felt someone's hand curl around mine, when I was cut off with "then I'll be there to fight along side her!" Only to hear that it was Ash. The guard nodded his head, and walked off. I looked over to my father to see a puzzled face. "I knew you were close, but didn't think that you were this close." He said, pointing to his hand around mine.

Right at that moment, an arrow flew right over my father's head, and snapped against a rock behind as.

"Darn you! You have such bad aim! Your supposed to shoot the king!" At that moment we started to see a line of guards start to form, on the other side of the hill.
