Exchange Of Passion

"Yes, Oh!" Blake chuckled lightly, making her more flustered. "I didn't mean to laugh at you. I am sorry." He apologized to her right away after realizing that she was taking his teasing in the wrong way.

He was someone who had grown up without many people around him, people with whom he was close with. Hence, he didn't have any idea about how to act before a girl who was younger than him. Especially one with whom he shared no history.

"It's fine. I should be the one to apologize to you for acting out so dumb." Lillian shook her head and muttered softly under her breath. She was still a little flustered which was obvious from her baby pink cheeks.

"You don't have anything to apologize for. You are new here, so it's fine to ask questions. I wouldn't be this nice after a couple of months for sure." He smiled at her before changing the topic back to the room.

"This glass wall is also the reason why I am such a big fan of this room. It lets me keep an eye on my subordinates when they are training or lashing bullets out on those targets." He pointed his index finger towards the other side of the room and added. "This way I can also catch them when they aren't performing at their best." He continued, only stopping when a frown appeared in between her delicate brows.

"But won't they be performing good after realizing that you are keeping an eye on them?" Lillian decided to make use of his pause and questioned him. Her innocence filled green orbs were lost in observing the other room that she barely paid much attention to Blake.

"You are right, but that would only happen if they know." Blake walked a little closer to the glass wall and placed his palm against its smooth surface. "But they don't. You see this glass wall isn't as see through as it looks from here. It is actually a one way mirror." He continued, tapping his knuckles against it.

"For them it's just a mirror." Lillian added to get a firm nod from him. "They can't really tell when you are observing them." She continued as she stepped closer to the glass wall. "May I?" She looked to her left and asked him as she raised her hands in the air, holding them close to the polished surface.

"Sure, go ahead." Blake added nonchalantly as he drew his gaze away from her, and decided to focus on the empty room.

After getting the green signal from him, Lillian eagerly pressed his palms against the smooth surface of the wall as she appreciated the coldness under her touch. Never in her life had she seen anything resembling what was before her, or even if she had, she couldn't recall it. The loss of her memories made her mind like that of a child who was seeing the world for the first time. She was too excited about every minor thing which was going around her since she was not able to hold her curiosity back.

Lillian and Blake both were lost in their own thoughts, looking at things from their own perspectives, when they were both yanked back to the reality of life by a loud thud.

Their eyes were drawn to the entrance of the other room at the same time where two figures, who were dressed in the same clothes, were struggling with each other. At first glance, one would take their struggle as exchange of blows where one was trying to suppress the other. But in reality the exchange was of something else. Passion.

The two figures had their lips locked. They were too engrossed trying to steal each other's breath that they could care less about the two figures which were staring at them even if they were in the same room.

Blake stared at the two ladies who were busy making out with each other with his eyes narrowed down. His palms were tightly clenched into fists resting on either of his side as he glared daggers at their entwined figures through the glass wall.

He was about to stomp his way to the other room and knock some sense into their brain when he realized that he wasn't the only one who was witnessing this break of code of conduct. He slowly trailed his eyes to the small figure who was standing next to him only to find her spotted to the floor.

Lillian had both of her eyes popping out of their sockets as she stared at the scene which was unfolding behind the transparent sheet of wall. Her jaw was hanging low. She seemed to be so lost that she forgot to blink.

Without wasting another second, Blake rushed towards her and covered her eyes with his hands, blocking her view. He cursed himself internally for zoning out for a minute there and let his anger take control of his mind. The two girls who were busy making out would be punished and taught a lesson for sure, but there were certain things which were more important. The innocence of the sixteen-year-old girl who was with him.

"Keep your eyes shut." He instructed her only to get no response in return. "Did you get me?" He questioned her as he repeated his words. "Keep your eyes shut, I am about to take hands off." He waited for a couple of seconds and finally retracted his hand after she gave him a couple of nods. He stole a glance at her face to make sure she had her eyes shut before stepping away.

In a couple of long strides, he made his way back to where the small panel was and pressed the small red button on the side. The two portions of the screen which was covering the glass wall started to slide in again, but he didn't wait for it to completely cover the transparent wall.

"Keep your eyes closed until you hear a ping." He instructed her once again before he dashed out of the room, leaving her on her own.
