Getting Home Tutored

[A week later.]

"I love you. I have always loved you. I am realizing this only now when you are going away from me."

A small pause followed the tender words before a loud chuckle tore through the silence, shattering it into a million pieces.

"What rubbish is this?" Lillian sounded more than annoyed even though she was still finding it hard to stop laughing at the word she had just read.

"It doesn't matter to. You have to finish the book by the weekend." Blake, who was sitting across the room, spoke up with a shrug. His eyes were focused on the file which was resting on his study desk.

"But you didn't say that I would have to read these silly books as well. Can I not do that coding thing instead of reading these nonsensical stories?" Lillian heaved out a frustrated sigh as she complained about the book in her hand.
